Adorable restaurant with very good food! Had eggs Benedict and an omelette. Both were really good! 2 mimosas topped it off. The server was very friendly and accommodating, as well as the busser. I’d definitely go back! The brussel sprouts looked great, and the home made gnocchi sounded amazing!
Love this neighborhood spot, friendly staff, great cocktails and delicious brunch.
It appeared that there were plenty of staff working but our waitress seemed to be in the weeds. It took about 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge that we were at the table. We ordered 2 cocktails and 2 appetizers and told the waitress we’d order dinner when she came back. We got the appetizers about 30 minutes after we ordered them. A few minutes later my dining partner got her cocktail and then 10 minutes after that I got mine. The cheese plate was delicious and the sourdough bread was awesome. Once we finished them we tried to flag down our waitress but she never made eye contact. Just kept running by our table without looking even when I tried to speak to her. I’ve waited tables and I know things can get busy BUT just ACKNOWLEDGE people. When we finally got her attention instead of ordering dinner we just got our check and went somewhere else for dinner.
The Fly Trap is charming and unique. We really enjoyed our dinner. The service was great and all of the staff were very friendly. The menu isn’t extensive, but everything we ate was great!
Great restaurant if your in the San Francisco area. Menu was great value for the quality of food we got. Mushroom soup and roasted chicken were superb.
Our waitress, Jamie was fantastic and took care my friends and I! Thank you!
cute little place- food was pretty good. martinis were awesome.
Chris was an amazing server! We had a great time!
The gnocchi was delicious and my friend’s omelette was perfectly done. A great brunch on a very stormy Sunday.
We sat outside and it was magical! The restaurant is fun, eclectic and the menu is awesome! Highly recommend!
Great food and service
We went for happy hour but they only do high ball for happy hour cocktail, so we got regular cocktails + truffle fries. Fries are bit overpriced but tastes pretty good. Cocktails are ok too. Overall thumbs up for ambience, ok for food and drinks.
We were going to be late for our reservation and I called to let them know and they graciously forwarded our reservation 30 minutes. The blonde manhattan is a great play on a regular one. Very good. Chris, our server, described it as "Herbacious and tastes like Christmas in your mouth" and it didn't disappoint! Food (clam linguini, rigatoni and cheeseburger) was tasty, wait staff friendly and professional and Chris, our server, was outstanding! He helped us out with his expert recommendations. Our first time visiting and we will definitely be back. We had an extremely enjoyable dining experience.
I found this restaurant through Open Table and we loved it! The food was really delicious, and we had the best waitress! Their menu was creative, and also had 'regular' things on it. The wine was good (even though they had tons of beers), and we sat in a somewhat outdoor area...that was very fun! Our waitress was also completely enjoyable in that she not only provided great service, but she was very personable and helpful.
I would definitely go back and look forward to going there again in the future. It's a perfect place to go before going to the Giants games because of its location, but also just a fun place to enjoy a good, low-key meal.
It's a neighborhood favorite for an enjoyable atmosphere sitting outside, where it's quieter, friendly & personable staff and very good food at affordable prices.
Always an excellent experience. Perfect mixed drinks, ice-cold beer, crispy fries. We love it here!
Love this place! They have the most unbelievable moist hamburgers and everyone is so friendly. I just love this place!
Loved the outside dining and the attentive staff
The service is awesome, but the food was not great.
Fantastic place to eat with really great staff and management. You can tell the people working there are having fun and it shows in their great service. The food was delicious. It's a tough choice between the ribs and the burger. Go with both.
Loved it! Great service and we loved the food. We got the huevos rancheros and pancakes.
It was a sunny day and we wanted an outdoor dining spot. This place was great. We just shared appetizers and they were all great
Cute place. Great brunch.
The food was delicious! There is this new lounge area was such a VIBE! definitely can't wait to return to SFO and visit this wonderful establishment again.
Great experience. Really cute space with great food and service. Best of our dining choices on this trip to SF. We'll be back!
Wonderful all around! Excellent Aperol spritz and huevos rancheros
Our server ( i can’t remember her name ) was new working there and so lovely. She was sweet and attentive and fun and we will be back!
Delicious meal composed of shared plates and main course. Awesome cocktails.
Too slow and inattentive service
This place is such a neighborhood gem. Great craft cocktails as well as wine/beer selection ... super tasty food ... awesome staff.
Gorgeous bar seating - including high top tables to accommodate your group by the window - a super sweet outdoor dining space, spacious indoor dining, AND ... a NEW (shh-shh!!) secret hideaway, cozy, lounge-y space just around the corner. Your own little living room away from your living room. Except *this* living room has table service.
The Fly Trap folks have been THROUGH the pandemic wringer, and are coming out the other side BETTER THAN EVER. Check 'em out!!! You'll be glad you did . . .
Great date night atmosphere. Super friendly people and great food. The ribeye was delicious and cooked perfectly. Brussel sprouts were on point and the chocolate mousse is to die for! Super close to our hotel, The Clancy. We loved our experience here.
Great food and service. The outdoor area feels like a European cafe.
Although easy on/off 101, traffic during commute hours is a nightmare and parking is expensive/difficult before 6 PM. The food is most disappointing from the beginning to the end. The bartender is knowledgeable and the service is excellent.
The only feedback I have is that our food was not hot when we got it. It was not cold, but it was also not hot - and that would have likely made this a 5 star experience. The service, the cocktails, the food, were all very good and we will visit The Fly Trap again for sure.
Wonderful service and a simple but very good brunch menu.
Nice casual restaurant with friendly service and reasonable prices.
Late lunch on Saturday, 3pm. Only brunch menu available before 4pm. Options were limited but all were good.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Since it was in off-peak hours the room was fairly empty and allowed for easy conversation.
Will come back next visit in evening to try expanded menu.
Calamari was only crumbs (looked like it was from the bottom of the bag). The rest of the food was good. Hard to get the server’s attention at times.
Last minute change in venue……extremely happy with the experience.
Service was a little rude and slow but the food was good.
