The award-winning restaurant is not your grandfather’s steakhouse – although it once was. With its modern décor, ambiance and philosophy, The Forge has undergone a total makeover, the overall design and décor was executed by Francois Frossard. Walls of hand-carved blonde wood and antique mirrors, lilac and white crystal chandeliers, a wall of bubbles – are perfectly interspersed with the historical pieces that adorn the space. Every diner’s seat is “the best in the house.” The open floor plan of the 6,000-square-foot space allows guests to see and be seen. Executive Chef Julia Doyne presents a 65-item menu along with a delicious Dessert Menu. Finally, there's a labyrinth-like Wine Cellar with eight-rooms devoted to the rarest vintages in the world, and even a secret, lux private dining room, which seats up to 25 guests. The bar offers guest 64 Enomatic's wines by the ounce.

The Forge has an exclusive private dining room with a terrace for 30 to 250 guests. The board room offers a beautiful “Alice in Wonderland” style setting for 16 guests. The Library accommodates up to 40 guests with a fireplace. Easily one of the most elegant venues in Miami to have a wedding. Wi-fi though out entire venue. The Forge is available for private luncheons; board meetings; bar-bat mizvahs; birthday celebrations & holiday parties.

Sixty Four wines from Opus One to a more modest yet equally deserving pour, all are available in 1/3/5-ounce pours with the swipe of the “Forge Wine Card,” which works similar to a debit card system. Another set of enomatics can be found flanking the Sommelier Station, whose backdrop is the floor-to-ceiling crystal bubbles – a perfect stage for veteran executive sommelier Gino Santangelo to decant his vintages.

I ordered the ribeye (mid-well) and not only was it pretty raw for a medium well especially the center but it lacked flavor and taste. It was very very chewy.

We ate here on Valentines night. When we arrived, we went to the bar for a cocktail while our table was being prepared. I wish we had eaten at the bar!!! Our table was in the back in a boring looking room that was decorated like it was prom!!! We were definitely seated in a third rate location.
I could have gotten beyond that if the food had been fantastic. Sadly, that was not the case. The steaks tasted like they came from the grocery store down the street....very little flavor. In fact, the only dish that was properly seasoned and delicious was the kale salad.
I had high expectations for The Forge, but I found it to be a lot of style over substance and not even style in the dining room we were in!

Food was horrible! Steak over cooked, salmon burnt, lobster bisque was putrid, and reisling was bitter! Waited over an hour for our food! Over 30 minutes for our drinks! Management was supposed to come to our table but never did! There was only a handful of people in the restaurant and we had 10:30 reservations so volume wasn’t the problem. The only nice thing about it was the atmosphere! They must know their service is bad because the add in a 20% automatic gratuity! That is the only reason our waitress got a tip period! Will not go back EVER!

The noise level was so high that we could not speak normally at the table. The skirt steak were so confident had to be sent back. The Caesar salad said for two for $18 and it turned out to be $18 apiece

Steak was over cooked. Should not have been and server should have seen that before it hit the table, as it was a pre-sliced porterhouse. Service was spotty with a very long wait for the check.

Service was extremely poor, after 25 minutes they informed me that they were out of my entree choice. No bread offered, after ordering oysters.. we did not get any utensils. And on top, they add an automatic 20% gratuity
