The food was excellent. The service attentive but not intrusive. The atmosphere cozy and intimate. We loved everything about this place. We will definitely be back.
Great for date night. Great people watching.
Good happy hour and great food and service as usual. been coming for awhile but the bar smells old and whole place really needs a food clean and sprucing up.
Amazed by everything about this place. Restaurant has an intimate, but fun feel. The service was fantastic. We went for our anniversary and everyone wished us a happy one. Food was wonderful. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a great place to take your significant other out.
Outstanding! Excellent everything!
5 stars all around
Always a fantastic experience!! The food and service are always spot on. Outstanding recommendation from our server with regards to a wine selection. Have been coming to The Grape for 20+ years and it never disappoints!
This was our first visit to The Grape. We enjoyed the food and service was good. We will be sure to go again.
Mushroom soup excellent! Lamb chop excellent taste a little tough. Salmon excllent.
The Grape never disappoints. It’s always good! Food is excellent. Service is impeccable.
The service was great very nice and helpful with menu option and details. Very clean and intimate atmosphere. We got the baked brie and Braised Lamb Tartines for appetizer. Our table ordered Day boat dry scallops ( cooked perfect), Coal Miners pasta (lovely sauce), and Bistro steak frites ( so tender and buttery). Desert topped of the fantastic meal with Lemon Hot Buttered Rum cake ( everyone's favorite) and Dark chocolate terrine ( good but not as good as everything else). Defiantly going back very soon!!!!
Amazing as always
Consistently great food, drinks, and service. They do not have off nights!
There is a reason why The Grape has been in Dallas as long as it has - it just never disappoints. The atmosphere is intimate and warm, the service is superb, and the food is always delicious. It isn’t an innovative menu, in my opinion, but when you want to gather with friends and catch up on life and enjoy good food and nice conversation, you won’t go wrong.
Food was actually quite delicious and our waitress was great but we were there about 15 minutes early and were made to sit at the bar which we are happy to do. It took the bartender almost 10 minutes to acknowledge us and get us a drink even though there were only two other people sitting at the bar. The hostess was not very accommodating either.
Great dinner-Would have been better if meal for my wife had been done correctly-Asked for no meat, came with meat. At last her meal arrived and we enjoyed our dinner. Waitress offered a free dessert for the error. we were OK with everything up to this point. Ordered dessert and a cappuccino. We shared the dessert. The check was dropped off and still no coffee. Asked to have that removed from check. I usually tip 20%, but not this time. Told the waitress how disappointed I was with her service, didn't feel like talking with the manager ,so left.
Great place for special occasions. The staff/chef made our Anniversary perfect!
We come here every year for my fiancé’s birthday! He’s obsessed with the mushroom soup and we always get the steak and fries!
Best Burgers in Town in a wonderfully authentic French cafe type setting!! Excellent
We had a lovely dinner! Great service and the food and wine was very, very good! The Grape is a special place for a special occasion! Can't wait to return.
Great food and average service. The food is fresh and stands out - scallops are particularly tasty. However, the service left much to be desired. Felt intimidated by not being a wine expert and server did not try to help.
We haven't been here in years and a friend of ours wanted to try it. It use to be a nice place for food and service. I was very disappointed in the food. I ordered the salmon and it came on top of mash potatoes. The wine was less to be desired. Very disappointed when you bring a friend that wanted to try it. The food was not what we expected from a place that calls it self a French restaurant.
Great dinner with family.
Family friendly restaurant with a good wait staff, wine list, and menu. Valet parking is a plus.
As always, the culinary and service experience at The Grape is wonderful.
Consistently great food in a fun, cozy, upbeat Lower Greenville bistro. Great wine list too.
This was the best meal I've had in Dallas in the last 18 months. My girlfriend and I sat outside near the street, it was very comfortable even though it was warm outside the tented seating area. Services was strong and the food was just incredible. We'll be back immediately.
Upon entering this unassuming establishment, we were seated by the owner Courtney and taken care of by Jeremy, who were both very attentive and catered to our needs. The restaurant has a rustic vibe and I like that it is a bit smaller. Everything we ordered was outstanding. The mushroom soup is an absolute must try and we also had the grilled artichoke, braised lamb tartines and steak frites. We paired our dinner with the northstar merlot which was very smooth and the perfect complement to all of our entrees.. I will definitely be looking for this wine in the future! Unfortunately we were too full for dessert but will have to try the next time we're in. Would definitely recommend this place.
Outstanding dining experience! Intimate seating, world-class french cuisine, and service that rivals traditional $$$$$ restaurants but at $$$ prices. Really enjoyed our evening here.
The Grape has great ambiance. I’ve been dining there for years. The service is always wonderful.
The Grape was a fantastic, quaint, and quiet restaurant for our anniversary. The food was very good and our server was excellent! I only wish there was a little more choice on the menu. They had a sign on the table that noted that it was our anniversary which was a nice touch! Overall, our experience was great!
Great food and atmosphere
Reliable, never a bad dish, skill of the wait staff fluctuates
Had the Burger that is only available on Sunday and Monday. Sad that they discontinued their brunch as it was actually really good food!
Great service, food always good. I tried the scallops this time and they were delicious. Nice atmosphere always.
We all completely enjoyed our evening and dinner at The Grape. Our server was prompt and helped us make great decisions for our main course selections. The food was delicious ( as it always has been for us.)
Our friends and my wife used to go to The Grape on a regular basis but traffic and other silly excuses had gotten in the way so we said let’s just go and have a great time so we did.
The Grape is truly a Dallas institution. The food is fantastic and the wine list is great as well. Top notch service and the atmosphere has a "home" sort of feeling to it. My only complaint would be our table. Our party was for 2, so the table was small and felt very cramped. I was practically touching the seat of the gentleman behind me. If you have at least a party of four, you should be in good shape.
Birthday dinner was a mazung
Food was excellent. The server did not seem pleased to be working there and annoyed by questions about the menu. Ambiance was great and would go back.
