The valet was backed up to the street. I arrived on time for my reservation but still had to wait about 6 minutes to be seated. There was no waiting area so we waited in the doorway with others. It was very crowded. We were sat at a small table that was very close to another table. Even the people at the other table commented on how close we were seated. The waiter did not bother to ask if we had been there before (we had not) and he made no food or drink recommendations. We asked about the blintzes but he did not really sell us on anything. We had the blintzes, pull apart cinnamon roll, haystack and Belgium waffle. All of our food was savory and delicious! Especially the blintzes. My dining experience was not the best but the food more than made up for it. I would definitely go back! The drinks are priced higher than other brunch spots on lower Greenville but the food is worth it.
Had a wonderful brunch. Wanted to try the famous hamburger
Very relaxed and fun environment. Food was absolutely delicious and staff was very friendly.
One of my favorite restaurants and has been since it opened in the 70s. Consistently great food & service. 4 stars!
Very good service; team work by wait staff was very good. Great food and wine suggestions
This was such a great find for my husband and I. The Grape is a small and intimate little restaurant with a wonderful wine selection and even better food. It's definitely a special occasion spot but worth giving a try on your next date night.
Great for food and wine.
Space is tight.
Servers are EXCELLENT
Consistently high quality food with a relaxed atmosphere.
It’s been many years since we have done sat the grape and very happy to see that it continues to age well my rib eye steak I had
Fabulous from start to finish! Wait staff very attentive, food and wine absolutely delicious, entire experience memorable--
A cozy, quaint, and romantic restaurant. The food was very well-done and like any great restaurant, the portions were just right. The service was exceptional as well. We will definitely be returning!
one word, Awesome!
A little tight but not too loud. I was still sitting about a foot and a half from the table next to us though so it was almost like we were sitting together to the couple next to us. The food is absolutely astounding and blew me away. However, dinner with wine on Valentine’s Day ended up being an equivalent tab to if we had just gone to one of the higher end steak houses where we wouldn’t have been elbow to elbow with other tables. I expected more of a formal setting for the price but that’s on me, just go casual because you’ll be more comfortable. The food is undeniably amazing to the point that management should think about upgrading the restaurant site.
Good food but ambience and space was quiet cramped and run down.
A lovely valentine's dinner with choices of salad, entree and delicious desserts! A wine pairing was also offered which was nice too.
Our Valentine's Day dinner on the patio at The Grape was magical. Heavenly grapefruit salad with winter greens, slivers of carrot and beet and candied hazelnuts. The tournedos had so much flavor and were cooked perfectly. We loved the lemon cheesecake and chocolate tart with raspberries. The Grape hummed with good service, outstanding wine selections and incredible food. Courtney, one of the owners, meets you at the door with a welcoming smile--even if Dallas traffic made you a bit late. Reminded us of a Parisian bistro--but we're lucky enough to have this gem in Dallas. We've been going here since the 1980s for a special meal or brunch.
I've been going to the Grape for many years. This was my first time in probably a year. I took my GF for Valentines Day. It was a fixed menu with wine pairing. While the food was of high quality and taste, the portions were extremely small for the price comparatively. I don't say this very often, but my most favorite part of the meal was dessert.
Great food and service. It's one of our new go to places to dine.
The Grape is among my top 5 favorite restaurants. Considering longevity, probably #1. No other place I know has made me happy every time I visited over.a 40 year range. Well, make that #1. I have been to snootier places. But the Grape always makes me happy I came.
Service seemed to be a "bit off" the night we were there. Wait staff not quite as attentive.
Always great food - service just a bit so-so.
The Grape never disappoints. The menu is varied - beef, pork, chicken, duck, seafood, pasta, soups, salads, sides, great wine list. It literally has something for everyone. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable and the service is attentive and friendly. I love that this place is owned by a husband and wife team who are always there, working, friendly and talented. One of the best restaurant's in Dallas!
I go every couple of years and it always provides great food and service.
Went on a Monday night to enjoy the burger! So delicious. Service was great. Really enjoy dining here!
We were at the Grape to celebrate a birthday. We showed up too early to be seated at once for dinner but everyone made us feel welcome until the dining area opened. Taylor served us and did an excellent job. What a nice quiet atmosphere and what delicious food. The birthday celebration was a smashing success!
A Dallas favorite for decades never disappoints. Open on Sundays.
We had a great experience. Wonderful food, drinks and ambiance. Our server was delightful and the owner came over to check on our table.
However we made a reservation through Open Table instead of calling the restaurant. There was a mix up and we ended up getting seated much later then our reservation was for. So next time if I use Open Table I will call and verify my reservation with the Grape before arrival.
We will be back and I would highly recommend the Grape, they handle the reservation mix up fantastically.
Good service. Great food. Best duck confit ever.
Great food. Great service. Get staple on Greenville.
We've been there 4 times, all for anniversary dinners. It is the absolute BEST place we've been (besides Hawaii) OUTSTANDING!!
Didn’t turn in our ticket and ended up having to take our food to go. Did comp our meal though, which was a nice gesture.
Megan provided great service and was very knowledgeable. We have been coming to the Grape for 20 years. Food is always outstanding.
Loved the atmosphere and the food was awesome. The service was spot on.
A favorite for many years; had an opportunity to share the experience to two friends that are new to Dallas. We had brunch and it was a wonderful overall experience; really attentive service - despite being packed with every table full!
Our server was very attentive and the food was excellent!
It is good. Nothing special. If you have no where better to go, try this.
We’ve been coming to Dallas for 40 years, and just now found The Grape! We had the best evening. Great food and a wonderful girls night out.
Loved the baked Brie. My scollops were delicious. We love this place.
The service is par to none and the ambiance is quite nice. The appetizers and dinner were delicious and although we were seated quite close to others, we felt like it actually felt very private. It is a quaint dinner place and one not to miss in Dallas.
Calamari was excellent! Very friendly, efficient service!
