The noise level was VERY loud. Everything else was good/great but difficult to carry on a conversation.
This was our first visit here as it is quite a trip from our house. My wife was needing her Original Chopped Salad fix as it has been quite a while since we had enjoyed it. Was NOT disappointed at all! Loved the ambiance of the restaurant and watching the interactions of the bartenders and their guests. They all seemed to know each other and that was impressive. The food was outstanding - the best filet I have had in a long while. We will be back! (and THAT means something since it is a 30 mile trip!) Thank you.
Server was so nice! Happy Hour is good value!
Three of us girls had our Christmas luncheon here, first time for all of us. We had great service and the place is comfortable. Our biggest complaint was that the food was very bland. Without going into too much detail, even the aïoli for the chicken sandwich was less flavorful than plain mayonnaise-needed lemon, or something. I mentioned our feelings about the food to our waitress, and the manager showed up shortly stating he had taken a round of drinks off our tab. We thought that was pretty cool and left us with a better opinion of the place. Oh, and the daily special sandwich (tomato, basil, cheese, balsamic) was really good!
The filet was perfect, and the service superb. Nice ambiance. First time we had tried this and will definitely come back. PLUS, it was my birthday, and they comped us a delicious dessert. Yes!
Great food portions for the price. Drink menu was great and service was very accommodating and helpful.
As always..... the best.
Nice restaurant, food above average. Had rock shrimp appetizer--tasty, a little salty. Beef ribs great.
Got noisier as evening went on, seating somewhat close. Outside seating would have been better, but didn't see any heat lamps.
Service quick and good.
Always great food and service!! We keep coming back time and time again... the Chopped Salad is a must!!
Very good food best appetizers in town!
We are on the patio
It was a beautiful night and a great waiter with personality plus
The food was outstanding
Love the Gladly. Food was amazing. Service is perfected.
Outstanding as usual. Ice balls are great with Blanton’s. Filet and duck meat loaf are my favorites along with the chopped salad.
The food and service at the Gladly were both good. The restaurant is pretty and modern and the outside patio looked beautiful (even though our party was inside). But, the noise level inside the restaurant was almost painfully high. We were at The Gladly on a Friday night so maybe that was the noisiest night.
Loved the ambiance. Food was great and Tim was a great server. Definitely recommend
the food is always excellent and the service was perfect.
Our first visit to the Gladly was a hit; the fondue was great; the wedge salad is one of the best we ever had, my scallops were good (but only 3) while my wife enjoyed the spare ribs and our daughters both enjoyed their filets; and the lemon/blueberry pie capped off a great meal! Service was excellent - we did not feel rushed and plenty of space and the tables are not on top of each other - we will be back.
Note: Wine list is a bit lacking; more of a cocktail & whiskey establishment.
Took a friend to dinner for her birthday. Service was great and nice comfortable booth. Split the roasted brussel sprouts. Great. And then finished with the crab cakes. Meal was well prepared. Nice wine offerings and attentive service. Would return if I was in Phoenix again.
We were celebrating Moms 74th birthday. Thank you for the wonderful evening
Just happened upon this place thru Open Table as we had a long day traveling to Phoenix. It was walking distance from our hotel which was a plus! Wine was good. Wait staff was awesome--very helpful and friendly. Very attentive. Food was excellent. We were going to go back there on Sunday night but they were closed for a private event. Would highly recommend the Gladly.
Ask for Collin!! He’s the best!!!
In Phoenix for work and asked my Lyft driver if he had any great restaurants he could recommend. The Glady was his immediate response and it was DELISH!!
We were at The Gladly on the night of October 26 for an anniversary party/dinner. The steak and scallops were so excellent that we returned less than a week later for an early dinner. We ordered the same fare and the quality was the same, totally excellent. We live in Sun City Festival which is over an hours drive. Every aspect of this restaurant is well worth the drive.
Always really good food and the chopped salad is a must try.
Shay is an excellent server. Very attentive and my guest had never been there and he explained his entrée choice very well.
Everything was wonderful and our server Colin was exceptional! Thank you very much!
We sat outside as it was a lovely night. Everything was wonderful!
The food was great and made more enjoyable by all the wait staff, especially Zach who had plenty of food/wine knowledge that he willingly shared with us.
Celebrating friends birthday. Everything was wonderful. Will definitely return.
It was a lovely evening at The Gladly. I came from out of town for the chopped salad that I love and was treated to a delicious meal!! The service was impeccable and the atmosphere on the patio was l beautiful.
Our party enjoyed the wagyu beef special, the filet and the fish tacos. The salad of course was divine and the fondue appetizer was wonderful. No room for dessert.
While The Gladly is typically a noisy spot for dinner our business lunch was perfect. Got a great table with a view of the whole space as well as outside. It was busy, but not overly so and it was easy to have a meeting over lunch. The food, as always, was terrific.
Food was great. Service was great. Drink choices were great. A little pricey but worth it. Only thing I didn’t like was the actual location. It’s in the first floor of an office building and not very close to any other bars/restaurants.
The Gladly is a favorite of ours that is always improving. The setting is nice despite being right on Camelback. Lots of parking and a gorgeous (pretty quiet) patio. The restaurant can be a bit cold and loud but is really a nice setting and beautifully decorated. The bartender is great so try the mixed cocktails...something for everyone here and they do a great job. The food...wow! Meatloaf, Scallops, Salmon...can be pricey but I've always felt they make it worthwhile. Try the classic Gladly chopped salad - it never gets old! We had a puffer fish appetizer that was a special and fantastic..poor little fish but really great! The short ribs are spectacular and last visit I had the Cheese burger which was WOW!
Overall it's a great spot for a great meal.
I pass the restaurant when walking and have always wanted to try it since it looks so nice. Finally got the chance and wasn’t disappointed. Service was extremely. Our server was friendly and attentive. Food was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and nice portion size. Drinks were very good and were described well on the menu. Will go back again.
Service was great , ambiance too loud , food ok
Easily my favorite go-to in Phoenix. Great whiskey list, amazing cocktails and food to die for from start to finish. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!
Server was excellent
Food was good but not great
The layout and vibe was not at all what we expected
Probably won’t return with so many amazing choices in Phoenix and Scottsdale
