The Grape Ratings and Reviews
We brought our sister in law who was visiting from San Diego for brunch. We had heard so many great things about The Grape and their famous burger. I started with the mushroom soup which was amazing! Husband had the burger and we both agreed it's best burger we've had since we moved to Dallas last year. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. The shrimp were very good, however, the grits were bland and cold :(. We will be back for sure!
Grape is one of the "go to" places we love and are always excited about returning for the food and service for which we can always count on for being special. it is warm, cozy and inviting with wonderful staff and dependably good food. It is one of our favorite places in Dallas and I would encourage anyone who wants a good meal, good service and "homey atmosphere" to try.
First time back in many years. Very good menu selection and service. We unfortunately were seated in the enclosed patio. I would not recommend due to excessive street noise and reverberant acoustics. Well priced selections although in the outside experience and hard patio furnishings.....I would expect better. Stay indoors and the food / ambiance will not disappoint.
The Grape has been my favorite restaurant since the early 1990's. We don't get to go to often (quite a drive from our house) but when we do get there, it never disappoints, ever. The food is delicious, the service is spot on, the wait staff are friendly, helpful, never have to wait on anything.
The food was perfect, the atmosphere cozy, and The Grape was perfect for the ocassion, which was New Year's Eve dinner. This was our second time to dine at The Grape for New Year's Eve. It always manages to wow us each time with scrumptious appetizers, mouthwatering main courses, and delectable desserts. All this and the professional wait staff make the experience memorable.
The food was exquisite as always. The mushrooms soup is amazing and everything else was first rate. We had reservations for outdoor seating on a bitter cold night, but the staff made every effort to keep us warm and comfortable.
Great food, great service, and great ambiance. What else could you ask for?
We absolutely LOVE Brian and Courtney Luscher’s place! We went tonight for Christmas Eve dinner as we have for the last 6-7 years. Each and every employee is inviting, courteous and friendly. The food is delicious-cheese plate, Courtney’s salad, pasta, scallops, short ribs, crepe brûlée....all amazing! Thank you, guys, for another special Christmas Eve dinner!
While the menu no longer contained the Ox-Tail and hash entree that was recommended for Sunday brunch, the chilaquiles were quite delicious. My friend had the Haystack, which was also tasty. We will definitely return. We have to, we need to try the reportedly amazing burgers!
