Is this a restaurant or a sports bar? Located in the Holiday Inn near the airport (I had to research to find it - no signage that I could see on the outside of the building) and decorated with several flat screens tuned to MLB and NBA, the dining room/bar was deserted when we were there on a Friday afternoon. Remained so through our visit. Food was OK but the NY Strip was surprisingly thin for $22 and overcooked and the salmon was also a bit dry. Fresh cut potato chips were good. Maybe they should stick with a bar menu.
While traveling, we stopped at the Grand Valley Grill for dinner. The server was wonderful- attentive, intelligent, and kind. We ordered simple things- a burger, a caesar salad. The potato chips were homemade, the burger was excellent, as was the salad. It's nice to find a little gem while you are on the road.
Va Lynda was exceptional with her service. She suggested the Jalapeño Poppers as a starter and they lived up to it in heat content!!.The main dish unfortunately was lacking. The carrots were raw and not even hot as was the mashed potatoes on my chicken entree. I will give them a second chance only because the service provided made the difference.
