Always great food ! Never disappointed.
Could not have been more delighted with our dinner experience! The food was adventurous and creative and yummy. We shared 5 small plates between 3 people and it was perfect. The fried oysters and the fiddlehead risotto were our favorites. The street tacos were pretty amazing too. Lots of life in this great spot!!!
I have lived in Hampden for almost 7 years now and this was my first time in to dine- totally kicking myself for that mistake lol. I cannot say enough about how good the food was. James was an excellent server, the drinks were spot on, and there wasn't one dish we ordered that we regretted. Standouts include the lobster fingers, the rack of lamb, and the mozzarella sticks.
I've only heard rave reviews for their brunch as well, so I'm hoping to visit again soon for that.
A very large thank you to The Food Market for making my birthday one to remember. :)
The service at Food Market was above and beyond. We were celebrating my fiancé’s birthday and our server made sure that everything was perfect. The drinks were amazing and uniquely crafted. We made a meal of small plates and were not disappointed by anything. The half baked blonde for dessert was just as the theme of this post...AMAZING. Highly recommend.
Great waitress and the food is always delicious. Not somewhere you want to go for a quiet dinner, but overall I highly recommend it.
Love this place!
Best restaurant in Maryland by far!! They have the best blackened tuna I have ever had.
Vibrant place. Pretty loud. We had lunch. Amazing thyme cocktail. Great street shrimp tacos , loved the roasted white corn in them. Disappointed in the side -a simple boring lettuce salad that came with it , think something like a jicama slaw or cilantro tomato salad would be better.
Great food and Jermaine was a great server. Make reservations because this is a hipster spot in a hipster neighborhood.
We let our waiter, Will, decide what we would eat and we were very happy! It was fun to be surprised with what was coming and the food did NOT disappoint. It was a group of 4 of us and the small plates were perfect for sharing. The fries are a must and the mini lamb chops are too die!
Love to order family style multiple dishes.
Quality of food not worth the cost. Did not used to be so. Really gone down hill or maybe it was an off night. My food was very disappointing and my daughter's steak was to "chewy." Service was mediocre.
I took my Mom here for mother’s day. This is actually starting to become our frequent Sunday spot. As always I had a wonderful time. This was my first time sitting the restaurant area instead for the bar and it’s a little cramped I must say but the staff was friendly and amazing per-usual so I couldn’t complain.
Fabulous meal! Great service!! Always love it there!!
The tables were too close together. I felt like there were people close enough to me that they could hear our conversation, and vice versa. I had a crab cake sandwich that I thought had too much filler in it, especially at the price of $20.
We celebrated Mother’s Day with brunch at this restaurant. Jermaine was our server and he was absolutely amazing!
Food Market never disappoints. Great food, vibe, and service - though Mother's Day was understandably crowded and it was a little slower than usual. Can't wait for next visit!
I have been to the Food Market several times before but never for a holiday meal. We made reservations several weeks in advance for 11:45 on Mothers Day for brunch. We arrived on time and were seated without any wait. The server, Jamal, was fun, energetic and outgoing. He answered questions and brought drinks promptly. Our order was taken and we relaxed and enjoyed conversation. The restaurant was busy but no too loud for easy conversation and not so crowded that we could not relax. Our food arrived and it was hot and delicious. Thanks for a lovely gathering. We will return.
The food was FANTASTIC!! The service was great as was the atmosphere. I've been here numerous times for both dinner and brunch and have never been disappointed.
The Food Market has to be without a doubt of the best restaurants in all of Baltimore. The other night made me realize that I do not frequent it enough.
Food was Delicious....Service was Great..... Drinks were Yummy....definitely recommend!!!!
Been going to Food Market for years. Lately there has been a significant decline in the quality of the food.
My dinner was cold and over cooked.
Do not have plans to return.
Food was excellent. Our server Andy was awesome-everything arrived hot and we were never rushed. Noise level was minimal -it was a tuesday. Highly recommend and can't wait to return.
every time in Baltimore visiting my daughter this is our first stop. its the best!!!
honestly the only thing i dont like is sitting on top of someone else and they can here your conversations. we try to come early so that its not too busy.
It was very loud in the restaurant and it was a Monday night! The food and service was very good.
Could not be happier with the service we received. Food and ambience always on point. Consistently great for a low key meal or for a celebration!
Delicious food every time!!!!
The food was amazing as always
Amazing food! Great service!
Overall an excellent experience. Wide variety of choices on the menu. Food was very well prepared and delicious. Service was very prompt. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
The food was great! Service and recommendations were spot on.
Food and service was excellent... definitely will return!
The food is amazing and the staff very friendly. We had a great night.
Wow. Our meal was amazing, the service was good, and the setting was just fine. The small plate of asperagus, ricotta and a delightful topping the name of which escapes me made my taste buds dance. Y'all. It was that good. Tender asperagus, creamy ricotta, and a flavorful, rich topping...I'll go back for that. I also got street tacos (yum) and a few bites of double bison burger (double yum!!) The space was loud, but really, what can be done when so many want to partake of this delish food?
Loved everything about The Food Market but the noise level. It’s very difficult to have an enjoyable conversation!
Nice restaurant for kids as well as adults - great vibe - parking - but they do have valet. Definitely recommend.
The onion ring French opinion soup is so delicious and the dish my husband and I always get. I love sharing a bunch of small plates. The cocktails and mock tails are great and the service was attentive.
Perfect Easter dinner. Our waiter was charming, helpful, and attentive. We shared the shrimp appetizer, short ribs, and blondie and I’m still thinking about how good everything was. The crowd was lively but you could still have a conversation. We even enjoyed the group at the next table who kept admiring our food. Lovely evening!
Great Food, great service
