The Fire Ratings and Reviews
Great restaurant in North Providence. The only issue we had was that we wish the waitress would have told us how big the pizzas were. We all ordered what we thought were personal pizzas.
They were huge and we could've ordered 3 instead of 6 and spent alot less money.
Still had a great time. loved the bar.
Great food and service here - its very friendly to people with lots of little kids which is great but don't expect to have a quite night out and carry on a conversation at your table. This place has a loud chucky cheese vibe when it comes to ambiance and atmosphere. This is great if you have kids or if you are like us want to remember what it was like to be able take your kids to a restaurant where it doesn't matter how loud your kids scream or cry because they will be lost in the din of the other 50 or so kids doing the same.
The wait staff can belt out the specials and there is no background music so you won't miss anything.
The pizza and other items here are great - really great. The next time I go will be after 9.
We went during Appy hour which was nice for the value portion.. Overall I think the food lacked salt.. I thought everything tasted a bit blah.. They clearly use fresh ingredients but it just wasnt super flavorful. Atmosphere and bar scene were pretty lively and creative drinks. Salad was VERY fresh.
We have eaten at the Fire a few times for dinner and enjoyed it so when we saw they were now serving Sunday brunch it was worth a try. So glad we did! Food and service were great, our server Nicole was always there when we needed her and was knowledgeable and very pleasant. We will definitely be back for brunch again. (and dinner too)
This was our first time at Fire, and we will definitely be back! Everything from start to finish was great! Our waitress Katherine was super friendly and attentive, she knew the menu, and was great with suggestions on what we should order, and the food was delicious!
The food is always amaxing and consistent. Service with Olivia was amazing, Derek always makes sure everything is perfect and this is why we keep coming back. Fire is my go to when I don't feel like cooking - which is too often since we have Fire right in our neighborhood!
Recently dined in a group of 8 at The Fire and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. They set us up at a large table tucked in the far corner of the restaurant, which felt cozy and private. Most of us decided to split a few pitchers of sangria and were pleasantly surprised that we were able to get 6 glasses out of each pitcher. Both the Winter and the Apple Harvest sangria were delicious. They brought out hot rolls with delicious dipping oil & whole cloves of roasted garlic - honestly I'd come back just for that. We then started with the Rosemary Garlic Wings and Calamari, both of which were excellent. After that we split 3 pizzas, all very good, and big enough that between the apps and the pizza we all left full. Our service was great all throughout the night, friendly, bringing food and clearing plates promptly while making sure not to interrupt any conversation that was going on. To top of the great food and service, the meal ended up being super affordable, which is always a plus with a large group.
This was my first experience at the Fire and it certainly will not be my last. We walked in and were immediately drawn to the centrally located bar. The bartenders were very welcoming and fun, the bar was hopping and it was an overall great vibe. Food was excellent!!! I do not know how they can offer such reasonable prices and put out such amazing products. The manager Jill stopped by to check on our experience multiple times, we love it when a restaurant goes out of their way to make you feel at home!
Was visiting my nieces and wanted good food at a nice place that was still comfortable and we found it! Had the antipasto tray and the signature 1-lb meatball for apps and a variety of the pastas for entrees - gnocchi, tagliatelle, linguini and clams and another I can't remember. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal. Service was prompt, friendly and very neighborly. We'll be back on my next visit to try the amazing-looking wood-fired pizzas!
Our experience was just okay. We were seated promptly but waited nearly 20 minutes before our server greeted us at our table.
Bread was hot and fresh, garlic oil was great, just needed some salt.
We skipped appetizers as we waited a very long time to place our order and filled up on the bread.
The entrees arrived rather quickly after ordering.
Chicken with farfalle was very bland. No seasoning or salt in the sauce, basically just plain thickened hot cream. Chicken was tender but also bland.
The Autumn Chicken seasonal special was wonderful. Moist protein, risotto was spot on and the summer squash was delightful. There was a bright and tasty sauce that surrounded the risotto that I'm definitely going to have to try to replicate at home.
We waited quite some time after dinner service to be presented with our bill. After the delivery of the bill, the credit card stayed peeking out of the top of the little black book for another day or so until our server returned to process it.
Despite the bright light that adorned our table and the lackluster service, dinner was not a bust. Just make sure to have table salt handy and your schedule cleared.
