Food was delicious and priced fairly. We had a table of seven for a birthday. They forgot several items, brought our entrees out at different times, confused the two risotto’s and one was vegetarian but they had them trade even though a few bites were taken. They forgot one entree all together. Offered a free desert but never discounted the bill for the risotto mix up. We usually love Halls and the waitress was friendly but this was a cluster.

Overall our experience was great. Staff was very attentive, food was excellent. A little pricey but fair for a nice evening out. We were seated next to a very loud group which took away from the fine dining experience.

Excellent food and service. Main dining room is a bit noisy, but not intolerable. Seared tuna salad was very tasty. My adult grandson enjoyed his meal and the turtle cheesecake.

Steaks are prepared properly to order. Salad greens were iceberg lettuce. Sweet potato soufflé was very good. Server did a great job, but AC was too cool for a 50 degree night outside.

The food was fantastic- ordered my steak medium but it came out rare. I tried it and it tasted amazing, even if it wasn’t what I was expecting. My wife got the chicken sandwich (be warned it’s massive!!) and she loved it as well. Our waitress seemed rather absent even though it wasn’t the busiest but we didn’t wait too long for our order to be taken or for refills so it wasn’t too bad.

Easy to recommend to a friend or family - the food was flavorful and hot - did I mention fast too? My wife and I split the yellowfin tuna app (YUM) and I had the Delmonico steak (amazing) and she enjoyed an amazing salad (not sure which one - they offer a few. We arrived at 5:00 and by 6:00 it was packed - two thumbs ups

We're from Grand Rapids, MI and had other things going on this weekend in a town nearby in Ohio. Decided to celebrate our 45th Wedding Anniversary at Gas House and were not disappointed. Helped that we had made dinner reservations days in advance. Service was excellent, food was good and prices comparable to other fine dining. Only draw back was lack of packing.

We were celebrating our 25th wedding aniversity ,,,,,they seated in the small window seat to make it special just the two of us but it was too tight and we asked to move they were more than accomidating to make our evening special. The dinner was not rushed and the food was great. We dined early so the restaurant was very quiet....and our server had lots of time to take care of us.......very wonderful evening. Thank you Gas House

What a wonderful dinner in the "Anniversary Window". The Gas House is one of our favorite restaurants in Fort Wayne because we can always count on the quality of the food. The crab cakes are the best we have found in Fort Wayne. Service is always on target no matter how busy and the prices have continued to be reasonable. Thank you, Gas House employees for our wonderful 61st anniversary dinner with you!

This was our 50th wedding anniversary dinner celebration. We have been going to the gas house since we were in high school, and came to the gas house for prom dinner with a group. So alot of memories here. Really miss salad bar. That was best in Fort Wayne. I miss the cheese ball and crackers which was given complementary to each table back in the 1980s. Also no longer serving baked potatoes. Those just went with a steak. And always served with butter and sour cream. Those should come back;but the quality of food is still superb 👍

It certainly wasn't the Gas House I remember. It was like the restaurant was cut in half and the other half was a Japanese restaurant. No ambience The food was ok but nothing special. It did come out in a timely manner and the waitress was fine.

We sat next to a high energy table with three toddlers running around everywhere. The food was excellent as always and the waitress was awesome. Just don’t sit people next to a disaster table like that anymore if you can help it.

The food was excellent. We started with appetizers (Spinach-Artichoke dip and shrimp cocktail) and had drinks from the bar. The Pinot Noir was not to my taste (to each their own), the Pinot Grigio was very good (both house selections). Our entrees were prepared correctly and were very delicious. We will definitely go back to the Gas House in the future.
