I was disappointed with the chicken cacciatore. No house salad included with entrees. Too expensive for an average pasta dish.

The Forum at the GREENBRIER HOTEL is getting better and better. My wife and I are homeowners and eat at The Forum many times during the Summer and Fall and it continues to improve each time we dine there.

Terrible food and very limited wines. NOISY and should not advertise as a fine restaurant on open table. Terrible meal and sat us not top of next table. So loud we couldn't not enjoy the meal and will never go back to this pizza place that thinks it has fine Italian food.

My colleague and I had dinner and a bottle of wine. He had the chicken parmesan and I had the spaghetti with Sunday sauce. Both dishes were very good and tasty, but enough food for about 6 people. Would appreciate it if they would offer smaller portions. Their Italian wine list was nice and not too expensive.

Veal piccata was not on the menu but chicken piccata and veal marsala was. It was a slow night, therefore I asked if they could do veal piccata and they obliged me charging me the same as the marsala; it was outstanding and the right amount of lemon taste. My husband had the chicken piccata which was equally good, and our friends ordered the margarita pizza, 8", which was plenty of pizza for them and they said it was very good. I ordered whole pasta but our waiter did not deliver it to the table and I thought it looked too white to be whole wheat but no one came to check on us until the manager came near the end of our meal. I asked her if my pasta was whole wheat and she said it was not; they gave me a discount due to this and I appreciate they took ownership and cared that I did not get what I ordered. My friend ordered anchovies on the side for her pizza and they bought whole anchovies out; they were difficult to chop up and unappetizing to her so she sent them back and they removed them from her bill. The atmosphere was very Italian with a blue & white them and music; I felt like I could be in Italy. I would recommend eating at the Forum over the main dining room at the Greenbrier. as we were very happy with our meals, the food is less expensive, and better.

Had to make several changes to the reservation and the Forum was very accommodating. Service was impeccable. Mediterranean salad and grilled pepperoni pizza were delicious!

This was the second time we dined at The Forum. If one is at the Greenbrier for a weekend or a business conference, this is one of the dining options which should not be missed. The food is primarily Italian; my wife had a dish of shells stuffed with ground sausage, spinach, and ricotta. I had spaghetti with a four-meat sauce. We sampled each other's meal, and both were fine. The service is top-drawer. The only issue I have with The Forum is that it would be much nicer with a more subdued noise level; still, it was at a level where my wife and I had no difficulty conversing. Thumbs up; we will return.
