We’re not from the area, and were on a road trip, finding The Frog and Peach on Yelp. It’s a nice place that sort of feels in the middle of nowhere. Our waitress was very nice, engaging and professional. The food was pretty good. The duck confit tacos were more greasy than I would have liked. My husband enjoyed the whole fish special. I’d recommend it to others.

Excellent food and service just took a long tine for having to run back to work! Not slow, mind you, just leisurely. Will be back again. Really nice restaurant. I ate there many years ago and remembered it fondly. With good reason.

Overall, the meal was excellent and eating here never disappoints. The only issue we had was with the restaurant-supplied car valet service. We requested our car via the app prior to getting our bill at 9:10pm in the hopes that we could time finishing our meal/paying with the car being ready. Unfortunately, when we went outside about fifteen minutes later, the car was still not ready. We saw others who requested their car get theirs before us. We kept inquiring about our car being ready. The attendants insisted that the car was "on its way" yet my husband recognized our keys just sitting on the stand. When that was pointed out, no apology was offered nor was any sense of urgency ignited. It still took another 25 minutes to get the car. When the car arrived, they had left the driver side window wide open and the entire driver side was soaked. No apologies, no comped service. It took 50 minutes total to get the car (we got it at 10pm).

Great food, great ambiance. Would recommend to others. Certain dishes are very small, check reviews and photos prior to ordering. Hanger steak was the top best, recommend over the skirt steak.

The food was solid. The service was just plain bad. We signed-up for the tasting menu and proceeded to get served food with no context on what it was; while also getting overly condescending introductions to the wine being paired. The service was rushed. And as a result, what was one rare night out for my wife and I ended with us grabbing a slice of pizza after. We usually love this place. But something was very off holistically. Go with caution.

Gnocchis were not good but everything else was very good and the service was top notch. Wine list has some very good moderately priced options.

We have been fans of this restaurant since it opened. Although there was a dip in service a few years ago, they have returned to the highest levels in terms of food and atmosphere. All our dishes were delicious and we look forward to returning again.

I made last minute reservations for Christmas Eve, and noted that we have multiple food allergies in my party. I called to discuss menu options and Jason worked very hard to find options. He greeted us when we arrived and got us seated promptly at a quiet table near the back of the restautant. We ended up with the Steamed Sea Bass without the sea beans-delicious the Griggstown Chicken without the sauce-amazingly flavorful and juicy on it's own, and the Braised Short Ribs with a side of Truffle Fries-delicious!

I look forward to going back and I definitely recommend this restaurant!

I have had many fine dining experiences but unfortunately this was not one of them. The only reason I gave 3 stars for food was because one dish out of all ordered was outstanding-the Kobe steak. Everything else was quite poor. The tuna had a medicinal taste, the duck was weird-ordered by a duck lover it (he politely said it was not what he expected.) the gnocci appetizer was blah-no taste. The desserts were also weird. I have been here before and was quite sadly unpleasantly surprised. As an aside, we only discovered we had purchased a bottle of water when our waitress asked if we wanted to order another one. I didn't recognize the bottle she served to us and thought it was how water with the meal was dispensed. If I am ordering a bottle of water (and I often do) I want to know the choices.

Food was good and unique, but portions were small especially for the price. Service wasn't great. Not terrible, but our waiters were inattentive. It was odd that the after i paid waiter returned the bill to my girlfriend. He took the bill from me and my name was on the creditcard. Not a problem, but just shows the general level of service we got all night. Maybe because my girlfriend and I don't drink, they knew the tab would be smaller so they just didn't bother to put any effort. Maybe I shouldn't have asked about portion size either. And the waiter was clearly disappointed we shared a dessert.
Again. It's was still a good night with good food. Service just felt a little off.

I had high hopes for the Frog and Peach for my boyfriend's birthday dinner, but our experience was very disappointing. We had been there for happy hour in the past and I've always heard good things about this place. The food here is excellent, there was no issue with the quality or taste of the food. Our issue was service. We actually wanted to spend more money here on additional drinks/dessert, but just left after dinner due to the poor service.

When we were seated, our waitress put the menus on the table and we were on our own for about 20 mins! Another waiter said he would take our order, but made it clear that he was not our waiter, he was helping out the waitress. We put in our order for both drinks AND food, since we had waited so long. Another waiter came and delivered our appetizers, but we still hadn't gotten our drinks! I asked where our drinks were and the waiter looked completely baffled, ran and got them. My drink was on ice, but my boyfriend's drink was warm (it was supposed to be shaken on ice beforehand, but obviously had been sitting on the bar for a while). Ordered additional drinks for dinner, which came after we were basically done eating, including a beer that was warm! Our waitress only came back to our table once to do a water refill. A different waiter got us our food/drinks/check. Normally, I wouldn't care, but it just felt like we were being ignored because we were technically in this one waitress's section, so other service employees weren't approaching us quickly because they were "just helping her out". Meanwhile she was having conversations with other patrons and seemed to be ignoring us. For the amount of money it costs to eat here, I would expect a higher level of service and it just wasn't up to par with other pricey restaurants in the area. We were not offered free drinks/dessert or something to make up for the service. Disappointed I spent so much money for my bf's birthday dinner that we had a hard time enjoying.

