Always a stylish, delicious place for dinner. The menu seemed a little smaller than last time, though.
Dinner was fantastic! Great service and great food
I had a great time it the Gladly. We celebrated .
So happy we chose The Gladly for dinner with friends. The service was incredible, ambiance/vibe fantastic, and the food absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to return!
Great food (the chopped salad is excellent along with the Burrata and our entrees)! Great service! We celebrated our anniversary and they treated us to a desert! Enjoyed our meal together!
The food was outstanding, the staff was polite, and the ambience curated a perfect environment for a dinner with friends.
Fantastic service and the food was amazing. Bartenders are outstanding!
I can't say enough about my experience at the Gladly. The ambience, food and staff are all amazing. I would highly recommend The Gladly for your next outing. You won't be disappointed.
Delicious food and great service! Terry, our server, was awesome!
Not as good as in the past but still yummy. Service was very hospitable and they are doing a great job with distancing the tables (which is great because it was not as noisy as usual).
Their chopped salad is the best! Quick service great for lunch.
Our server was fantastic. Seriously made the time wonderful. I'm glad we had his section
Service was amazing, the food wasn't worth it, it tasted bland wouldn't come back because of the food not because of the service.
Try the steak salad; the marinated tenderloin is outstanding. As is the chocolate pot de creme--made fresh at the restaurant. My Old Fashioned was delightful, and all four of us completely enjoyed our meal.
Shea was a welcoming & attentive server.
The original chopped salad was as good as ever, & the restaurant provided a yummy birthday dessert.
Altogether, a wonderful lunch experience.
We love this restaurant!
The gladly is always a favorite! Daniel and the rest of the staff are kind, personable and on it (attentive) with anything that we needed during our visit. 12/10 recommend!
Excellent experience. My family and went for restaurant week. Nice selection of entrees. I started with the original chopped salad. Best chopped salad in AZ. Next was the salmon that was cooked perfectly with a slightly crisp top over creamy mashed potatoes with a heavenly sauce and roasted Brussel sprouts. Then came the bread pudding that was really delicious. Reminded me of French toast. My aunt got the steak salad which looked really good. She's typically not much of an eater but she ate every bite. Server was top notch gave up details on wine selection and super friendly. On a scale from 1 to 10 I would give it a 10
Had a fantastic time. Service experience was good and food was great.
Very much enjoyed my birthday dinner with my mom. We had a lovely time and the food was great.
My friend and I ordered the restaurant week features, and they were all delicious, especially the chopped salad, which was the best chopped salad I have ever had. For our entree, we both had the chimmichurri chicken, which was also fantastic. The sauce was especially flavorful. We both loved the whiskey bread pudding for dessert - I don't normally like bread pudding, but this one was excellent, largely due to the nice custardy texture. Also, it wasn't cloyingly sweet. We sat at the bar, which was a fun, laid back atmosphere. I sampled "That One Drink," and let's just say that I did not stop at one. It was a very tasty, refreshing drink. The service was excellent -the bar staff was extremely personable and accommodating. I will definitely be back!
Went during restaurant week did an opportunity to try out their menu. They give you a full size entree with half sized appetizer and dessert. I tried the short ribs and they were fabulous! Probably the best I've ever had. Service was ok but not stellar. Charged full price for a refill on a lemonade after waiting quite a while to get.
Overall, one of my favorite dining spots because they hit all the marks. I can count on everything always being good when I go there.
Great spot for a happy hour with an excellent selection of well prepared cocktails and appetizers.
The Gladly is my favourite restaurant in Phoenix. Exquisite food, vast whiskey selection and a welcoming environment. They even had a Happy Birthday card waiting for me at our table! I live in New York City and always come to The Gladly when I visit. An absolute must.
Chicken sandwich didn't have much flavor. The aioli sauce was pretty tasteless. The short ribs were overcooked. The atmosphere is nothing special. The tables could been found in a much less expensive restaurant. I guess this is a popular restaurant but I don't know why. I won't be back.
Great Service Great food. Staff wears masks and tables properly distanced. Great experience.
Love the Gladly!! Food was amazing and the service was great.
Food and service were awesome. Only complaint is that we went to the Gladly to try the restaurant week meal. But were told after arrival that the restaurant week meal is not served during lunch. Restrictions were not listed anywhere during the reservation process. The manager did apologize and gave us a free dessert, which we appreciated. We have never been disappointed with the Gladly and will still return in the future.
I actually believe the miscommunication was in the restaurant week ad, so will now check more carefully before making a reservation.
The food here is always consistently good and they have an amazing whisky selection. For a restaurant with food this good and drinks this exceptional, it continues to surprise me that the chairs and tables look and feel like they were sourced from Ikea. One of the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever sat in to enjoy such a fine meal. It’s the reason why I don’t dine there as often as I would like. They are as uncomfortable as they are unattractive.
I’d go back everyday for that chopped salad!! Delicious.
We went for restaurant week and truly enjoyed everything we ordered plus the cocktails were fabulous.
Outdoor space is a bit lackluster.
Excellent food and great service and interesting drinks.
Had not been to The Gladly in quite a while, decided to try it again for Restaurant Week. Beautiful night, sat outside. Service was good although slow at times. Food was good with excellent options for Restaurant Week although dessert was not that inspiring.
Wine choices were limited and expensive.
Overall positive experience.
Amazing as always! We moved to east Mesa and we make the drive out here regularly, for the noble bread, oysters, chopped salad, and some of their specials! Never have we been dissatisfied.
Visited while getting to know the gastronomic offerings in Phoenix during restaurant week, overall very happy with selections, nice ambiance, desserts could have being much better …great service by our lovely waiter Lia and my favorite part was probably how clean the place felt and looked , I will definitely visit again
Shea is a great waiter - friendly, helpful, good sense of humor, good advice on wines.
Patio was great other than the hot weather looming, but great atmosphere!
Waiting times for food were long. Food was good though
We love The Gladly. They were busy so service was a little slower than normal. The patio chairs aren't very comfortable (no arms). Food was great, and server was fun to talk with!
Shea and Allison (Dr. to Be) were an awesome team.
My friend was visiting the Gladly for the 1st time and Shea did an excellent job of reviewing the menu and making sure it was a wonderful experience for her.
Thank you, Shea. Stephany
