   We were seated quickly and ordered our food. The waitress was very pleasant and accommodating when some members of our party wanted different things with their meal. It took a bit of a time to arrive but we don’t mind as I know it is freshly cooked. 4 of us had the roast beef Sunday lunch. 3 others had something different and everyone enjoyed their meal except two roast beef. The meat was so chewy and fibrous we could not eat it. The other two beef meals were excellent . No one came to check the table to see if the meal was ok so we carried on eating the rest of the meal and kept trying different parts of the beef but had to spit it out as it was not breaking down. The rest of the meal was delicious. We waited some time before our plates were collected and reported the meat being tough. They very kindly took the cost of the meal off for the two meals that were inedible. We had dessert and our table was needed so we had to leave.

   Very enjoyable evening. The best steak I’ve had for a long time! Staff were all very pleasant and service was great! Will definitely visit again!

   Very nice ambience, with a quiet but warm atmosphere. Staff were outstanding - very courteous and always around when needed. Menu is not particularly broad, but there is enough choice for most.

   Brilliant all round - couldn’t fault The Flowing Well. Please continue with the veggie choices. A veggie pie would have been nice as an option also

   Super choice of food and drink on offer. Portion sizes are really good with perfect service. Friendly and attentive staff. Super dog friendly too. Thoroughly recommend The Flowing Well. One of our favourite places to eat 👍

    We've visited The Flowing Well several times over the years and have always have good food, sadly today this was not the case. My wife had an burnt burger in a very cheap bun that fell apart. I had the Pie where the pastry case was so hard I wasn't able to eat it. Hopefully today was just a blip.
