Birthday fun!! Great vibe!
I've been dying to come here for a while and finally made it for brunch this past Sunday. I'm a sucker for ambience and this place has loads of it. Super pretty design both inside and out, down to the glasses and mugs and water bottle. I had the Nutella french toast and practically wanted to curl up in a fetal position from how delicious it was. Definitely lively and a little noisy, but I look forward to coming back.
Every moment was bliss! From the moment we drove up I knew we had a made a great decision to dine here. Walking in the Host was a little busy when we arrived however, once his matter was settled he welcomed us and seated us and he prompt, friendly with a great smile. our server was Nikki and she was also great, she didn't keep walking up to the table just gave us our space and was there when we needed her. The Food was exceptional and I mean that!
We will definitely be returning.
Excellent food. Very good quick service. Valet parking was excellent. Definitely will recommend.
First time here since the property's remodel and really loved the ambiance of the place. Lots of various seating options from booths to tables to bar area seating. Lots of both outdoor and indoor seating too. While we came for Saturday lunch, you could tell its probably a really cute pretty spot at night too.
We both ordered the Eggs Benedict and although not bad, there really wasn't much flavor? Menu description sounded great but felt a bit bland. Again, not bad but will try something else next time.
Service was great though and the feel of the place is really really nice, will be returning for sure!
Excellent food and super cute patio! We will be back. Mimosas are heavy so you don’t over do it, with a unique kick.
I treated my girlfriend to cocktails and dinner for her birthday. We were able to take advantage of Happy Hour cocktails and enjoyed our dinner. The hostess and our server were great. The outdoor seating is very pleasant, and the evening was very enjoyable! Thank you!!! Anne

Love this spot for brunch. Definitely make a reservation because they get crowded! Beautiful outdoor area that’s just beautiful to dine in.
We were so impressed!
Patio & surroundings were lovely.
Food was fantastic & the service (both hostess & waiter) were top notch!
I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn’t for the issue we had checking in. We got there before our reservation at 1:45p and stated it was an open table reservation and the hostess said they would come get us. About 15 minutes pass and no one has gotten us. I went to the host and no one knew about our whole party being there. Shortly after got an email from OpenTable I was a no show. Not cool. Other than that the ambiance was great and the food was pretty good. Bottomless mimosas got cut off at 3p so either get there early enough or tell your waiter to keep coming by as you pound them down. Overall great experience and would go back again.
Too much of a party scene for me. I’m 55 and didn’t really want to see a bunch of scantly clad 20 something’s while on my date!
I cook. Their “bolognese on tagliatelle” was neither. More like canned sloppy joe meat on linguini. They need a pasta chart to know the different pasta shapes. Bolognese was Luke warm over cold out of the box linguini. Yuk. Dessert was good. Appetizer was ok. Next time it’s drinks only in the patio during the summer.
Great spot for outdoor dining - had a nice meal and stayed after to enjoy our wine (without being rushed out the door). The waiter was nice - but, as other reviews have mentioned, the service was a little slow. That said, it didn't matter to us, as it was a nice night and we were in such a great outdoor space - we enjoyed the evening and the ambience. Will definitely be back...
Family dinner on vacation. Carlos was tremendous. Very knowledgeable. Impeccable service. Special note to the chef and kitchen. Truly special food.
Beautiful setting. Valet available. Self-park free for first 3 hours with validation from restaurant. Great service all around!!!
The Front Yard has been a favorite of mine since they opened over two years ago. Unfortunately they have lost their way. The chef is beyond terrific, so inventive, our issue is not with the food but with everything else.
We ate at the Front Yard during their Easter Brunch. We booked through Open Table for 2:45. What they do not tell you is that the brunch is only served till 3:30. Much to our surprise when we got up for our second round and the buffet had been cleared.
Our waitress did not even mention that they were cutting off service at 3:30. Though we did not even get a second helping or make it to the desserts, our waitress charged us the full-price $55.00 and didn't even apologize.
