We made reservations for our anniversary. The atmosphere was wonderful. The service and food were amazing.
Meh ! Not very good food . Pretty ex
The service was prompt and courteous, table was ready for us. The scallops were fantastic and so was the filet mignon. Both cocktails were delicious. A little limited on the desserts but the bread pudding was good.
They serve one of the best Manhattan cocktails in Phoenix. And while they are a great spot for lunch, their dinner entrees are excellent. At my last visit their special was a New York strip steak that I ordered rare and was prepared perfectly.
Not so impressed this visit as at previous visits except with our server Shea who was outstanding.
Spouse ordered the Chopped Salad which he'd been craving for a while, & I decided to try the crab cakes starter which was quite different than expected. Sometimes creativity just doesn't work with certain foods, & this was one time it didn't. We were also very disappointed that the Chocolate Pot de Creme was no longer offered for dessert.
Noise level was such that we now know not to return on a Friday evening - wa-a-y too loud.
Famous Facebook salad was awesome. Service was timely and friendly. I plan to return again
This place doesn’t disappoint! Can hardly wait to return.
I like this resturaunt. The food is great. I love their options. We came late and got kind of ignored by our waiter. When he did show up, he was really nice. He was just invisible most of the time. There was a smelly, homeless, demented woman camped outside the resturaunt in view of our table. She came in and was one of the bathrooms stalls for a long time when I went In to use the restroom. I told the staff about it. I’m not sure what they should have done, but it was unappetizing to me and the other patrons.
We had a great time at dinner here. Service was prompt and friendly, and everybody loved what they ate and drank. Would definitely come back again!
Loved it. Will return soon
Oh my gosh fabulous evening for our table of 6 at the Gladly. It was our first time eating there and it won’t be our last. Our waiter Shea was absolutely fabulous and gave us a great dining experience during restaurant week.
Great food and service. Everyone in our party of 4 was very happy.
Very nice menu for AZ Restaurant Week! Excellent service and the food quality was very good. Excellent value for a three-course meal! We sat indoors and the noise level was quite high due to all the hard surfaces. They had a very nice large patio too. Parking was validated by Gladly’s. A very enjoyable evening with our friends!
Our server was very personable and attentive to our table. The food was creatively prepared and served in a timely manner. The restaurant was full of people and a little loud. At times, it was difficult to carry on a conversation. All in all, the Gladly was a place we would return to and recommend to our friends.
Great atmosphere and service. Signature chop salad was delish but short ribs where dry.
My server and serving staff were very attentive. The menu and pricing point for Arizona restaurant week was a very good value and selection.
The food was just okay. The drinks were just okay too. There are better restaurants nearby with better quality food and drinks.
We dined at The Gladly to participate in Arizona Restaurant Week. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The food selections were varied and offered something for every taste. The ambiance was nice but it was a bit louder than we expected from all the conversations. We will be coming back to enjoy another meal in the future!
Nice menu for Restaurant Week. Great Old Fashioned cocktails. Service was excellent - we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
Very nice Restaurant Week menu, excellent service, and a lovely time on the patio.
The food is always amazing. They have great cocktails and the service is top notch.
excellent restaurant week menu includes their well know chopped salad, delicious scallops.
Took my friend for her birthday but no one acknowledged it
First time dining at The Gladly and I’m already looking forward to another meal there.
We were able to join for restaurant week. The food was delicious and they even helped us celebrate our friend's wedding with a free dessert. They were very accommodating in letting us get seated early and even split the bill for each of us.
Modern atmosphere, great food and great selection of bourbons.
The food was very top quality. It is definitely a place to go on a special occasion. For the price you pay the portions are not large, but the quality and taste very phenomenal. Everyone at the table raved about the Thai Margaritas. I would definitely go back.
Wonderful food and an amazing assortment of whiskeys. I've never had anything but a lovely time at The Gladly, and this visit was no different. Service is friendly and attentive, and the staff are admirably knowledgeable about both the food and the drink menus. Tip: order an ice ball if you get one of their best whiskeys, it minimizes surface melt and puts just the right amount of water in to crack the flavors perfectly.
Wonderful staff and food
The food was great!! There is zero ambiance, it’s like being in a cafeteria and just as loud; would not return for this reason. Unfortunate, so much could be done with the space and removing the school desk chairs.
Incredibly slow service. Our bottle of wine was gone before the entrée was served… And we don’t drink wine that fast! It really wasn’t that busy. Not sure if they were short of help, but service was really slow.
I could tell that our waiter was frustrated by it all. He did a great job!
Love their food and great whiskey bar. Brussel sprouts are a must!
This was our first visit and we enjoyed it. The food was delicious. So "glad" we discovered it through AZ Restaurant Week..We'll definitely be back!
We joined another couple at The Gladly and everyone loved their meal. Had several appetizers ( our favorite was the shrimp and crispy grits special) and shared the chopped salad. The short rib dinner was a hit and the vegi platter was loaded so high we ended up taking a lot home. We will go back for sure.
Server was good but overall service was slower than expected.
The service was attentive, but the kitchen was a bit slow. There was a longer than typical lag between starters and entree's, so they may have been a bit backed up and it was only 6p. We had the shrimp & grits and crudo as starters and they were both very good. My Old Fashioned was very good and my wife thought her Moscow Mule was solid. My wife had the filet and I had the NY strip special that night. They were both very well prepared at perfect medium rare, even for such thick cuts. At some point, if you've had one good steak, you've had them all. So they were in line with expectations. We aren't dying to get back, but overall, it was a solid meal.
Yummy! Great vibe.
I reserved a table for friends to celebrate a long-time friend and colleague who is moving to Maui. From the moment you walk into The Gladly, you experience VIP service. The hostess was warm and welcoming, watching for my approach to the front door so she could open it and greet me. Our server was extremely knowledgeable regarding the menu (both food and beverages), and was able to give thoughtful recommendations throughout our evening. Lovely special touch: a custom message awaiting our friend who is headed to island life, wishing her the best in her new adventure.
A first-class experience which will bring me back again and again.
Thank you, Gladly team! You are the REAL VIPs.
