Most of the food was good. Sea bass was over cooked and apple pir empanadas were still frozen on the inside. Would go back but would order other items.
Too loud for us. But otherwise, all went well. Service and food were especially good. We arrived early and were kindly seated in spite of the place being packed.
Highly recommend. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious.
Always a delight! Great food and service. They are also wonderful w/dietary restrictions.
Loved it as usual!
First time here, came the weekend after Valentine’s Day made a reservation in advanced and got sat right away. The food was amazing, we enjoyed ourselves very much. Looking forward to coming back and try different menu items!
A diner trying to be an upscale restaurant. Too noisy
The service was excellent, the food came to the table quickly. We went for brunch, and everything was delicious! We will definitely be coming back!
Family Valentine’s Brunch with my wife and 2yr old. Always an excellent experience here!
The Food Market is our first choice when friends visit from out-of-town! Never disappoints.
For a special occasion, the food market is a great spot. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. She brought me samples of wines when I couldn't decide which was unexpected and appreciated. The food was fantastic. We will go again.
Everyone in Baltimore my daughter and I come to enjoy your fabulous food and cocktails.
Honestly the only thing we don’t like is when you are against the walls and others can hear your conversation
We try to come st 5 before it gets too busy. Sending friends there next month.
Always a pleasure..... Five stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My partner and I really enjoyed our Valentine’s Day experience! We had the best waiter. I’m sad I can’t think of his name, but he was so professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious, and the drinks though a little overpriced did the job. We will be dining their again...
Food was excellent, as was the service. Fun Valentine's Day dinner!
Our food was excellent and so was the service. It was a little pricey but expected for the quality of the food.
One of my favorite places to go out and eat with my significant other, although on this night (Valentine’s Day), they seemed to be very quick to get you out of the restaurant. The food is always exceptional, although the portions for some of the higher marked items can be a bit below par, landing you a few dollars more expensive than at other restaurant with similar quality items.
The food is always great here, have not had a bad meal, however, many of the dishes are very salty. The ambiance is only fair in that it is usually busy which means it can be very noisy, and the seating is hard and uncomfortable for any length of time. Our server, Jermaine was excellent, efficient, personable, and enthusiastic!
Food was excellent, the wait staff was nice, but the price was a little high. Overall it was worth it.
Go for dinner, and if y9ou want to hear your friends, go before 7 PM when the noise starts getting crazy. Dinner menu is imaginative and satisfying, brunch not so much: good names but food that doesn't match up to it
Four of us had brunch last weekend. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks.
Food came out quick and was delicious
Everytime I come, I try something different and it's always amazing. One of my favorite restaurants without a doubt.
There is not one dish that isn’t fun, creative, and delicious! And who’s idea was it to put onion rings on top of French onion soup and turn it into an appetizer?! Genius!! Love this place!
Best restaurant I’ve ever been to, hands-down.
We came for brunch and the service was great, waitress kept coffee refreshed and was very attentive.
Love this place.
Bring back the shaved Brussel sprout and kale Cesar salad!!!!!!
Excellent meal with perfect size portions. A little noisy, but that was expected. Will go back!
Amazing. This place never disappoints! Creative food, tastes amazing, great atmosphere, and always a great experience!
The service was exceptional and the food fabulous. Fun and boisterous location but not too noisy. We had the short ribs, the duck confit, and the steak frittes. The short ribs won the meal with the duck confit a close second. The steak wasn't bad but it was out shone by the other dishes. The server knew her business and didn't hover or ignore us, just the right amount of attention and she had a good sense of humor. A pleasant evening all around.
Great food, great service, friendly staff. Worth the money.
great ingredients, well prepared, nice cocktail wine and beer list
Reservation made weeks in advance...waited 42 minutes to be seated. 3 hostesses..All they could do was look outside the tan curtain and look in the back 20 times and do nothing!..completely ignored the two dirty empty tables to help bus or clean them promptly. Food was average..not hot like it was sitting a while. Coffee was good. Won't be returning. We almost left and went to Cafe Hon across the street. Probably should have.
The food was very good and the presentation was great. The mimosa was plentiful and tasty. The service was just okay. Overall we enjoyed our meal a lot.
This was our 3rd time at The Food Market. It gets better each time. We love it!
This place was recommended by a co-worker as "the place to go". I totally agree. We made reservations for lunch because we could not get in for dinner. This place books up well in advance. The staff is top notch, we were not rushed at all even when there was a 45 minute wait. The food was absolutely a "10". You must try the french toast cream cheese fondue. The fried oyster omelet was so fresh and filling. All the food that past us looked amazing. The only negative was the noise level. It does get very load when it is crowded, but just ask people to speak up. We will be going back and I will be sure to make a dinner reservation many weeks ahead.
Friend’s birthday. Server presented a lovely complimentary dessert with a lit candle on the side of the plate. None of that embarrassing singing and clapping; a nice touch!
innovative and fresh food, exciting ambiance, inventive cuisine.
