We have been going to this restaurant for about 30 years. It has always been a wonderful experience. Until now. I am not sure what happened but attention to details comes to mind along with a few other items. First, we sat at the bar for an opening drink. I asked for a scotch. When I tasted it, I knew it was not what I asked for. The two types don't sound remotely alike. I drank it because I was not 100% sure. Then I got the bill. There it was. Proof and $20 over charged because of it. Okay. I still enjoyed the drink. Clueless bar tender. Move to the table. Server reads specials because we asked, not offered. "Breaded crab legs". Does that sound or look like breaded soft-shell crabs. Not even close. Is this what the chef put on the specials list? Did the server change the verbiage? What ever it was, the dish was clearly not as expected. I don't think anyone would consider this a simple substitute or comparison. Second dish was red snapper. It was fine but unexciting. Back-servers managed to place the dishes with the wrong person on all courses. Desert. Creme brulee. Second was Toasted Pound Cake. Kind of a joke really. A 2 inch chunk of cake with 2 strawberries. I'll leave it at that. So over all, it was a very disappointing visit from start to finish. Everything from service to food was unacceptable. I don't know what the story was but it was quite a damper of a day. And that was my anniversary dinner. Thank you.

We went here to celebrate our daughter's graduation. Had a private round table upstairs and had one of the best waitresses ever. The menu is interesting, the wine list excellent and everything prepared perfectly.

Impressed with the ambiance of the patio. Food was top notch. Only negative was that a larger group sitting nearby was very loud making any type of conversation with my date extremely difficult. Thankfully, everything else was perfect so it didn’t derail the night.

Excellent sauce on the fish and very tasty. Outdoor dining was more like a well ventilated tent room with several plastic windows rolled down. Parking was a rip off and done by an inexperienced valet. Better to park at the hotel or New Brunswick lot and walk 1.5 blocks to the restaurant.

Had Mother’s Day brunch and it was divine! Everything was delicious. My personal favorite was the gnocchi and lobster Benedict. Every dish was beautifully plated and just as tasty. The crème brûlée was the perfect finisher!

I had a great time; I was out to celebrate my Birthday and Anniversary. We opened with a soup the chefs created that day, watercress soup, which was delicious and creamy—followed by the appetizers Za’atar Spiced Flatbread and Portuguese octopus. Excellent, perfectly cooked, and tasted exactly how my grandma makes it. The main meal was Cacio e, Pepe; freshly cut spaghetti was delicious and straightforward. Next, I had the Long Island Duck Breast, which I highly recommend. It was so good; the skin was crispy and tasted almost like bacon, but the meat was tenderly soft and savory. We wanted to walk around new Brunswick to find a spot to get dessert, and I would recommend that due to the large selection of shops selling sweets in the area. However, when we went, it was raining, so we ended up staying for dessert, and were not disappointed, we had the Classic Crème Brûlée and the Raspberry Tart, which were phenomenal. Service was excellent wish I remembered my server's name, but he was great and helped with selections.

The lunch was a bit of a letdown. They were out of the food that I ordered and the cod was a bit dry and uninspiring. For the $ $140 for a shared appetizer, two main courses and coffee it was too pricy as the food was kind of meh.

Delicious upscale dining. We have been coming to Frog and the Peach since its inception when the neighborhood was a dicey industrial zone. Today, the neighborhood is much improved and the restaurant is still outstanding. It has a vibrant bar scene, a nice selection of craft cocktails, as well as a small but complete wine list for all budgets. The food is creative and delicious. The wait staff is friendly. Valet parking is available for a nominal cost.

I should have listened to the reviews. The menu is small and very pricey for what you get. I was feeling something vegetarian, so I ordered the spring roll entree, expecting them to be light and fresh in spring roll paper. What I got was essentially 2 veg egg rolls for $26 dollars. My husband ordered the skirt steak, which he said was good. The experience wasn't bad- I just won't go back between having to pay $10 for parking, and the limited menu. If I'm going to have an expensive meal and have to pay for parking, I might as well go to Manhattan.

We had a very nice Easter celebration at The Frog and The Peach. The service was friendly and knowledgable. We would definitely return for the gnocchi alone, so delicious. Everything was very good, maybe the desserts could be a little more imaginative, but overall an enjoyable experience.

The food and service are good, but the valet parking is ridiculously expensive! I paid $20 +$2= $22 to Delta valet to park my car. It should be included if you dining in an expensive restaurant. It takes away customers from the restaurant.👎
