Fun spot with a trendy menu. The brussel sprouts and brown butter tuna were fabulous! Entree was good, but not exceptional. For sure a good choice for a relaxed, fun evening.

Food eccellent, service very good. I wouln't consider this restaurent for a cozy dinner-ambience a little too cold & stark; no secluded spots for privacy. Music more club oriented, too intrusive for quiet conversation & not conducive to enjoying intimate ocassions.

I always enjoy the food, drink and atmosphere of the Gladly. I like to introduce people to it. A friend was in town visiting and had never heard of it. She enjoyed it!

It is bright and lively without being too noisy. Great for business meals

My first time dining at The Gladly. Easy to find with ample, complimentary parking. I took a friend for his belated birthday dinner. He had the dish of the day; Grouper. I had my first taste of scallops. We both enjoyed the food. The Gladly is dimly lit, inside, but we chose to eat outside. After our main course, we opted for dessert. Unfortunately, The Gladly only had two dessert options! That aspect of the menu does need to be elevated. My friend ordered dessert but I opted for not due to the lack of selection. All in all, a good night for us.

Went there for Easter Brunch. Even though a busy holiday event, the food and service was top quality. Eric, the server, was great at describing the options and made it a very relaxing time to enjoy the meal. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Phoenix.

The Gladly was a great dining experience!

Our Server was excellent! She made great recommendations which we followed. The scallops were huge and delicious, sauteed to perfection. Our server also brought over the carved ice for my cocktail and it was really cool to witness the ice being formed into a perfect sphere, crystal clear ice.

I cannot wait to go back and work my way through the menu!

The food took an hour, a look around the restaurant revealed most tables had no food on them. After finding the waiter hiding in the back, I asked about the delay. He said a large party had ordered and they had pushed their orders in front of ours. 60% of our orders were salads so it's unclear as to why they couldn't serve us in under an hour.

Usually love The Gladly. I think the food has gone downhill just a bit. The patio was lovely, the service was fine, but the food just didn’t have the panache in taste, texture, presentation or creativity that it had previously. If The Gladly doesn’t step it up just a bit, it will start to suffer as there are increasingly more options to choose from.

We enjoy the food, however the restaurant doesn’t match the food. This feels more like a nice sports bar. I can’t put my finger on it?? It’s just Not fancy.

Had a great dinner with friends on a golf trip. Really nice room with a laid back vibe. Food was very good. My dinner mates said the scallops were among the best they've had. The duck meatloaf had interesting flavor but I found it a bit on the dry side. Wine list was limited but reasonable. Would definitely go again.

Really excellent menu and service. Overall ambience is okay, but my one complaint was the noise level - with a party of six it was impossible to carry on a conversation when the place got crowded. Still many kudos to the chef and owners on a pretty unique dining experience. Love the whiskey/whisky selection and presentation. Had the seafood chowder and Faroe Island Salmon, and both were perfect! My wife had the scallops and loved them too. I'd recommend this place, though perhaps try a lunch instead of dinner if you are bothered by the din of too much noise.

We had a wonderful meal and time at The Gladly. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious! Our server gave us great recommendations for where else to eat while we were in town and they were equally delicious! The whiskey list and craft cocktails were thoughtful and interesting. Overall a great dining experience.

Selected this restaurant to host local Phoenix clients, and always tricky to select the right restaurant for locals when you're actually from out of town. Deserves the good reviews, and hits most of the right marks. A bit loud for a business dinner, but did not interfere with our conversation. Every dish ordered was well prepared and tasty, and it seemed we ordered about everything - brussels sprouts were excellent, burrata was equally good, rock shrimp was good not great, lobster fondue was good (but overwhelmed by the cheese and bread, but who doesn't like cheesy bread?:), and my salmon main dish was really well prepared; bit overcooked, but in the big picture, well done and tasted great. Wine list extremely limited, but lucked upon the No Girls Syrah from Washington state...a lovely wine. I was very appreciative that the Sommelier (?, maybe maitre d'?) immediately corrected the server by taking the bottle away from him to make sure it was properly decanted, as it definitely needed to be. Nice mix of speciality cocktails as well, some clever drinks. Service was always friendly and timely. Would happily return to the restaurant.

Another typical night at The Gladly. Great food, excellent attentive service without being overbearing and drinks that are crafted. Arrive early to beat the early evening sounds of people coming in from a day of work and needing to be heard. Definitely a place to dine on a regular basis.

Fun, hip restaurant. Amazing food. It was very very loud at prime dinner time. The seats by the door get a little chilly when the door is open. Our server was extremely slow. So slow that the hostess checked on us when she noticed us staring around looking for the server. Saw another table turn over 3 times while we were there. It was pretty frustrating. Even paying the bill took 15 minutes and when she brought it back, it had someone else’s receipt and credit card in it.

Delicious but slow. Food lives up the the hype.
