Fabulous atmosphere and great service!
Excellent service fantastic ambiance and great seating .
My parents and I went for a special afternoon tea. It was a wonderful tea, and at a good price (very comparable to the other teas that are out there). The waiters were really great at helping us, refilling our tea, and offering us extra food if needed.
Food was exceptionally mediocre. Service was good, but nothing special. You pay a premium for the ambiance. Ultimately, the quality is not worth the cost. The Fairmont could and should do better.
The Georgian Room is always elegant. It's a great spot for Afternoon Tea, cozy and classic. It transports you back to days gone by of the finer things in life. It's a perfect place to visit with your friends over tea or celebrate a special occasion. My sister and I made a pact to return once a year as a new tradition with our daughters.
The afternoon tea service was tasty with lots of variety. Service was great and they were so kind to my 4-year-old.
Timoteo & Jorge were great servers.
Service was excellent as usual. The beautiful dining room lends itself to easy conversation among guests. Our lunch among friends was very pleasant.
Today the food was just average. My Caesar salad was good although overdressed. Croutons were crispy. The plentiful shrimp were extremely bland. My friends' meals needed seasoning. '
The wonderful crispy bread was served with yummy salted butter and honey. Fabulous!
Overall a mixed review of the food.
Lovely setting for afternoon tea. Service was very attentive. The tea sandwiches and scones were excellent. The desserts were not quite as good. All in all it was a very nice girls outing.
Fantastic experience! High tea was delicious and the service incredible!
We had a lovely special baby shower for a friend. Food was fantastic and the servers went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable experience. Great job!
Excellent service as usual. Room is the most lovely room in Seattle and the food is fresh and beautifully presented.
We have always loved the Georgian Room. Disappointed that the Restaurant is no longer open for dinner. This was our choice for celebrating Birthdays, Anniversaries and before or after going to a play. Georgian Room is romantic and service is top notch. It is the most amazing room and dinning is exquisite and food of course is 5 Star. Highly recommend The Georgian Room.
Lunch on a beautifully sunny Seattle day, pre 5th Ave Theater matinee. Majestic setting and delicious food. Our server brought us their wonderful house made honey for our tea and bread. Bravo!
My kids didn’t like the desserts much. Sandwiches are good. We really loved the tea and purchased a bag of loose leaf tea.
Tea service was very nice, the food was subpar for tea at the Fairmont. We did not care for any of the sandwiches.
We enjoyed afternoon tea at the Georgian. Although it was a bit pricey, the food and service were on par. It was a special experience for sure.
Excellent environment and ambience for a special occasion or quiet indulgence.
We went for afternoon to celebrate our Valentine’s Day. It was absolutely lovely! The service was wonderful. However, I will say, as tea drinkers, we don’t exactly agree with their tea service. They put the loose tea leaves in the pot and a strainer over your cup as you pour. Unfortunately, this created a bitter cup of tea for my boyfriend after his second pour. I had a white tea, so it wasn’t too noticeable. Overall, a very enjoyable luxury to indulge in for a romantic afternoon.
The tea was nice, however, at the end of our meal and visit, one waiter began changing linens and setting up tables near us - stacking glasses and silverware right behind my friend's chair...
quite rude and distracting, especially that the room was not even half full of guests, so NO need to rush into set-ups ! I had asked for a birthday acknowledgement, and that came as we were preparing to leave. The waiters were polite but not especially attentive.
We had high tea and were very disappointed in the food. We were expecting a traditional English tea. Instead the sandwiches were more of a middle eastern flavor. We were full but not satisfied. We wish we would have have ordered off you regular lunch menu. Sincerely John Becker
While the Georgian restaurant is beautiful and the tea offering was wonderful, one of my tea companions was in a wheelchair and the Olympic Hotel, to my shock, is not friendly to the disabled. She had to be taken through the back hallways and onto the service elevator to reach the restaurant and taken back out the same way. The restrooms for the restaurant are on another floor with only staircase access. If there had been an emergency we would have had to carry her out. I was disappointed and saddened.
Although the service was very good, when I arrived I found that my wheelchaired companion had been put at the worst table in the room and that seemed disrespectful to me. I will say that they did change the table at my request without a lot of backchat.
We loved our breakfast here. The food was wonderful, and the service was even better. We will be definitely be back the next time we are in Seattle.
We are a group of four women who celebrate birthdays by going to The Georgian for breakfast. While it's a bit pricey, the service and ambiance are outstanding.
Great place with good service. Only wish is that they would validate parking for guests.
Had a wonderful meal at the Georgian Tea Room. My daughter and I were in town, enjoying Christmas in Seattle and visiting friends; we had a lovely brunch here, food was excellent, value was great - can't wait to come back!
It’s great, however don’t bother bringing a child. We were charged $39 for them to make my 4 year old a half of a PB&J. That part was completely ridiculous and I felt leaving slightly fleeced.
It’s such a fantastic place for party of 2-4 people to have fine dining
horrible service , even worse on Saturday have to call water several times for refill, coffee..., but place- so beautiful-wish they have dinners again-need new manager
It was pretty delightful for the most part even though our server seemed to struggle knowing what he was serving and getting back with us on requests.
The Georgian is a beautiful venue, with consistently delicious foods and gracious, professional wait staff. This time of year (mid-Nov) it’s even a lovelier time to visit because of the beautiful holiday trees in the lobby. The ambience is excellent and adds to the feeling of being someplace special.
the food is not fresh.
service was very good
not worthy anyway
Very nice place to do high tea. A little more pricey and I expected but the ambiance and our server Jorge was very helpful and funny
We celebrated a birthday with high tea
High tea was disappointing, with mediocre quality of tea sandwiches and sweets, not to mention the selections were limited. The only saving grace was the ambiance however the parking options were limited and very expensive.
The lights were way too bright. Not much ambience. My BLT had not much bacon. It was too quiet.
Best corn beef hash ever! The eggs Benedict are pretty amazing too!
Very nice lunch. Salmon was excellent and well prepared. Service on point
Elegant setting. Superior staff and service. The afternoon tea is a little pricey ($50) but worth every penny. You pick the tea you'd like then it comes with a 3 tier tray of goodies (scones, sandwiches, and desert bites) which were all delicious! This would be a great thing to do with friends or a mom/grandmother/mother in law. It was a wonderful experience all around.