The Front Yard also put on an 18% surcharge! For a buffet? Unheard of. And the wait staff does not alert you to this fact.
Once the wait staff was the best in town. All those veterans are gone and the new ones are not cutting it.
Maybe Beverly Garland's children, who run the property, will do something to fix what has transpired at the Front Yard.
Went for Easter - food was good! Not a ton of variety but well done. Love the relaxed atmosphere and outdoor dining!!
Easter brunch was fantastic. Great patio, friendly service and the Easter Bunny. Perfect.
Easter brunxh
We visited for the first time on Easter. The brunch was great but the super staff made it exceptional.
Food, wine and service were all good. We would go back again but likely not on
a Saturday night. Parking is difficult if one does not want to valet. Our table was fine, in fact it was in a good location. Unfortunately, it's a very noisy place.
The ambiance and service at The Front Yard were phenomenal. Our group of six were greeted and seated immediately and our waiter was very attentive and informative. General consensus of the group was that we would definitely return. However, although we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals at the time, two members of our group became violently ill that evening. As they both shared the same appetizers and entree, we have pretty well narrowed it down to one of those items perhaps being the culprit.
Delicious food. Love the outdoor patio. Inside a bit loud. But the patio is perfect for lovely LA weather.
Great lunch spot!
Very charming, good food quality, and everything was well balanced taste. Had the tacos, excellent.
We had mixed feelings about our visit. Hostess was with quite an attitude and not very attentive. She made us wait for the wrong table and was very unhappy we asked to sit by the fire even though no one was sitting there all night. Our waiter was absolutely great and attentive! Food was amazing and came out extremely fast!
Had a great evening celebrating my son't birthday. The food and drinks were wonderful. great flavors, unique choices, and great service. I would recommend this restaurant. A bonus is that you can self park for free with your dinner validation.
I really liked the mushroom flatbread. Their Thai-style brussel sprouts were okay, but not great. Ambiance was lovely. I enjoyed all the plants, the garden bistro feel. Staff were attentive and helpful.
The decor is nice. Cute lighting and woodsy feeling. Was a bit noisy. The food was not bad but the chicken was a bit over cooked. We also ordered 5 appetizers which were very creative and quite tasty.
Server appeared bored with his job. We waited 10 minutes to be greeted & had to repeatedly ask for anything we needed. Won’t be back!
This was my favorite place to brunch. Unfortunately, this experience was awful. There were a bunch of extremely loud drunk folks that made it hard to hear at our own table. Some of the food was cold when it arrived at the table. I hate to say this but I probably wont go back and it used to be my favorite place
Super cute ambiance. I went at night for a dinner with friends. Twinkle lights everywhere and large tables for bigger groups. Parking is a little strange but they validate.
Overall experience was incredible. Jennifer was amazing and had a great sense of humor.
Table was ready on time. Food was good.
Service not so much.
We waited 30 minutes before we were able to order and an hour before any food came out, which came out cold. Barely saw our waiter too. The food was ok. Overall disappointed.
The service was fantastic. The food was delicious. Our server was super helpful and kind to our 7 year old. It was a fun place. I loved the atmosphere. I was a little unsure about taking our son there for dinner, but it was perfect. They have a kids menu. My son said it was the best cheeseburger he’d ever had. Great wine selection. I would definitely go back again.
Nice setting and menu. Both had flat bread, was tasty. Please note they add service tax 12% to bill. Attentive service and good meal. Self parking at hotel adjacent is validated and valet at discount $4.50.
Had a blast! Love this place!
Not a huge menu, but tasty, mouth-watering entrees that are plated to entice your eyes and stomach. Am particularly fond of the cheese grits appetizer, and the butterscotch pudding. Waiter was cheerful and attentive, but the food service could be a bit faster.
Beautiful setting, lovely ambiance, food is very good - wish they had more selections for brunch. Mimosas are no great - they have brandy in them. If You want regular you have to buy each individual one at $12 a piece. Service was decent. They were busy but still waited a long time to be served.
