We were unable to dine in the restaurant itself, due to imposed Covid restrictions. Room service was the only option. The dinner food was fair, at best. The breakfast food arrived to our room nearly two hours late - after we placed four phone calls to check the status. When the food was finally delivered, the service person didn't apologize for or explain the long delay, she was somewhat unpleasant, the food was barely warm, and did not look at all appetizing. We had great hopes for this experience, but it ended up being a huge disappointment and extremely frustrating.
Service and virus compliance excellant
Food all above the rest
Great food, just a little too expensive for what you get.
Loved it and highly recommended. I am never disappointed. The food is delicious and fresh. The cocktails are great and dessert is out if this world!
delicious food and great service! If I lived nearby I would come back just for a meal
We had the curry chicken soup that was outstanding, and the chef and Ceasar salads, both of which were great.
Our shrimp and scallops were terrific. The caramel apple cheesecake was delicious.
The food was delicious (hot, tender, delicious steak with sides); I love the options to add items like mushrooms top quality ingredients . . . We're looking forward to returning each season for a special meal and to enjoy the changes in the garden!
Great food! Love the atmosphere. We will return soon!
The Summer stir fry was swimming in broth- more like a soup.
Nice experience despite the current COVID issues. Food was delicious and staff had everything well in hand. Lovely place!
My friend and I had the best Cobb salad we have ever eaten. It was full of chicken, bacon, avocado, blue cheese, and tomatoes with just the right amount of lettuce. The server was very pleasant and efficient. Dessert: delicious chocolate brownie with ice cream - yum!!
We intend to make this our new restaurant in Silverton from now on. Thank you!
Fantastic food great service. Ask for a window seat to see garden
The dinners here are always incredible and the wine devine.
Our steak and ribs were wonderfully prepared. The chocolate torte with Marionberry is awesome! So good!
Had an amazing dinner on 9/13. Everything was perfect from the food to the service. Steak and salmon cooked perfectly. Staff was so nice!! I would recommend to anyone.
Great food. Glad we had the package for dinner since prices are high.
Delicious food at a fine restaurant.
The food was very good and a good value, however the menu is limited. The wine was over priced.
Our meals were cold and my pasta was underdone. Staff was amazing though. I have never sent anything back but I wasn't going to eat the mushroom ravioli. They offered to replace it, and I felt horrible but the seafood duo was much better. Hot and tasty and cooked to perfection. My hubby's ribs were cold and he didn't eat that many but they couldn't have been nicer about it. A waitress came by later and said she tested my ravioli with a fork and they were hard
They took it off the menu for the evening. Thank you to everyone for being so kind
It made all the difference!
The waiter was great, easy going and had perfect timing with visits to our table. Food was better than expected and was flat out amazing.
Great food choices which were prepared in my opinion excellent. Service was great especially due to COVID regulations. Good choices on drink/wine list. It was our Anniversary and the staff was awesome.
Food very good
Service was very good
For a restaurant in Willamette the wine lust is just terrible
Our ordinary hamburgers and salad were excellent! The servings were generous, juicy, and well-seasoned. The salad was crisp and fresh, and dessert, pie made with local berries and a delicate crust was worth every calorie.
The staff was kind and thoughtful, and made us comfortable.
The sunset was like being in a movie. Watching the colors of the sky while we sat on the patio eating dinner was one of the loveliest meals we've had, and after 51 years we've had a lot of lovely meals.
Steak was tough, chewy. Vegetables were good. Service was poor. We felt rushed initially and then we wanted a second glass of wine but the waitperson never asked if we wanted another and scurried off to fill our order for food faster than a jack rabbit.
Oh, the Garden is in such a state of neglect... though not owned by the Garden, the restaurant has lost some luster as well. Food was good--fresh, seasoned well, portions a tad small. But no long do you get a salad or bread with the entree and the prices would suggest that would come with. Staffing is low, thus service is sporadic. Our server tried her best, but she was inside, outside, and in between--thus, no able to be very attentive to us. Servers used to be very professionally dressed in black with black aprons; attire was very casual. There were many diners present, I suspect as part of a package with the lodging. The menu has been pared down so not as many choices as previously.
To sum up: food was good, though expensive, without many choices.
Vegan options are limited. The food is okay. The waiter was fantastic.
Beautiful patio dinner. Right outside to overlook the gardens.
We ate outside. Service was wonderful. Compliance with pandemic guidelines was good.
The overall value was good, breakfast was lacking, we were there during the virus so they did the best that they could under the circumstances.
Wonderful pasta. Great service. Beautiful scenery.
Our dining experience was very good. There were interesting entree’s on the menu and the waiters explained the choices well. The prices were on par with other places we have eaten and the waiters checked back often to fill our water and iced tea. Everyone was friendly even though we all had to wear the mandatory masks.
It’s a beautiful location with outdoor seating that overlooks the Oregon Garden. We split the ribs and the mushroom ravioli and both were excellent. Service was prompt and responsive. They have an excellent wine list with a very reasonably priced house wine that was very good. They’re taking extra precautions such as leaving an empty booth between dining parties.
We found that the prices were much too expensive for what was served. The ambience would be nicer if they washed the windows to fully enjoy the views. The booths were tight and somewhat uncomfortable. We ordered the steak special which was suppose to have a special sauce on it which was forgotten. We mentioned it to our waitress and she brought the sauce out in a cup. It was an odd combination and not good so we left it off. The breakfast the next morning was a standard cheap hotel buffet. No juice was offered yet I saw later they were serving juice to other tables. Ending on a positive note, the coconut prawns we had as an appetizer at dinner were delicious. The dinner wait staff was fine.
We arrived for an 11:00am reservation, and then were told they don’t open until 11:30. They did seat us, however, and brought us water until opening time. Service could have been a little better.
Our ribeye steaks were delicious! The services was awesome! We sat outside looking over the garden! A perfect night!
Lovely garden setting with good menu selections.
We had lunch and they didn't check back. Didn't take any empty plates either. Dinner, they did check back, had to ask for plates to be taken off. Waiter was very nice.
They messed up my steak, they did cook me another one, but eating it by itself, no side dishes, it just not the same.
Just loved eating here - food great, awesome staff, and ooohhhh that view!
