Easter brunch was absolutely delicious! Our server was extremely pleasant as well. It was so good I sent pictures of our food to friends and family and told them how good it was ... and extremely reasonable prices!

The service wasn’t as good as normal. My husband ordered his burger cooked medium and it was well done and my soda was completely flat but the waiter seemed very busy so he never came back to top off our waters or see if we needed refills. I have had many good experiences here but just wasn’t as happy with the service this time. I will still go back though.

Seated by the window. Serve staff brought water and asked about drinks. Wonderful menu selections as well as specials.

Had the fried mushroom caps and onion rings-divine! Then I had the chicken-au gratin potatoes were undercooked a little and broccoli was raw. Couldn’t cut it with a knife. Garlic sauce was oddly sweet. Husband had salmon. Came with a quarter cup white rice and four asparagus stalks. He was still hungry. All in all it was good but not great. Will try again but stick to pub menu next time. Dessert? Ah, yum! Creme brulee was heaven and choc teardrop fab!

As one of our first post-COVID dates, the Frog and Turtle did not disappoint. The authentic menu of delicious higher end and pub fare, made it easy to meet both our tastes. Service was patient and friendly!!

Wonderful attentive waitress. Disappointed the harvest moon was not available. Charcuterie and pretzel boards were spot on. Fried haddock was blander than in the past, sirloin and Shepard pie crepes were excellent as always. Chicken crepe ok not great. Chocolate Cheesecake and lemon tart great but best desert ever was a few weeks ago. Those cream rolls were my favorite in all the years of dining there. Never disappointed with our favorite restaurant.

Really enjoyed the restaurant and the meal. Great service. We have eaten here before and always enjoy ourselves. It was wonderful going out to dinner after a very long time being stuck at home during the pandemic.

For the price the food wasn't great. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was medium to medium well. My sons was over cooked as well. The Haddock was okay, nothing special, but it made the chips soggy. The potato skins were dry and the wings were just okay. The service was fantastic, our waiter was very nice and the ambiance was great. Drinks were good but very expensive for the area.

Everything was great except it was extremely noisy as a group of people were yelling and talking all at once. We couldn’t hear the servers or our friends. It was brunch. Had it been a night with a band understandable. However not sure what could have been done. It wasn’t the F&T fault.

This place is just fantastic. When visiting Maine, I always make a reservation at this restaurant. Food, Service & quality of food is just incredible.

Wonderful experience!

They have changed the pizza because when we went last yr it tasted straight out of Naples, Italy and this time it tasted like a bucket of salt was dumped on it. Was such a let down. But the service is great and the drinks are awesome and the poutine is top notch.

This is the second time I came with a friend to have a nice meal. This time it was to celebrate a birthday with someone I hadn’t gotten together with in awhile and was really looking forward to conversing over a good meal. There was a 3 piece ensemble playing that night and we couldn’t hear over the din of way too loud music for a small place. It was so annoying to sit there and yell at each other over the noise of the music. The wait staff moved us further away and still it was ridiculously loud! I won’t be back

Great little restaurant with a neighborhood feel. My favorite time to eat there is for brunch. They have great home made donuts and one of the few restaurants in the Greater Portland area which makes a homemade creton (a French pork spread) which they use on their Franco-American Benedict. Also serve a great Bloody Mary. Outstanding!!

We love this restaurant! Chef James and team make us feel welcome every time we visit, and the food is fantastic! Great mimosa flights and lots of donut options (although none are gluten free- still good variety for those who partake). We’re looking forward to our next brunch (or dinner- we haven’t decided yet!). 🙂

As always, The Frog & Turtle came through with excellent food, delightful service and great drinks. Exactly why I continue to enjoy the Westbrook restaurant/bar and return over and over.

Great place with wonderful staff and a really nice vibe. On the pricier side but the food is fantastic and worth it for a night out. Drinks are definitely on point. Portions are perfect and food is always cooked perfectly.

First time going and the food was fantastic. I will be going back to try some of the other entrees.

The food was great as always, and Bree did an awesome job explaining the specials and was very attentive to our needs. It was great to see Tommy's band, can't wait until next month!

Fantastic food, the vegan soup they made special was very much appreciated and delicious. We were looking forward to the Irish Folk music posted on their website, the alternative band was still nice just be aware their most updated info is on their Facebook page.

My husband had the pork chop special and said it was the “best pork chop he has ever had.” I had the seafood stew which was also superb. Our waitress was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Her wine recommendations were spot on. The icing on the cake was the jazz trio. They were excellent and the volume was perfect without making it impossible to carry on a conversation.
I can’t wait to try the upstairs deck!

The staff and the food was impeccable! I was a little chilly at our first table so they moved us upstairs near the fire which was perfect! We can’t wait to go back for brunch on Sunday!! ❤️

I can't remember the server but she was phenomenal and very professional! We are definitely coming back! Food was amazing and came out so fast!

The food was incredible as always! The band wasn't too loud. Only downfall wasn't the restaurant's fault. The couple next to us kept leaning over and talking and with social distancing, and out for Valentine's, we were not interested in chatting. The staff were young and did not address. The could actually got into the booth with the people behind them. Hope they knew them! Other than the 'odd couple' it was fantastic!

We ordered the tomahawk steak valentines dinner for 2 had over 1/2 the steak left and although we asked we did not get our leftovers to take home — with food and drink our bill was over $200
