The food was delicious and we will go back. However we will make sure to sit in another waitresses section. Our waitress was terrible.
Celebrated my birthday here on a Saturday night. Originally reservation was for 6:30pm. Received a call around 4pm to see if we could come in earlier. Request was surprising due to the fact I had invited my guests a month ago. I was able to get my guests there earlier and we were able to get good service. Apparently there were 2 other large parties and that was the reason we were asked to come in earlier.
(Wish we could have been compensated in some way for getting there earlier).
As it got busier service got a bit slower but with the dancers and entertainment and being patient guests still had a good time.
Food was great as always. Friends and I look forward to going back and maybe sitting in the patio over looking the harbor next time.

Ozzy was a terrific server. He was very attentive and made sure our order was correct, our glasses refilled, and my birthday commemorated with some sweet baklava. We loved the dancing and fun for all ages. The food was terrific— huge portions and a good selection of vegetarian dishes. What a great evening!
We had Easter brunch here with a party of 15 and it was great. The food was good and they even had a few Vegan options which was surprising. We will definitely be back.
After making reservations on line with what was described as limited seats available we walked in to a virtually empty place. there were 4 people in our party, 3 adults and one child. we were one of 5 tabletops in the entire place. we ordered, and it was nearly an hour before dinner hit the table, and only half at that. My meal and our 4yo granddaughters were delayed abut 10 min. so I was very surprised when our server brought mine out it was extremely cold,, not cool, but cold. the kids plate was very hot, so essentially everyone ate in shifts and it was a total of 2 1/2 hours spent on an empty restaurant. Not really sure how the food was because the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Very disappointing. We're always on the lookout for good Greek food, but this one should have been labelled "STAY AWAY". Their traditional Horitaki salad was OK, but it went downhill from there. We ordered the gyro platter which was dry and singed on the sides; it wasn't freshly cut off the spit but rather leftovers from two days ago that were charred when they reheated it. When we decided to cut our losses and ask for the check, our waitress decided to join in a dance with the other wait staff instead of bringing it to us.
Bottom line is we could have gotten a better meal at a convenience store. Don't waste your time, your money and most importantly, your appetite!
The Greek is authentic all around and a wonderful place to gather with friends or family on any occasion.
A few canned olives on a salad and call it a Greek salad just doesn't cut it.
Very windy difficult to keep fine sand off tables
Service was not the greatest, had a party of 15. After we paid the bill we stayed another 45 min to enjoy birthday cake. No waiters ever came back to clear our table, our give us plates for our cake.
We went on a Friday night to see the show and it was very entertaining, the food was really good and plenty. The service was exceptional.
Best Mediterranean food in existence. Service was prompt and we Werre there for the belly dancing show.
The chairs were plastic and the table sticky without cloth. The food especially grilled fish was not tasty. I was kind of disappointed compared to the price we paid.
New to Ventura thought we would give it a try. We came on a Saturday evening before the entertainment arrived so it was not as crowded. Sat on the patio on a brisk December evening but the outdoor heaters kept it plenty toasty - actually had to ask to turn it down. Cheesecake martini was delicious. Ordered the Olive/Feta plate - a little too much Feta but tasty. Our dinners were the Filet Mignon Souvlakia Kebobs and Gyros platter. Very generous portions - enough for lunch the next day! Wonderful food, great service!
Everything was excellent, great service, table was ready when we got there and they even sang happy birthday and brought out baklava with a candle.

Met some friends from out of town for a lunch that lasted a long time. Staff was great, food was great. We went on a Monday for lunch and it was quiet enough for us to be able to talk and hear each other. Our friends were impressed.
Delicious food, fun entertainment, excellent service and beautiful location.
The food was absolutely delicious. The only thing I didn't like was the uncomfortable plastic chairs in the outside seating area. The restaurant feels more high class than the chairs would usually be used for.

