The Greene House - Kierland Commons Ratings and Reviews
We were there for a “friends lunch”. There was a glitch in service when we first arrived, and the manager was incredible. He was apologetic and more than compensated us for the inconvenience. The food was terrific, but best of all was the really great service from the manager on duty. This will go down in my book as the best recovery- ever. I will definitely be back... And be sure to order the hummus!
Our server, Jackie, was quite busy, but attentive and focused on our table when she was tending to us! She did a FINE job!
We would have preferred the veranda, but, I did not request this when making the reservation- my bad! The noise level was high, but I did not expect less. The food was excellent.
I will be back!!
A fine place for lunch or dinner, although we prefer lunch -- on the patio, weather permitting. The wait staff is as good as any restaurant in Kierland Common -- or the metro area, for that matter. Just terrific, attentive when they need to be, but nothing intrusive. A+
Met two friends for lunch to celebrate a birthday. Appreciated the complimentary birthday dessert but that turned out to be the best part of the meal. All three of us had salmon salads. They were lackluster, overpriced and poorly presented. Expected much more from this greatly situated restaurant.
We've dined here before and the menu and environment was much more family-friendly this time. We didn't mind but felt they've altered their menu to accommodate family vs more upscale. Still very good but prepare for lots of families. Maybe Wed night is a family night specials.
I'VE BEEN THERE FOR LUNCH A FEW TIMES AND IT WAS GOOD..
HOWEVER, DINNER, NOT SOO MUCH..NOT GREAT..AT ALL
I WISH I COULD SAY DIFFERENT, AS I USUALLY NEVER GIVE A POOR REVIEW..
FIRST MY HUSBAND ORDERED CHICKEN WITHOUT POTATOES AND SUB.. VEGGIES.. IT CAME WITHOUT VEG SUBSTITUTE AND WITH POTATO.. NOT GREAT CHICKEN.. JUST FAIR..
I SUBSTITUTED A DIFFERENT FISH FOR A DISH THAT CAME WITH SEA BASS AND WAS LISTED ON THE FISH TACO.. THEY SAID THEY COULD DO
VERY VERY SKIMPY ON THE FISH, JUST 2 TINY PIECES LIKE THEY HAD BEEN PREPPED FOR A TACO AND HONESTLY NOT VERY GOOD AT ALL.. OVERALL A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.
