The Fighting Cocks Pub and Riverside Restaurant is a unique dining experience. Voted Winners of Best tenanted/leased pub in the South East 2010 & 2011, Winners of Best Turnaround pub in the South East 2010, Winners of best Tenanted/leased pub in the UK 2010
Commended as one of the best Family pubs in the South East 2011, best family pub in the UK 2014 and one of the Top5 pub gardens in the UK 2017.
The pub incorporates a large purpose built conservatory overlooking a one and a half acre garden, backing onto the River Darent. The restaurant has built a fantastic reputation, serving well presented pub/restaurant food with excellent value for money.

Sadly there were building works at t front of t venue. We had one male person taking our order he was great and one lady who had a poor attitude and needs to cheer up. Steak and kidney puddings were not cooked enough the rest ordered were fine.

We sat in the bar area got served quite quickly our both meal was delicious with plenty on the plate had sticky toffee pudding with custard was simple delicious will be definitely returning soon

Party of 3 the fighting cock has been given a makeover since we last went and looks fantastic. Our waitress was charming , polite and on point the food was great. Opted for pie of the day with veg and mash it was delicious. Well done guys and girls . We will be visiting again

We sat in a wonderful conservatory overlooking the large garden. Lovely atmosphere and the food was fantastic. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely birthday meal with excellent service. The waiter even made my daughter a special mocktail. Would recommend and will be going back.

My first visit and I absolutely loved the experience. Beautiful pub and conservatory restaurant, friendly staff and well cooked food with a great choice. Definitely going again

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with friends. The service was good and friendly and the Sunday roast was excellent. The only small criticism was that the noise level in the conservatory made conversation a bit difficult.
