first time ... great food and staff and great parking.. we will do this again

I love this place. It's like a place where Fran Sinatra would have eaten there.

Good as usual, but raise those cocktail lounge tables! They’re made for Middle-Earth Hobbits!

Good experience at Thanksgiving buffet. Food was ok but service was excellent.

We went to The Front Yard for Thanksgiving Dinner, our reservation was at 6pm yet they did not seat us until 6:45pm .. we were NOT pleased! When I inquired many times about our 'table', I was told that since we had booked so late that we were "last" on the list for 6pm - what? So, come to find out, they are seating people for later reservations BEFORE us! They then finally seat us at a horrible table by the front door and given that it was rather cold (and rainy) that day, that was also not great. The odd thing was that even while we were waiting for our table, there were plenty of other tables with no guests at all, so why couldn't they seat us? My husband complained about the seating and only at that time did they agree to seat us away from the front door and all the hub-bub going on there (not fun to attempt to be dining with folks in the front door area peering over at your food)!! While the food was good (it's a buffet) and our waitress was very nice, we were NOT pleased with the rest of the staff and how we were treated. We do not plan to go back to The Front Yard and I hope they treat their staff better than their customers!

Food was good! The reason I give 3 stars is because we went on thanksgiving and our reservation was at 6pm, we arrived early at 5:30pm and they didn’t seat us until 6:40pm. Other than their lateness it was a good experience.

We enjoyed another Thanksgiving dinner at the Front Yard and as always, the service was outstanding. Due to the rain, a nearby ballroom was set up to comfortably wait for our table with champagne and coffee. The food was delicious and the only thing we'd change would be to include mashed potatoes with our Thanksgiving dinner. We are fans of the hotel and the restaurant and will certainly return again throughout the year.

This place never disappoints! Their benny is my favorite, but all of the dishes are innovative and fresh. I’m obsessed with their mimosas! Will admit the bloody mary had little to no flavor, but as long as they have the mimosa available, I’m chillin.

The outdoor patio was wonderful and cozy. Large space inside as well. Food was ok, but cocktails were great. Would visit again and try other things on menu

Brought out of town company here for brunch. The staff was wonderful and got us a table on the patio when they were very busy. Great wine list too! I’ll be back

Like always Outstanding...

I was staying at the hotel and went for breakfast and dinner at the restaurant with my 9-year-old son. We both loved our food and enjoyed the ambiance. Not an inexpensive meal but totally worth it versus dining at the local City Walk.

Took 15 min for waiter to come by and ask if we wanted to order anything. Food was bland for dinner. Lunch here is much better. We could’ve gone to Boa or Mastro’s for a steak that tasted way better for the amount we spent. They do add automatic 15% gratuity which kind of deters anyone from wanting to tip more just because they don’t leave us that option to begin with. Probably won’t be coming back for dinner.

Average food in a place "to be seen." The ambiance was nice.

The waiter was so nice and attentive. Ambience was amazing (outdoor seating). The food was delicious.

Service was a nightmare per usual. It's such a bummer because the place is absolutely beautiful but to take 2 hours to eat a simple meal is insane.

Awesome location for brunch and family, and is dog friendly. Valet is available and not expensive. The food is great very flavorful! Will be going back again.

The food at The Front Yard is fresh and innovative. My daughter and I shared the Avocado Toast and the ground Short Rib Burger. Both were delicious. The Avocado Toast was very large and so yummy. the Burger was juicy. ...one of the best burgers I've eaten.

As always a delicious brunch with bottomless mimosas and excellent service

Never fails to be a great experience when I visit The Front Yard either for just cocktails, lunch or dinner.

The food is amazing! The steak and the fried chicken were excellent!!! A little High priced but hey it’s LA would go back! Try deviled eggs!! FAB!

Food was delicious. Outside seating was so pretty.

The Nutella stuffed French toast was amazing. Mimosas are strong. Service is soooo great. We didn’t have any trouble but it felt like they would have done anything to fix any problems we had
I love this place so much

Made reservations a day before and still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. My friend ordered chicken without knowing it’s fried and when she told the waiter she can’t eat it would it be okay to switch it for regular chicken he said “it would not be okay” but he still did it anyways after talking to him for five minutes. I’ve been at frontyard a few times and this wasn’t the best experience I’ve had there. Ambiance is great but something is very off with the service. Employees have attitude. Starting from checking in, to the bar and being served. I’m not sure if I’ll go back for awhile.

A lovely environment and great service. The food and cocktails range from good to outstanding depending on what you order. Definitely worth going out for a date or other event.

Service was good but the chicken club was dry, both the chicken and the bun. :-/

The Front Yard is never disappointing. I had the Cheese Royale which was delicious and my friend had the vegetable soup and deviled eggs! All was great including five star service. We go back again and again.

The drinks were fantastic and we very much enjoyed the atmosphere outdoors. It really did have the comfort of eating in the yard of your own home. Food was delicious and above all we had the absolute best waitress. She was a delight and I would highly recommend the restaurant based on the experience she gave us.

Our server was really nice and the foods she recommended us were all delicious. We wanted to sit outside as there were many vacant tables and the receptionist said they were all reserved so we were taken to a booth as you enter the restaurant (we were told the wait would be 30 mins. if we want an outside table). As we were leaving, the tables outside were still empty. What's up with that? The restaurant was not even that busy and the request was not even accommodated. It would have been a different experience if they even try to accommodate our request.

Great place to go! So interestingly decorated. Will go back for great food, service, and people watching.
