The Golden Lamb is a wonderful gem that is a treat to visit. From the history of the Inn itself to the solid food and drink, the experience is reason to visit and we are never disappointed. In todays day of so many chain restaurants that serve much of the same regardless of where they are located, the Golden Lamb sets themselves apart in so many positive ways.
This has always been one of my favorite places. Now I share it with my children. Historical and fun.
Our tradition is to attend the evening Lebanon Carriage Parade that is always excellent. This year we followed the parade with dinner at The Golden Lamb. We understand that this day is a very busy one for the Lamb but the buns were hard, the ravioli uneatable and the chicken dry and tasteless (KFC would have been preferred, scary). After dining at the Lamb for years this will most likely be our last trip unless we learn that there's a new chef.
The service was outstanding and the food was amazing! An unforgettable experience for me, my young children, and our family. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas and we were met with good hospitality and a warm inviting atmosphere.
We always love coming to the Golden Lamb; however, we can only afford it several times a year and we always love to come on the Carriage Parade evening with all of the festive lights and atmosphere. Thank you for making another year a memorable one. Happy Holidays!

Hello, have been coming to dine before parade for 4 years. Love it everytime. I was a little disappointed because we had to dine upstairs. My friend has knee problems and barely was able to do steps. Next time I will ask for main floor.

Food is always fantastic with a very attentive and professional wait staff. Got us right in and no waiting to get our order taken, food was there fast which is amazing given how busy they were on the horse-drawn carriage festival day. We love eating there - the place is lovely!
Always enjoy dining at the Golden Lamb. Our waiter was very attentive; food (turkey dinner and fried chicken) - very good! Love the ambience of the Golden Lamb.
The food and atmosphere was outstanding. The beef was very tender. The salads were wonderful.
So enjoyed our lunch Saturday the December 7th. Even though it was so busy we got excellent service. The food was delicious, hot and serve in a good time frame. Love coming to the Golden Lamb for special occasions, wish we lived closer so we could come more often. Thank you and keep up the wonderful tradition.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, from the young woman who engaged in a conversation as she was escorting us to our table, the personable and experienced waitress who shared her joy with being able to enjoy christmas with her two grandchildren was a delight in welcoming us back after 19 years. the server who diligently delivered our meal with grace was a young man who we would easily hope to have at our table again. the dicken carolers even serenaded us with my favorite christmas carol. nothing could have been any more savored and enjoyed for a meal here on earth. thank you for being a part of our memories at the golden lamb.
The soups are all great. Give them a try with any meal.
our server forgot service instructions on what we wanted served and when. and she entirely got my order wrong and i never did receive my kings onion soup. it would be hard to recommend the golden lamb to my cincinnati friends when i spent way too much time trying to get proper attentive service.

We took our friends to The Golden Lamb to celebrate. All of us wound up ordering their fried chicken and we all were members of the clean plate club :) The mashed potatoes were tasty and their vegetables were outstanding in texture, taste, and presentation. What a splendid evening topped off with desserts that pleased us all.

The food, service , and ambiance was beyond expectations. The gift shop was an additional treat.
The food was average so not worth the drive from Cincinnati. The bread pudding was dense so not my favorite.
We made our reservation thru open table and called the day before to confirm. When we called we asked to add 2 adults to our reservation...somehow this didn’t happen and we had to sit in the bar (with 3 little kids) to eat what was supposed to otherwise be a special meal. Not the end of the world but certainly not what we expected.

A holiday tradition for our family. Fried chicken is perfect and we all live the sauerkraut balls.
The server was not attentive to our needs. The salmon dinner was overpriced for what was on the plate--no salad, only salmon on a small serving of couscous. One of the chicken dinners was incorrect. We ordered 2 thighs and received 2 legs instead.
Ambience, service and experience are all excellent. The food is really good but you may or may not find it is worth the price.
Almost nothing for vegetarians & definitely nothing for vegans. This could be an easy fix. Great atmosphere still makes for a fun lunch, despite the lack of food options.
Our party was there for Birthday / Thanksgiving celebration.
We enjoyed ourselves very much. Service was warm and friendly from the moment we arrived.
And as always the food was delicious. We mentioned our Birthday guest and was even given a card and dessert.
We were extremely happy with our visit can't wait to visit again.

Food did not live up to the hype... I was looking forward to going here and drive 45 minutes to reach the location. My Dad loves history so I thought this place was going to hit home. I think I miss ordered. I got the Salmon... sweet and way over cooked. I make better salmon at home. My wife got the “smoked” pork chop— tough dry and again over cooked. This place reminds me of crappy food I used to eat in the 90s... just not acceptable in today’s environment. I will say the steak my father ordered was delicious and well cooked. 1 out of 4....
We enjoyed our Black Friday lunch. We always enjoy our visits and our weekend getaways. The staff is so professional yet personable. The food couldn’t be better!

My wife and myself had the turkey dinner,we felt as if the turkey was a turkey roll and not fresh real turkey,the dressing was dry with very little gravey, the portions of vegetables was very small,we feel like our stomachs have been up set since the dinner.

What a great place! For ambiance and food on your plate you can't beat it. They have a nice new bar
with friendly help. Dining tables are spaced nicely--not your typical New York up tightness. You can
have a conversation with your seatmates without having to raise your voice. Now let's talk about the
food: well prepared and lots of it. Whatever else you choose to order, don't miss the soup. Every year
it is different and always really good. The Golden Lamb should be a dining destination--it is well worth
the trip.
We had reservations for Thanksgiving dinner. We were seated immediately. Our server was very attentive and the food was great. They had a fixed price menu with 3 options, but perfect for Thanksgiving. I had the turkey and my husband had the beef. The third was a vegetarian option. We went home with leftovers and pie.
The Golden Lamb has such ambience. We also went to the gift shop which has been renovated along with the tavern and deck. It will be a nice place to visit in the summer

The Golden Lamb is one of our special/favorite restaurants. Their Thanksgiving dinner is always delicious. Service was excellent, as usual, and their new "lift" for my sister's wheelchair was expertly operated by one of the kind hostesses and assistant managers.

Oh sooooo good!!! Best turkey I ever ate! Waitress was pleasant and very efficient. The holiday decorations were beautiful. Overall experience was wonderful!

Ambience was homey, and holiday festive. Thanksgiving traditional dinner was perfect! Had the creamy onion soup, garnished with bleu cheese and housemade buttery croutons. Wonderful! Perfect Bloody Mary. Freshly baked rolls and biscuits served with cream butter, apple butter and a wonderful bacon jam. Meal was perfectly timed, so we never felt rushed. Definitely coming back.