What a great place! Took the family here for dinner and they absolutely loved it. The food is always spot on and the entertainment is GREAT! My kids had great big smiles the entire night. We will be back.
We went on Labor Day so it was expected to have a wait. I did make a reservation, when we got there we were told that they got slammed and were not taking reservations at this time.
Once seated there were reserve signs on the table. We did get seated almost immediately. But had to wait 15-20 minutes to for service. When our server Brenda came to our table, she joked I am sure you have had enough time to decide what you want, so we ordered both our drinks and food. Brenda then said, I will try to be back soon with your drinks, we are busy. She was back within a couple of minutes. We ordered another drink, that we never received until our appetizer was brought out about 30 minutes later. (we had empty drinks 3 times total and had to ask for refills 6 times)The appetizer was really good. 30 minutes later we get our food, mine was cold, and my boyfriends steak was WELL done, when he requested rare. We had to flag our server down she took the steak back. She again tells us, its busy. The new one came out about 15 minutes later and the quality was awful. No flavor, and still more done than rare. He ate his food, and I picked at mine as we were hungry. I told her mine was cold and she said do you want me to take it back and warm it up? Again, she says, its busy, I am sorry. I told her no, I wasn't going to eat it. She says I will see what I can do for you with your bill. 30 minutes later still no server or bill. I go to the hostesses to tell them we were waiting for our bill. 10 minutes go by and finally Brenda shows back up, and said what can I do for you, I told her we were done and wanted the bill. She leaves comes back 10 minutes later & says that all she could do was take 25% off the bill. We do not complain, but we were extremely irritated. Asked to speak with the manager. He comped the whole bill after I explained to him our whole experience, except the appetizer since we were fine with that. Not sure we will try this place again.
Great authentic Greek food, lively atmosphere with belly dancer and traditional Greek dancing by servers. Very fun time.
Favorite Greek Restaurant in Ventura County! Authentic Greek food, love appetizers of flaming cheese, octopus salad and greek salad. All fresh, tasty.
The appetizers were great. We had the dolmas and saginaki both were excellent. The shish kabob combo plate had no flavor and the chicken kabob had a strange texture. The moussaka was okay. Go for the appitiser and skip the entrees.
The best thing was they served a decent glass of Pinot Gris. The greek salad was good, although I should have asked for the dressing on the side because the salad was swimming in it, my fault. And they do have delicious sourdough bread with salted butter and the pita with hummus (stolen off my guest's plate) was fantastic (both were a special treat for me because I don't usually eat wheat/gluten or dairy products). But my main dish (a vegan sampler) was a huge miss with everything on the plate being way too greasy and salty. My guest enjoyed the lamb chops on their plate (a hot sampler for two), but also said everything else was greasy and salty. In full disclosure, we are only occasional out-of-home diners who mostly eat organic and clean foods. We were willing to go rogue this one time for some quality Greek food, but this one missed the mark badly, and we were still feeling the yuck in our system the next day. Our server was also hard to find most of the time. He was helpful at first and did check back two times, but I had to go to the front desk to ask for my check so we could get out of there. He apparently was busy having a conversation with the bartender. Hint to server - if I am making constant eye contact with you, you should come over and see if I need something. I wasn't staring at you because I found you entertaining. Jeez. Might stop in again some time for drinks and light appetizers, or to see some belly dancing, but would be hard pressed to get me back there for a full meal. Yuck! :(
This place is a blast!! The dancing was incredible! This is one of my MOST favorite restaurants and I love to bring people here if I want to impress. Thank you!

Great food! Yet the service was terrible, it took over 40 minutes for the check after we had asked several times. There was only 3 other parties in the restaurant.
We love this place! The food is amazing. You have to try the Saganaki Flambé!! So good!! Great staff and the view is just gorgeous and serene. 🌸
Great location and atmosphere, but even through continued changes through the years they still can not get their service correct and food correct.
We had 8pm reservation and were seated fairly prompt. After seating it took about 5 minutes to get water and bread, and another 3 to have the waitress come over. We were asked if we wanted to order drinks, we did not so she was off to another table and did not give us a chance to order. Anther 5 minutes later she comes back to take our order.
One Gyro plate with a side salad before the meal and one Chicken Souvlakia Kebob Platter.
We sat end enjoyed the entertainment and it took a while but the entrees come out, no salad.
Our waitress comes over after we have well started out meal and i tell her about the salad, "oh my fault" and thats it. I also showed her that most of the chicken kabob is still RAW inside. She does apologize and asks if we wanted it replaced or would like something else. The gryo plate was greasy and not very warm, it had the feel of being in heat lamp trays waiting to be served. At this point we are just done with the experience and want to move on with the evening. The waitress does try to make it up by bring some desert for free but really too little to late.
As much as i continue to hope for this restaurant to get itself in order they continue to trip on themselves.
If you want the best in Greek food and service you need to go to Stephen's Grill in Ventura. You will not get the atmosphere but service is spot on and the food is a level above The Harbor.

We had high hopes for this restaurant given the very good reviews. I would like to say the service and food quality was poor because it was Father's Day?? The view of the Marina was lovely and they offered fun, live entertainment (belly dancers, and the waiters performed a Greek dance) but we waited almost an hour for our food (while trying to contain a 1.5 year old) and when it arrived, my fathers order was incorrect, and my food (the greek combo platter) was cold, the gyro meat was burnt and the moussaka was not fresh... tasted re-heated. Our waiter was not attentive and apologetic throughout the meal, but then overcharged us for my food. Sorry to say we will not return.
We went there for my daughters college graduation. It took over 30 minutes for anyone to come to our table and the evening took 2.5-3 hours. The food was excellent and the portions were very good. The place is very noisy, but in a good way with a lot of positive energy. The waiters spent a lot of time entertaining everyone with several activities on the dance floor. They even brought up several young people including my daughter and did some activities with them. It was very good fun. The only knock is that the service was very slow. We would go back again, but we would plan for a very long evening of fun.
