Overall, this is a good special occasion place for people who like steak. The food is great, but my husband had to send back his first steak because it was very overcooked for the way her ordered it. They made another one pretty quickly, and the second one was done correctly.

The service was excellent, the food very good. We felt it is very pricey because everything is individually priced. All of us chose the smallest cut of meat because we can no longer eat a 20oz piece of meat. Wish there had been more options in that regard.

This is clearly not an inexpensive restaurant, but the food is outstanding and worth the cost. The steaks are very good and do not leave without having the Butter Cake, it is perhaps the best desert I have ever had. I would return just for that!

I had high hopes & was disappointed. It was my birthday & after trying to contact them for over 2 weeks with no one ever answering the phone I called the casino. I wanted them to know my food allergies & that it was my birthday. 1st thing delivered to my table! What I have a food allergy for! Not a good look. Things just got worse… My Caesar salad was so loaded with cheese I could not eat it 😅. My friends onion soup had little to no cheese 😅 All the sauces for steaks have gluten which I’m allergic & they have been told this several times now & yet my steak is delivered with two sauces. 🤪 The asparagus was mushy & the mashed potatoes tasted fake 🤪 Left without looking at the desert menu because why even bother? Not what you want on your birthday to have happen. The service was not equal to the high cost of the food making it a night I’d rather forget which is the opposite of what it should have been. Sad but honest review.

Our busser, Jonathan, was very sweet and accommodating. Joe, our server was very attentive without hovering. And of course the food was top notch. The seafood platter was plenty for our appetite that day so we ordered sides and left room for my FAVORITE dessert.. butter cake.

Not like the past where I had a filet mignon that I could cut with a fork. Quality has gone down. Was looking for an experience that we had a few years ago and we were sorely disappointed. There were kids that were noisy, etc. Service okay but not outstanding. The quality of the steak was poor, not worth the $50.00 we paid for it. Won't come back again.

Dinner was great! We had the pork chops and Caesar salad added chicken to it. They were able to split the salad for two and we at the pork chop with our salads. Perfect, just right, not too heavy.

The Great Oak is adjacent to the casino, but the atmosphere in the restaurant was quiet and elegant. There is an excellent selection of steaks and seafood dishes. The wine list is not huge, but there were quality selections at all price points. We were seated promptly and served delicious bread to enjoy while we made our selections. The service was attentive without being overbearing. My wife had the 8 oz Filet Mignon which was cooked perfectly to her instructions and absolutely delicious. However, my 20 oz Bone-In Rib Eye was ordered medium rare, but arrived medium to medium+ with the center completely dry. For the first time in a long long time, I sent my steak back, explaining that this was in no way medium rare. Our server handled this very smoothly, and ordered a new steak which arrived after a reasonable cooking time. I have to say that even this second steak was cooked a bit beyond my ideal, but it tasted good. We will dine at The Great Oak again on future visits to Pechanga, but I will likely order my steak rare next time.

This is my favorite restaurant in Temecula. The beef and lamb are excellent. On our anniversary, however, we ordered a seafood "bucket" as an appetizer that was disappointing. The crab and lobster, in particular, were tasteless and rubbery. I won't order the shellfish on future visits.

Always an amazing experience at Great Oak! The meal is perfect every time, I have never experienced this level of consistency in any restaurant we visit regularly. The service is amazing, they make your meal one to remember! Our favorite server is Rika, she remembers everything we love and makes us feel so special, that is why we will be back again and again.
