everything was great aside from the fact that it took us 25 minutes to have a server come over to us at the beginning just to get water and drink orders other than that was fantastic. food great and the server was a attentive the rest of the night.
It always feels like coming back home...Food is good, prices are fair for the Valley and staff is wonderful .

The teriyaki tuna was exceptional. Good pours, lots of people enjoying a good restaurant.
Great ambiance, decor. Delmonico steak was excellent, prime rib was good. Gumbo, Sweet potato souffle and baked Mac and cheese were so good we could come back for these. Lunchtime on Saturday was fairly empty around 3. We will be back again!
The past couple of time we have visited the gas house has been very disappointing. I'm happy to say this time ...well what a turn around. Food, staff all great. Prime rib and fish hot and very good. Very enjoyable. Staff was very fast and efficient. Live music enjoyable. Although they need to replace some of the booth seats, no padding and you almost fall into the booth seat which is interesting to get out of. :)
Were seated quickly arriving at 6pm, knowledgeable and friendly waiter, loved the spring greens salad, the filet melted in my mouth and the souffled sweet potato tasted like a dessert!!!
Food was great, ambiance was nice and prices were very reasonable.
We come here every year for our anniversary and it’s just wonderful. We get the same food and request the same booth. It’s always a great experience and I’ll be back year after year.

Service was great. Food was good. I wish the menu would list all items on the plate. The stuffed chicken was on a bed of risotto, but didnt say it. I cant eat it. The purple haze doesnt list ingredients, others do. A lot of menu inconsistencies. Overall it was great!

Don Halls Gas House is one of my favorite restaurants. The ambiance is great and so is the food.
Appreciated not having a music performer which has been distracting in the past. Otherwise as advertised.
The prime rib is always outstanding here. We try to visit either here, or at one of the similar Hall’s restaurants, whenever we’re in town.

Great location. Good food. Staff was a bit overworked the night we were there. Love the linens and fresh flowers on the tables. Free parking is a plus for downtown location.
The bread and the steak were good. The salad was low quality.
Our server went out of her way at the end of the meal. It was my grandson's 18th birthday. He does not like most sweets, so instead of a cake, she brought a loaf of bread (it is his most favorite bread in the world!) with a sparkler in it. He was thrilled. Everyone's food was excellent and the service was wonderful. I would not hesitate to enjoy another meal there in the near future.
The Gas House Restaurant, is one of the best places where my Wife and I go to enjoy the best lobster and prime rib. We will be back.
The service was great and there was Avery nice selection of food offerings.
The appetizer and bread was delicious the entrees were not or miss. My asparagus was over cooked, and most of the entrees seemed to be room temp or cold by the time we got them.
This might be my new favorite place. The tuna sandwich was just perfect - perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned. The cole slaw was a wonderful accompaniment.
Was our anniversary, made note when I made the reservation. We’re never asked if we were celebrating anything. General service was great, had the 3 kids with us and their meals were surprisingly cheap. Overall great service and was enjoyed. Our kids behaved but we were getting looks for even having them in there.
We recommend reservations, parking in the summer is crazy!! Took forever to find a place to park. The food was good. We didnt have to wait for our table . So that was a really good positive. Our waitress was okay. She just seem to be there . She wasnt bad just not interactive with us. We love All Of Don Halls restaurants. The food is always great!
Very disappointing. We arrived on Sunday at 11:15 and ordered a Mimosa. Only to be told that the bar tender said they had no champagne BUT that I COULD BUY a bottle of champagne and then they’d charge me for the juice as extra. What the HECK!!!! Let me get this straight. No champagne for a single mimosa but YET if I bought a bottle then They had champagne. UNACCEPTABLE!! The caliber of this place has steadily declined over the last year! The food does not come close to what it once was. We won’t be back. So many better places out there that Fort Wayne has to offer.

It was our 20 year old’s birthday, we made sure Open Table and our server knew that. I guess we’ve been offered a very “kind” free birthday desert at this restaurant in the past, made kind of a big deal of why we were there in the past, but nothing tonight. :(
