Nice ambiance, however the service was quite poor. Waiters kept chatting with each other instead of taking care of the guests.
We had to wait 20 minutes on a line to get a table despite the fact that we had a reservation. Service was mediocre and it took forever to get our bill. Finally had to ask maître d.
demasiado caro.... muy malo
Fabulous - food, service and atmosphere is perfect for business or pleasure.
Wonderful ambiance. Expansive range of choices. Excellent service. Best breakfast.
I went for brunch and it was terrible. I hope it was a bad day.
The food despite being a bit pricy was good and the service was great.
Beautiful place. But food was not great.
Ramen too salty
Pancakes best ever!!
Juice was awesome.
Service was slow and not engaging. Prices way too high for mediocre service.
Inefficient and slow service. Overpriced.
Perfect. But then we ordered coffees at the end. $15 per cup. Insulting.
I entertain for a living, but will NEVER go the Garden again for breakfast. The prices are insane. What they call the Park Avenue breakfast consists of eggs, toast, juice and coffee and costs $54. Now that's a profit margin any store owner would kill for. When asked how much are two scrambled eggs, a la carte, the answer was $32. A bagel was $12.
Disgraceful. Never again.
Wonderful fantastic food, good variety and selection.
The place is amazing and very elegant. Ideal for business meal or meeting. It is also very quiet. Service at the top.
It was an enjoyable breakfast at the Garden in Four Season Hotel on East 57th Street NYC - The food was great but more importantly the waiter staff was Outstanding - Very personable, friendly, and were very attentive when needed !!! I recommend this place highly for Great Breakfasts/Brunch - Next Time We Need To Come Back At Night For Drinks/Tapas !!
You expect the food at Four Seasons to be excellent and it was. But when they overcooked my hamburger what I didn’t expect was free desserts for four of us, numerous apologies from the server and finally a visit from the chef also apologizing. How could I not return!
This was another wonderful lunch. I deviated from my usual hanger steak and chose the grilled sea bass which I thoroughly enjoyed. The pecan chiffon cake was to die for. The service was to the usually excellent standard.
The food was delicious. Our server, Jose was amazing. Not cheap, but it was a great experience.
Fantastic staff, gorgeous food and overall super breakfast.
Great oasis in the middle of NYC. Perfect for a power breakfast or lunch. Great hidden gem if you want a superb lunch with attentive service.
Hosting West Coast friends in the city this week, I wanted something a bit 'glam', and mid-town.
The Garden at the Four Seasons was the perfect choice! Lovely atmosphere, great service, busy, but the acoustics were great. We could talk. Three of the four of us had the poached eggs on avocado toast with spinach. A total winner! This was a most pleasant dining experience.
For the price, it was underwhelming. I had pigs in a blanket which is 2 pancakes and 2 sausages.
Price is prohibitive. Waiter kept hitting my chair. Someone needs some training.
Muy mal servicio con nuestro mesero y su actitud.
Food, service and atmosphere was exceptional, everyone in our party was very pleased.
Servicio especialmente amable.
Comida y bebida perfecta
Very disappointing experience considering this is the Four Season. Service was not at all 5 star and the food was cold.
Wonderful restaurant with incredible service and food. Amazing ambiance and attention to every detail. A must visit!
I love this restaurant. Ludovic, Kristina, Milton...the team will welcome you warmly and serve you the best meals! The kale with salmon. The avocado toast. The lemon ricotta pancakes! YUM
Great food. High prices. Usually friendly but sometimes snobby service.
Went for an impromptu breakfast with my husband after staying the night in NYC. Service was great , atmosphere was serene, food was excellent. I had the poached eggs on avocado toast , it was amazing. The flavors, the country bread, perfectly poached eggs elevated a basic dish to a real treat. I rated value 4 stars because the food is very expensive, this being a Four Seasons Hotel restaurant. We spent as much for breakfast as we would have spent for dinner ! (And my husband only had oatmeal with fruit and some toast .) However, if you’re looking for an elegant NYC breakfast, this is the place.
Had breakfast. Prices were almost double those of the Peninsula for comparable items. Even expecting really high prices from a high end hotel, these prices were way above that.
I am never disappointed with The Garden. My guest was a vegetarian so we both had the Cauliflower Steak which was surprising good. The service and the ambiance was perfect.
Love the menu and the team!
Food was good, service not to good. Overcharge credit card with 20% ( don’t know why) and gets refunded 5 days later without telling the customer. Will they see me again, probably not.
Pleasant with nice food. However extremely expensive for NYC
I had the impression that this restaurant was an rooftop restaurant with outdoor seating. It was a make believe outdoor restaurant with tall trees and etc. The waitress was very accommodating to find us a table that looked the most like outdoors. The service was very attentive, but I'm so disappointed with the Tuna dish I had. It was so salty soaked with soy sauce! I couldn't swallow anymore half way. I drunk a whole bottle of water to help. For almost $50 a dish, this was not up to the standard.
There is a balanced menu of vegetarian and nonvegetarian choices. I started with grilled octopus followed by a hanger steak. Both were excellent. The glass of Cote du Rhone was well above average.
Excellent ricotta pancakes. "Talk of the town"
