   Lovely pub and one of our favourites, but having booked a table for 8.45pm in a Friday we were told when we were seated that we only had 15 minutes before the kitchen closed. This should probably have been flagged to us in advance of our arrival as the whole experience felt very rushed, with the lowpoint being a waitress asking us to handover our napkins just as we’d finished our dessert, while they were still on our laps…! As a regular visitor this was a very below par experience, and I’d certainly think twice before rebooking, which is really disappointing to say.

   The food was absolutely lovely, really good quality. It is a little pricey, although for the quality it feels worth it.

   Having seen all the positive reviews We were looking forward to dining here for a special celebration for son’s 18th birthday. Seated relatively quickly, waited 25 mins and had to request someone to take a drinks order. Once order taken , starter arrived relatively quickly , 50 mins before main course arrived , food was quite tasty but very small portion sizes. No suggestion when ordering that we should have ordered sides with the meal. We didn’t have dessert. Overpriced particularly in view of service received. Definitely won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend.

   A very good experience, a choice of tables was a nice touch, being as 1st table was draughty adjacent to an open door. Good advice on choices of non alcohol beers. Excellent meal, no rush at all, Thoroughly lovely staff, exceptional head of staff

   Staff were a little slow to get drinks once seated, but overall service good, food delicious and atmosphere vibrant but could still talk easily. A wonderful evening for a 50th birthday!

   First time here, but will return some day. We really can't fault it. A lovely environment, great service and the food was really delicious and well presented. A bit more pricey than some places, but worth it.

   Great foodz service was great and a lovely place with loads of nice walks around it. What's not to like!!!

   Went with my wife and son for Mother's Day celebration..It was a glorious afternoon, so parking was a nightmare. Notwithstanding this, the staff at the Fox were welcoming, we were allocated a nice table and had a lovely meal. Good food and well prepared. Can't ask for much more 👍

   Disappointed that there were no mussels, there was an R in the month therefore they are in season (although head of F&B told the restaurant they weren’t). Brancaster Staithe had them in the menu…..suggest if you aren’t serving them, take them off the menu!! Fish pie also not as good as it used to be, much less fish, more potatoes and small portions!! Come on Anglian Inns, let’s get back to as good as your menu used to be! Service as good as always however!!

    Fabulous evening. Great bar menu, lovely team that served us. Could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend
