The Garden is an excellent place for breakfast or lunch (it is not open for dinner) and reflects the style and approach of the Four Seasons hotels in general - excellent food, truly outstanding service, gracious environment. It what you expect from a restaurant in the Four Seasons, and it fulfills all such expectations. The environment is also distinctive, providing an oasis of calm, albeit a serious one. I am in the restaurant regularly, and its excellence is totally consistent. The one warning is also not surprising given its location - it is expensive. But you understand what you are paying for and I highly recommend it.
Enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Garden. We were celebrating our 57th Wedding Anniversary. I had asked for a special table which was given to us. The host and wait staff were very solicitous with a complimentary champagne and dessert. We were also given the house car to take us home. They all made our special day even more special.
Excellent spot for brunch. Quiet and civilized atmosphere: a relative rarity in NYC. The lemon ricotta pancakes were fantastic.
This is a VERY expensive place for breakfast, which I knew, for special occasions only or business write off. Service is always first class. As a chef, I’ll have to say their omelet technique leaves something to be desired but most people won’t mind. As an extra nice touch they sent us mini pancakes as a birthday treat with candles. Pancakes are really good here, though I think their recipe changed. Texturally they whipped the egg whites to make them fluffier and it seems they no longer do that. I could be wrong and realize I’m being nit picky, just an observation. This has always been my go to for breakfast for special occasion and will continue to be.
Met a friend for breakfast who was in town for a short visit. She had the simple dish of yogurt & fruit and I tried the poached eggs and avocado toast. I was underwhelmed by my mushy meal on a piece of bread that I could not cut w the plain knife they gave me. Food aside, we were able to catch up w each other, happy in the quiet, lovely atmosphere and attentive service offered by the staff. Our meal was quite expensive but I had expected that. Sum: The ambience made it the perfect choice for us.
Food was average, and not prepared as requested.
Given the high price, the food should be impeccable
Ambiance, though, is the best on Manhattan.
Ambience was great cuz of 5star hotel and service was great and quiet as well.
the food quality was good cuz they use organic stuff, but bit overpriced.
Outstanding as usual!
The staff was terrific and the food was excellent, the decor was quite nice not amazing.
The overall cost is astronomical, and not really a good value even for an occasion.
It was $100 for juice, eggs, hash, 1 coffee and toast. Loved the people, but we don't mind spending lots and we are used to that in NY but this was over the top.
Brunch at the Four Seasons Garden is a must. A thumbs up for Cinnamon and Egg Nog Waffles. However the fries chicken and waffles are a must! A bit pricy however the service, food options and ambiance are well worth it.
Fuimos a desayunar el domingo temprano, muy buenas atenciones, buena comida, aunque un poco caro para desayuno, lo recomendaría haciendo la salvedad del precio
Great Brunch, ambiance is spectacular and service is very professional and charming. Loved it
$54 for eggs. Ridiculous.
Excellent staff and service in a nice relaxed atmosphere. Our entire party enjoyed the dishes
The Garden at the Four Seasons is a fine place ro eat breakfast if you don’t care how badly your eggs are cooked. It doesn’t help to complain as s they do it the way want which is overlooked. The addition of ice cold toast seems consistent.
Finally being presented with another person’s bill completes the sloppy performance.
This is my favorite spot for a special occasion breakfasts. My one, go to breakfast here is the Salmon Eggs Benedict. The service is excellent, quick and very professional. It draws a smart international business crowd but the setting is so pretty that it feels completely comfortable for special breakfasts with friends. I would recommend it for high level business people and special occasions. Special note to the great service by M.
Service was very warm and professional, also very attentive. Decor and tables, sofas are clean and comfortable.
The food is delicious and healthy. The tables are far apart so you can hear each other. The service is solid but sometimes forgets to check on you - still the room is so very beautiful
great tuna burger! and always warm and welcoming. Beautiful setting too
Nice ambiance, however the service was quite poor. Waiters kept chatting with each other instead of taking care of the guests.
We had to wait 20 minutes on a line to get a table despite the fact that we had a reservation. Service was mediocre and it took forever to get our bill. Finally had to ask maître d.
demasiado caro.... muy malo
Fabulous - food, service and atmosphere is perfect for business or pleasure.
Wonderful ambiance. Expansive range of choices. Excellent service. Best breakfast.
I went for brunch and it was terrible. I hope it was a bad day.
The food despite being a bit pricy was good and the service was great.
Beautiful place. But food was not great.
Ramen too salty
Pancakes best ever!!
Juice was awesome.
Service was slow and not engaging. Prices way too high for mediocre service.
Inefficient and slow service. Overpriced.
Perfect. But then we ordered coffees at the end. $15 per cup. Insulting.
I entertain for a living, but will NEVER go the Garden again for breakfast. The prices are insane. What they call the Park Avenue breakfast consists of eggs, toast, juice and coffee and costs $54. Now that's a profit margin any store owner would kill for. When asked how much are two scrambled eggs, a la carte, the answer was $32. A bagel was $12.
Disgraceful. Never again.
Wonderful fantastic food, good variety and selection.
The place is amazing and very elegant. Ideal for business meal or meeting. It is also very quiet. Service at the top.
It was an enjoyable breakfast at the Garden in Four Season Hotel on East 57th Street NYC - The food was great but more importantly the waiter staff was Outstanding - Very personable, friendly, and were very attentive when needed !!! I recommend this place highly for Great Breakfasts/Brunch - Next Time We Need To Come Back At Night For Drinks/Tapas !!
You expect the food at Four Seasons to be excellent and it was. But when they overcooked my hamburger what I didn’t expect was free desserts for four of us, numerous apologies from the server and finally a visit from the chef also apologizing. How could I not return!
This was another wonderful lunch. I deviated from my usual hanger steak and chose the grilled sea bass which I thoroughly enjoyed. The pecan chiffon cake was to die for. The service was to the usually excellent standard.
The food was delicious. Our server, Jose was amazing. Not cheap, but it was a great experience.
Fantastic staff, gorgeous food and overall super breakfast.