I haven't been to this restaurant for 15 years. The food was cold, horrible, the service even worse.
The staff never came back to our table to see if we needed another drink, water, NEVER. Considering this is suppose to be a top restaurant in the area, I would not recommend to anyone

My wife and I hadn't been to the Frog & Peach in probably 20 years, but went there recently for a pre-theater dinner. What a great experience. The restaurant itself is very cozy and tastefully decorated, with a nice bar and seating on multiple rooms on two levels. The service was attentive, but not overbearing, and the food was creative and very well prepared.

We definitely won't wait twenty years for our next dinner at Frog & Peach!

Went to the Frog and Peach for the first time with a group of 11 for a business dinner. The service was very good - the staff was attentive and helpful in making reasonable suggestions for a table of our size with different tastes/preferences. The food was flavorful with unique combinations and the drink menu provided an option for every beverage of choice. The wine list was extensive with great bottles priced right. We sat in the "greenroom" class enclosed structure which gave it a nice feel. I would recommend the Frog and Peach and look forward to eating there again when my travels take me to New Brunswick.

The food was overall pretty good. I think that the Spanish style rabbit had an underlying bitter taste due to the brussel sprouts in the dish. The presentation was a bit all over the place and could have been neater. Nevertheless, the food and service were good.

Matradee was very accommodating, so this earned an extra star. Waiter was trying, but lacked experience and was not knowledgeable about the menu. Food was OK - interesting flavor combination, but not my cup a tee. I found that mustard overwhelmed the rabbit flavor; escargot dish was sweet, so that was a bit unusual. Ambiance was good.

Had heard a lot about this restaurant over the years. Finally decided to try it for our anniversary. Service was good and the wait staff was attentive. The food did not live up to expectations. The beet salad was flat. The spaghetti was too salty. The creme brulee was eggy. Had great expectations but it didn't deliver.

Food and service excellent. We were early, so waited at bar, which was nice because had time to see intricate carvings in wood above bar. Then we were seated in a pretty room that partially used a winter wonderland type of decor. Shortly after we sat, we realized the table was wobbly and we really should have mentioned that to the attentive staff. I only mentioned it to a server on our way out. Had I mentioned earlier, they probably would have seated us elsewhere or found a way to fix the problem. Restaurant is expensive, but worth a visit once in a while.

We only ordered entrees. One balsamic steak one griggstown chicken. It took an hour for the food to come out, the place wasn’t crowded at all so no reason for it to take that long. They didn’t not allow any substitutions. My meal came with whipped potatoes and I noticed another one had sweet potatoes so I asked if I can have sweet and they said no because then the entree wouldn’t have a starch component, that doesn’t make any sense. But ok.

The marinated balsamic steak was ok, it isn’t an expensive cut so my hopes weren’t that high, but I wasn’t impressed. The chicken however was very good and I would highly recommend. They came with pumpkin grits, you didn’t really get the pumpkin flavor in them though, they were pretty tasteless.

We went for Thanksgiving, no need to do dishes. We had a nice table upstairs that looked over the entire place. The table was big enough that our kids weren’t on each other’s nerves.

They had a price fixed menu, which is great for budgeting. They had a nice appetizer for the kids of cheese, apples, and crackers. Our oldest had a great little salad. My wife had a very delicious beet salad. I had a crab salad which was also great.

Two of our kids had the turkey dinner, one had the mac and cheese, and my wife and I both ordered the beef. Everything was awesome and came out exactly as we had ordered.

Dessert for the kids was a choice between four soft baked chocolate chip cookies or vanilla and chocolate ice cream. They also had great adult desserts with little bits of liquor infused with the syrup. Once again my wife and I both ordered the same, brownie sundae with rum infused ice cream.

Great place!!!

We will definitely remember to go back!

We went for thanksgiving dinner and our evening was wonderful! Service, food and drinks exceeded our expectations in every way. I have never ordered turkey in a restaurant before but it was so delicious with all of the sides. So very good!

I liked it...the soup was a little insipid but healthy...I'm sure..tomato bisque or something. The blackened tuna was excellent. NB is clearly on the rise and this restaurant will be part of that.

Excellent service, beautiful ambiance, wonderful delicious food. The waiter & waitress were exceptional as was their presentation.
Solid wine list and excellent selection of whiskeys and after dinner drinks.
The white chocolate cheesecake was delicious!

The parking situation is awful. City valet parking supported by an app. Rude employees, difficult to use and no warning on 15 dollar fee. They even tried to turn us away initially to a tiny parking area that was obviously full before we got there. The app failed to alert us when the car was ready to leave as well. Not friendly, efficient or a good value. I suggest you get there early and park in a city lot to avoid this unpleasant parking "service".
