We enjoy the food, however the restaurant doesn’t match the food. This feels more like a nice sports bar. I can’t put my finger on it?? It’s just Not fancy.
Excellent food, great cocktails, and super service.
Exceptional, as usual. It was a very special way to spend my birthday.
We requested outdoor seating, which we got. Food & service was incredible. A great dining experience.
This time the Chopped Salad was our entree. Excellent as always.
Service was wonderful, Brussel sprouts with sweet corn grits are AMAZING! Wish I had room for desert.
Great food great service ‼️Always incredible fresh oysters ‼️
Amazing food and atmosphere.
Very good lunch spot on Camelback
Had a great dinner with friends on a golf trip. Really nice room with a laid back vibe. Food was very good. My dinner mates said the scallops were among the best they've had. The duck meatloaf had interesting flavor but I found it a bit on the dry side. Wine list was limited but reasonable. Would definitely go again.
Great meal and service. As usual, it was a busy dinner service so it was pretty loud and could be challenging to hear each other but overall a great experience.
Really excellent menu and service. Overall ambience is okay, but my one complaint was the noise level - with a party of six it was impossible to carry on a conversation when the place got crowded. Still many kudos to the chef and owners on a pretty unique dining experience. Love the whiskey/whisky selection and presentation. Had the seafood chowder and Faroe Island Salmon, and both were perfect! My wife had the scallops and loved them too. I'd recommend this place, though perhaps try a lunch instead of dinner if you are bothered by the din of too much noise.
We had a wonderful meal and time at The Gladly. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious! Our server gave us great recommendations for where else to eat while we were in town and they were equally delicious! The whiskey list and craft cocktails were thoughtful and interesting. Overall a great dining experience.
Great restaurant in the Biltmore area. Never disappoints!
We both had the famous chopped salad which was great. Just the right size for lunch.
I love that it has free parking.
Great food, great drinks, great service. Will most definitely be back!
Selected this restaurant to host local Phoenix clients, and always tricky to select the right restaurant for locals when you're actually from out of town. Deserves the good reviews, and hits most of the right marks. A bit loud for a business dinner, but did not interfere with our conversation. Every dish ordered was well prepared and tasty, and it seemed we ordered about everything - brussels sprouts were excellent, burrata was equally good, rock shrimp was good not great, lobster fondue was good (but overwhelmed by the cheese and bread, but who doesn't like cheesy bread?:), and my salmon main dish was really well prepared; bit overcooked, but in the big picture, well done and tasted great. Wine list extremely limited, but lucked upon the No Girls Syrah from Washington state...a lovely wine. I was very appreciative that the Sommelier (?, maybe maitre d'?) immediately corrected the server by taking the bottle away from him to make sure it was properly decanted, as it definitely needed to be. Nice mix of speciality cocktails as well, some clever drinks. Service was always friendly and timely. Would happily return to the restaurant.
Always wonderful - consistently great food and service.
I’ve always enjoyed this spot for a relaxed, yet upscale experience. Good food, clean and quiet atmosphere and laid back efficient service.
Another typical night at The Gladly. Great food, excellent attentive service without being overbearing and drinks that are crafted. Arrive early to beat the early evening sounds of people coming in from a day of work and needing to be heard. Definitely a place to dine on a regular basis.
We had a wonderful birthday dinner. My husband loved his special dessert. We loved the chopped salad.
Fun, hip restaurant. Amazing food. It was very very loud at prime dinner time. The seats by the door get a little chilly when the door is open. Our server was extremely slow. So slow that the hostess checked on us when she noticed us staring around looking for the server. Saw another table turn over 3 times while we were there. It was pretty frustrating. Even paying the bill took 15 minutes and when she brought it back, it had someone else’s receipt and credit card in it.
Delicious but slow. Food lives up the the hype.
❤️ it alwaz!
I like the restaurant because they have the traditional chopped salad! That’s me and my girlfriend’s favorite appetizer. The waitress is helpful and serve us well! The only thing I don’t really agree with them is that they one small bottle of soda and no refills. But it’s expected for a restaurant like this! I’ll go back next time for sure.
Made a reservation for Valentine’s Day, showed up a bit early and was seated immediately. Our waiter was very helpful and provided some much needed guidance on drinks as well as food. Very quick service, but not in a rushing manner. I will definitely be coming back
Food was good but not nearly worth the $130.00 which didn’t include alcohol. Go to Hilstone down the street. Much more food in regards to portion size, better service and for a better overall experience.
Great cocktails . Highly recommend the Cigarette and Coffee cocktail.
Our server was awful. Came once to take our order and once to drop the check. Food was poorly timed. The risotto was so hard and bland we asked to have it removed from our bill. I ordered a beer, it came out with our entrees. We ran out of water and no one ever refilled us. We ordered two of the chopped salads, they always ask if we’d like them tossed. They offered everyone around us but dropped ours and left. Never asked if we needed anything else. No one ever check to see how our food was. It was a terrible experience $98.00 before tip for 3 people. I’d expect better service from a restaurant like The Gladly.
All the way from the attentive service that we received walking in the door to the exquisite menu, I would highly recommend the Gladly. They have figured out how to get so many menu items just right. My spouse had a burger that was beautiful and not so a huge patty of meat. I had the grilled veggies and red rice, which was one of the best that I have had. Put this place on your list of Phoenix destinations.
everything artfully prepared, generous portions, best selection of whiskeys anywhere
I had been here before for restaurant week and was looking forward to coming back for a full dinner. One of the most fun things is getting a cocktail and having them put ice into their ice press and watching them make a perfectly round clear iceball for your cocktail. I highly recommend that. I was disappointed with their oysters, but my wife liked them. The main courses were pretty weak. My wife's poke was one of the least impressive we have tasted. Everyone has poke now, so it should be easy to put together a good poke dish. I've had better poke dishes at fast food places for half the price. The fish tacos were ok. The bread pudding was very good for dessert. The waitstaff was very friendly and did a great job.
Absolutely amazing and worth your time and reasources. Going back ASAP
Cool place. Had their signature chopped salad , it was excellent and presentation very creative. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
Excellent wait staff, very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent and reasonable price.
Great cocktails and filet mignon, but noisy.
The lunch menu is limited. There are only 3 or 4 Salad Entrees. My companion and I both ordered the Chopped Salad.....the table-side presentation was uninspired, unattractive, and unnecessary. The tasted fine, but looked like what it was.....a bunch of vegetables, chopped in VERY small pieces, tossed in dressing and plopped into a bowl. Not appealing to the eye. No mention or offer of bread or rolls to accompany the salad. Dessert was the savior of the meal....Salted Caramel Creme Brûlée. Excellent. (However, our waiter brought our check before even asking if we were interested in Dessert. We were! Note to waiter: Never assume. (Other than that hiccup, he was very delightful.)
I took my lady here for her birthday dinner, and we could not have been more impressed from start to finish.
Delicious! Simply delicios
Seated immediately, great staff and service. Make sure you have them prepare an ice sphere for your drink. Perfect chill and great entertainment.
