Located on the shores of Ludlow Bay and overflowing with Pacific Northwest warmth, The Fireside Restaurant is an ideal setting for farm-to-table, locally-sourced food. The dinner menu changes daily to reflect the best our region has to offer with local, in-season ingredients.
The Fireside is open for lunch and dinner and provides a happy hour daily. Brunch is available in the restaurant on Saturdays and Sundays, and breakfast is provided for hotel guests daily.
The Fireside has garnered recognition for its wine program, winning the Wine Spectator ‘Best of Award of Excellence’ every year since 2011, as well being highlighted by the Washington State Wine Commission, Touring & Tasting Pacific Northwest Magazine, TripAdvisor, and it has been a Grand Award winner at the Washington State Wine Awards.

The Fireside is a favorite of ours and never disappoints. This visit was no exception. The food was excellent, and our server, Tanner, was outstanding. He was friendly, personable, and went out of his way to assist one in our party who had food sensitivities. Thank you for another wonderful lunch experience!

Have had better experiences at the Inn. Service was really slow this time and the server seemed annoyed to even deal with us. We had to ask other servers for help. We eat there almost every week so not the norm. Not much around here for locals...hope that new server learns or moves on.

Very low key dining. Didn’t have a full dinner since menu was limited and a bit overpriced. The basic Caesar salad with chicken added was ok, nothing special. Felt like dining in a retirement home which is basically what the residents of Port Ludlow are, retired. Staff was friendly but inexperienced due to limited number of people that probably dine there perhaps.

We were excited to try a farm to table restaurant but disappointed in the offerings at the Fireside. The quality is above average but overpriced. My entree of shrimp, quinoa and bokchoy was of moderate size, a bit too salty and the shrimp were not impressive. My date ordered the pork tenderloin and he said that it was not as tender as other tenderloins he has enjoyed in the past. The setting is intimate and the view is quite enjoyable but the food preparation could be improved. The service was attentive but slow between courses.

Our family enjoyed a fantastic Sunday brunch at Fireside. Service was very attentive, food was great with good portion sizes. Of course beautiful Ludlow Bay view.

Several items on the online menu were unavailable, including the penn cove mussels and Caesar salad. After we ordered we saw people get seated, order and eat their meals while we waited for our food. Finally the waitress said they somehow misplaced our order and it would be right out. We waited another 15 minutes and ended being served about 1 hour and 15 minutes after being seated. The food was mediocre and overpriced, we will never go back. And what restaurant can’t make a simple Caesar salad for 2 weeks like the waitress said? That’s absurd.

The server was lackluster and confused our order. The prime rib was overcooked and plated unappealing. The salad was bland. The white shrimp dish was good. We love the location and quaintness of this restaurant but are disappointed every time we try dinner or brunch. If you stick with happy hour or lunch you will have a better experience.
