Amazing! What a sweet little gem here in Cincinnati! If you haven’t been to the Golden Lamb, do yourself a HUGE favor and go. The history in itself is a worth the experience.
We LOVED our waitress. So sweet and kind. She did a great job. Very personable!!
Nice job.......very tasty food
My husband and I each had a different omelette for brunch. Both were just ok. The potatoes seemed as if they were made earlier, just thrown on the grill to reheat, and browned. The biscuit did not seem freshly baked. On the other hand, one of our friends had the fried chicken that was very good. I guess we ordered the wrong thing. Live and learn. We will go back again.
Great place to eat! Excellent food, but expensive. This place is the ideal spot for a date
Mark the server was amazing. Great knowledge and service.
We had dinner and breakfast at the Golden Lamb. Both were delicious and huge portions, more than we could eat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and hope to return myself.
I loved the Early American atmosphere, the attentive staff, the historical significance of the Golden Lamb and the very delicious house salad. It is the best salad I ever tasted in my life plus the basil tomato soup which was very tasty. Would highly recommend this restaurant and plan to come back in the near future.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner on Easter Sunday. Not always sure what to expect on a holiday, but our dining experience at the Golden Lamb was exceptional. The lamb shank and beef tenderloin dinners were extremely tender and the potatoes and vegetable were delicious.
Service was good. The food was good, however, I feel the portions were small. Rolls were delicious, the condiments were very small. Great atmosphere.
We attended on Easter Sunday as a group of 8. Five adults and three teens. They had the Easter Bunny making rounds, live farm animals too. We had a great time. The food was great. Service was excellent. Would do it again!
We wanted to surprise our daughters on Easter and arranged for the boyfriends to bring them to lunch. Even on a super busy Easter Sunday, the staff seated my wife and I early and watched for and signaled when our daughters arrived. The lunch only got better with 5-Star food AND service!
A very enjoyable Easter brunch, as always. The fried chicken is fantastic.
We had a wonderful Easter brunch here. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious!
The kids like to tour the upstairs after we eat
We had a great meal. Staff was quick to greet us, quick to take the meal order and amazingly fast to set plates in front of us. The fried chicken is always amazing succulent. An altogether satisfying experience.
Always wonderful service and food. My granddaughter loved the experience and looking into the rooms. She also enjoyed the gift shop as do I.
I took my mother and two of her friends for a weekday lunch - they are elderly with some mobility issues. The staff was accommodating, friendly and patient. Lunch was relaxed and delicious. A great place for conversation; all four of us had a terrific time and are anxious to return.
My wife and I had a very relaxing early dinner. We enjoy the restored historic setting. Our waitress was great. The food was second to none. What more could we want?
The service was slow. The food was OK but definitely not worth the price. The ambiance is good and the restaurant has an important history. I liked the gift shop but I like to shop.
Very good food and excellent service! Went for my mother’s 83rd Birthday and she loved it.
The Golden Lamb’s food is back to the glory days of fresh, lively and well done. Love it
Great food; great historical place to eat. Great for a special occasion or simply good conversation over good food.
I have been to Lebanon several times but never dined at Golden Lamb. Recently decided to make the drive for a fried chicken special that they had. The chicken was some of the best I had. The Service was great as well.
The food was very simple country for but extremely flavorful. Wonderful appetizers! Great food, great experience.
Been here many times for special occasions but now that we live within 20 minutes have started going more often. Casual place with delicious food . The menu is a little smaller but everything is good. After you eat, take a walk around the old Inn and discover some amazing history. A great gift shop too.
1/2 price chicken dinner occasion. Lamb always exceeds expectations, across the board. Worth the 40 minute drive to Lebanon occasionally.
Food just not very hot, chicken was hot! Love the special but should of included the salad!
We usually go on the weekend but thought we would try the half price chicken special on Wednesday. The food and service were excellent as usual. Our waitress was attentive without being overbearing.
What can I say other than, "SUPERB!" Cannot wait to go back
The portion size of the pork tenderloin is very small. It arrived on a small plate and only had sweet potatoes with it, no veggie. The prime rib was very good. Nice portion size and was served with mashed potatoes and a vegetable.
Overall food was good, service was subpar from what I would expect although server apologized profusely. Took 10 minutes for shrimp cocktail appetizer and prime rib ordered medium rare bordered on rare. Salad not served before dinner. Very expensive vs. value received.
Had their "Mushroom Veggie Cobbler" and it was superb! Appreciate that items are truly home made. Sauerkraut balls and Sugar Pie was excellent as well.
The Golden Lamb is like an old friend that you feel totally comfortable with and are always happy to see. Wonderful historic decor and ambience in a pretty historic town. Food is always excellent. Not fancy, but very well cooked and plenty of it at a reasonable price. The fried chicken and lamb's shank are our particular favorites. Service is very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We've been there for dinner and, this time, for lunch and all visits have been consistently good. Particularly suitable for older folks, but young couples will find romantic niches and families will also enjoy the larger tables facing the street. Upstairs are named private dining rooms and bedrooms dedicated to the famous visitors who stopped there when it was a coaching inn. I'm originally from England and the Golden Lamb has all the charm of the British country pubs I now mostly just dream about, but with better food.
Business meal with friends, who are also customers. Food was fantastic, as was the service.
Chicken dinner was average in taste. Wednesday was advertised as half off chicken dinner, however did not include the salad. On the regular menu the salad was included. Is it half off the chicken dinner or is it half off the chicken dinner less the salad.?
Out of town friends were visiting, wanted a quiet, casual lunch with great food. GOT IT!!
The husband ordered burger/fries. After first taste of the fries, he announced: These are
THE best fries I have ever had!
Bread pudding is offered at any number of restaurants. However, caramelized apple bread pudding is deliciously unique at Golden Lamb.
We have always loved eating at the Golden Lamb. The food is great and the staff is friendly. It's nice taking in all the history that goes with the building. The one draw back is the prices are a little too high.
We had a wonder full time walking around Lebanon, visiting the museum and have lunch at the golden lamb. Love it. Can’t wait to go back!
Saturday brunch, very nice, excellent food and service.
