Dirty, walk thru flies to get to the bathroom. Not very good Greek food and service poor.

Excellent Greek food in a nice location in the harbor. The mezze platter was very flavorful, as was the lentil soup. We dined early on NYE, so the restaurant was busy setting up for the celebration later in the evening. While there was some disorganization to begin, things settled down and our service was quite good.

Service started out slow but got better when they realized they forgot about us. Food was good. Would definitely go again

Interactive dance performances were fun, food was great, and it's hard to beat the location on the harbor.

Great place for special occasions and tonight was another! Celebrated a birthday, enjoyed the food, music, and the amazing energy from the belly dancing to the Greek dances. Ozzie is terrific and Dimitri is the best! Thank you all for a great evening!!!

Great Greek lunch in a lovely scenic waterfront setting. We enjoyed the Greek sampler plate, shared between the two of us. Our party of 9 had excellent beverage and food service. Our table faced the harbor. Delightful views. We all rode our bicycles from Carpinteria to The Greek for lunch and back. Wonderful ride, perfect weather, delicious meal. Thank you!!

We had the best Greek food in Ventura County! We exclaimed over and over about how good our meal was! Terrific service with a great view! Not to be missed!

This is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The hostess was great, the service was great, the entertainment was fun...but the food was fantastic! I had the surf and turf platter, which was a LOT of food and every bit was delicious. My wife had the filet, which was cooked perfectly. We also had the coconut shrimp as an appetizer. Ozzy was so much fun! Thank you so much for a great evening!

While the ambiance was nice the food was extremely mediocre, the village salad was flavorless and only had 2 olives and very little fry on it with no seasoning in the dressing and the sea bass was average taste. The service was HORRIBLE, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! It took over 45 minutes to get our food and the server only came to ask how everything was after we were done eating. We will NEVER go here again, ever!

A great amount of good food that a portion of, had to be saved and taken home for two more meals. Belly dancing and Greek dancing was fun and enjoyable.

Their cook quit and a server went home sick which left them understaffed. The manager was very apologetic and comped our wine and dessert.

The service was extremely slow and the food was marginal. The chicken on my Mediterranean salad was so tough I couldn't eat it. I will not be eating there again. It was also very dirty.

It was our first visit and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent we had the mezzo platter as a starter and that was plenty but we still had entree's Great service and entertaining. We will be back.

Had a great time for my husbands birthday. Brought the grsndchildren and everyone e joyed the entertainment.

Wonderful view of the harbor - which was fortunate as our party of four waited a very long time for our food to arrive, and when it did one order hadn't been put in at all. (There were two other occupied tables at noon on a Wednesday.) Waitperson dumped a cup of sauce into the lap of the recipient of three fairly small pieces of fish in the Fish and Chips order. My lamb kebab was way past medium rare and the rice and vegetables were tepid. One high note was my husband's Lamb Burger. The kitchen was out of the dessert we ordered and had one piece of our second choice; another high note was my third place choice of a walnut baklava. As I said, wonderful view of the harbor...

Fantastic in every way! The food, the flavors, the portions, the ambiance all great. Ozzy, our server is amazing and we can’t wait to go back again.

Had the combo, the meats were very good; however the rest just ok except the Greek noodle casserole- tasted more like a botched Mac and cheese than anything else.

Seen some negatives expressed here regarding the entertainment- mild in any sense but performed by athletes with exceptional grace and talent.

My family and I (party of 10) celebrated my daughter’s 28th birthday. I ordered the Corinthian for two. All courses of the meal were delicious especially the chicken kabob. It was well seasoned and tender. In fact the food was all seasoned perfectly. The entertainment was very entertaining. We were all entranced by the belly dancer, especially my 6-year old grandson (who actually paused his game to watch her) and the male dancers’ performances also were very engaging. However, we did expect to enjoy our dinner leisurely. I advise future patrons know that the servers are also the entertainers. They ensure we are satisfied with our food and ensure we are entertained. We all had a wonderful experience and will return again.

A wonderful night of dancing and good eats. We always stop at the Greek when we are in Ventura.

We have been here many times but this was our first time with their new menu options. Everything tasted great, the service was fantastic. It is still one of our favorite restaurants to go to.

The restaurant was empty on a Friday. My wife and I brought our 2 year old for a simple quiet dinner. We were absolutely shocked when the background music changed from simple soft greek music to super load music from hell and a belly dance came out. Ruined the night! This restaurant should notify its guest that garbage entertainment is planned so people can opt out.

Great food and a great place to celebrate a birthday party

It’s a shame with such a prime location on the water that the food isn’t better. Fish was overcooked. Moussaka had no seasonings. The Bechamel sauce seem to be made of mashed potatoes.

Excellent food. Choices even my vegan niece could enjoy. And the staff made my dad’s birthday special by singing and giving him a special drink to say cheers with. Thank you!

One of our favorites , always entertaining . Food is great and never had bad service in the many visits we've had here. Great place for couples of any age!

Valentines day

The menu was a little busy (it has many items). We ordered the sampler platter. The avgolemono sauce that topped the dolmades was quite salty; I think it would've tasted better on the side or omited. Everything else: the lamb chops, falafel, loukaniko sausages, spanakopita, tzatziki, and hummus dip with hot pita wedges was superb. The service was prompt. The ambiance was perfect.

If you are looking for authentic Greek food artfully and tastefully prepared you will be disappointed. The lamb which was asked to be medium rare was well done. The hummus was bland. However the tabouli was delightful. The service was adequate but we were there mid afternoon when they were setting up for an evening event. Will we go back....probably not.
