Outdoor seating is on the sidewalk or in a structure on the street. Unfortunately the street itself is not level, making the experience of sitting in metal chairs a little off kilter. The menu is limited and surprisingly expensive for the area. It wasn't easy to find something each of us in our party of 4 adults wanted to eat. Service was pleasant if slow. The party at the adjacent table was very, very loud, and sometimes hearing each other over the traffic, including the adjacent bus stop, and other customers was a challenge. I think I'd go back, but I may check out the menu before reserving again.
Very beautiful setting and delicious food! Would definitely revisit
My friend and I had a great time here! The service was impeccable!
Honestly my fave restaurant in Manhattan. The service and the food are both absolutely amazing.
Very nice. Will return. Recommended restaurant. Enjoy!
Food was great. Service was a bit slow but almost certainly due to short staff.
Had dinner here to celebrate my son’s birthday, recommended by a friend. It was a very quiet Sunday evening, only a few other occupied tables besides us. All Covid protocols were followed (checking vax status, temp, etc.). I had the short rib ravioli, my son had a burger. The food was good, fairly quick service.
We had a very friendly and attentive server. Our order took a long time to arrive - and we were comped for our beverages because we waited for so long. Nevertheless we were having a good time and didn't mind the wait.
The food was quite good. The mushroom papardelle was a bit on the salty side (though the house made pasta that accompanied the sauce was wonderful).
Harlem Grange does not disappoint, my family and I can always go and there is something for everyone. As a vegetarian there are several options.
Food is always great! Our server, Vladimir was amazing. He is very friendly, very attentive and accommodating.
The food was delicious, and the staff is remarkable. It truly is the best staff in NYC.
Great neighborhood find- excellent food and service.
The food and service were both excellent. The food is a little pricy for the neighborhood it’s in, but we’ll worth it. You might have a homeless person or two ask you for money if you sit outside, but other than that the restaurant is 5 stars across the board. Recommendations: Broccolini and focaccia for an appetizer and the short rib ravioli as the main course. I’ll definitely be going back.
Delicious brunch! The portion control plates was nice since it was midday. I don't know if it's the same for dinner but I plan to find out. Of course there's the occasional noise from an ambulance but that's to be expected in Manhattan. Overall a good & enjoyable experience.
The Grange is a must for fine dining experiences in Sacramento. Always wonderful menu items, very well presented and served. A wonderful staff attentive to details.
Great brunch, food was really good. Would like a few more options. Service was great as always
The staff is amazing here. Dining in the street however was so noisy and seemed dangerous at times. I would recommend a sidewalk table over the covered area in the street. Also with the plexiglass, air could not move so we were quite warm. Food was good and again, service was great.
We both had the short rib, truly excellent. The lobster burrata was delicious, and I always enjoy the fresh focaccia.
Nicw outdoor ambience.I did noy
tgo inside.Food was okay, not exceptional. They charge a credit
card fee which informs
uou on the checkout!
The restaurant has been a bit hit or miss since it's reopened. We came once for dinner and wasn't wowed, and then tried for brunch and it was good enough.
We had the pasta carbonara and it was delicious.
We were given a gift certificate to come pre changeover, so we were using our gift certificate.
The maitre’d, waitress and manager were very nice. My cornish hen (Grange devil chicken) was raw inside. One of my guest’s had a lamb burger — raw inside and crumbly so could not eat as a burger. Short rib ravioli had nice flavor but the thick part of the ravioli where the two sides were pressed together was hard — again I think undercooked. Sent the raw hen back because was afraid to eat it — it came back hot on the outside and still raw inside. Weird and kinda ruined the whole meal for everyone at that point.
The drinks and food were amazing. Def sit at the bar to get the full experience and menu. I highly recommend the Cornish Hen and the lamb burger.
Delicious! Every meal was wonderful. Great drinks and service was slow but intentionally so tables could enjoy their time. Outstanding-looking forward to returning when we visit our daughter!!
It was my first time and it was awesome. Couldn't have been more happier. Very rustic and spacious. Food was great you can taste the flavor of the ceviche, Lamb burger, and mushroom pappardelle. Looking forward to coming again.
The former menu was better. The cauliflower dish ($30) was just a chunk of cauliflower not cooked very well, virtually raw in the center. The burgers are very sloppy. It was great, now it is overpriced and so so. The expensive items on the menu are ambitious, but the prior simpler menu was easier for them to properly execute. They had the best veggie burger in the city, now that is gone!
Great dinner, fantastic service.
Always excellent. A little pricier than before, but the quality of food and drink is so high that it feels worth it.
New chef. New menu. A little pricier. I miss the truffle fries and the bone marrow. The dishes were beautifully plated ... more emphasis on presentation. Steak tartare unusual but excellent... not the classic. The short rib ravioli were outstanding. Ceviche was a beautiful dish and delicious. Beet salad also gorgeous and very good. The ribeye was ample and tasty but served on a rimless cutting board so you need a napkin at the ready to keep the jus from running into your lap. A little sparse on the dessert front.. only two choices ... tried the blueberry cheesecake... just ok. Our server was sweet and attentive. I like this place.
Absolutely delicious. Will definitely be coming back again.
This was my 3rd time having dinner here and it is always excellent. The food is delicious and interesting. The service is friendly and professional.
We had a wonderful experience at The Grange. The Hostess was very thoughtful and perceptive. The wait staff was efficient but friendly without being intrusive. The food was creatively presented and tasted delicious .I would come back again and again. I will highly recommend The Grange to my family and friends.
the food was delicious and the drinks were tasty. a few dishes were a bit pricey considering the portion but overall it was a great experience and i will definitely return.
I really don't like to leave negative feedback but the new menu at The Grange is such a departure and disappointment from its pre pandemic life. I don't understand the menu at all, the food was not good, the flavors were bizarre, everything was trying too hard, the burgers were way over done with ingredients even the most basic, and the prices are insane for Hamilton Heights. Chicken is $30? Burgers are $20+? There was nothing to snack on except $7 fries if you're just wanted a quick bite. The service, although our waitress was doing amazing job trying to please us, was very very slow for the price point. I fear that the regulars will all come back exactly once and stop going. I loved this place and the food before and it's a sad day realizing it is going to remain a memory for most.
Food was fresh and well presented. Great cocktails too.
Indoor amd outdoor seating, a bit noisy as expected, given its locale.
Gourmet-class food, drinks, and service, consistently, with chef-shopper specials.
A repeat venue for us.
Tim, our waiter twice, a first-rate table host.
Lovely experience, the restaurant is beautiful. The cocktails were amazing and the waitress was nice and accommodating. The food was ok, the short ribs were too fatty and the short rib ravioli was to salty.
Very disappointing experience overall - not sure if this is a permanent problem.
One of my go-to spots in Hamilton Heights. perfect for a date night or a celebration.
Unfortunately, my chicken was raw and I had to send it back. It took a while to receive new chicken and my friends food got cold in the meantime.
The food was amazing and the experience was excellent. I will definitely be going back.
