Excellent as always and such attention to detail. Service is above and beyond. It’s a wonderful gem in Charlotte.
Great service. Overall we had a good meal.
Veal chops, Elk chops, Sea bass,Salmon.
They made my wifes birthday a great experience.
What a wonderful restaurant- excellent food, extensive wine list, impeccable service! Michael was very knowledgeable and helpful. Fig Tree deserves its reputation as Charlotte’s best restaurant.
Always a great experience and the service is top notch from coming in the door to and leaving.
Yes, it is a little on the high side but they make your visit worth it.
Always an amazing experience. I would eat the elk chop every day if I could, lol. Service is wonderful.
Great food and service! We started with seared foie gras, which is hard to find in the US. It was delicious, about as good as seared foie gras you'd find in France. And the waiter offered some Sauternes wine to pair with it. We then had Elk and Sea Bass for our main courses. Delicious as well. Pistachio bar for dessert, amazing as well. The wine list is fabulous!
Best food, best service, best restaurant in Charlotte.
The best restaurant I have ever been to in Charlotte!
It was wonderful.
A wonderful restaurant! So glad we didn't change our plans even thought we had been touring gardens all day and were tempted to stay in. So glad we didn't.
We love this restaurant! It never fails on service and food, not to be missed!
My wife and I were in town for the evening and were fortunate to have found the Fig Tree. Our reservation was available on time, service was attentive without being intrusive, food was prepared perfectly and absolutely delicious.
Extensive wine selection and a knowledgeable staff to help you select a complementary beverage.
Wonderful dessert and coffee after our meal.
I highly recommend a visit to enjoy for yourself!
Bad service and the table on porch had a make shift service table next to it.
Food and service were both excellent. Very pricey, but well worth the money. One of the better meals we've had in Charlotte.
Expensive but worth it for a splurge! Old craftsman house was a cool vibe, the stained-glass windows in the little bar were really neat. Everyone wished me a happy birthday several times over and made it extra-special. We had the elk and lamb entrees and hey were both delicious.
Friendly, personable staff, lots of menu choices, quiet and reserved dining area making it ideal for conversation
Our service was excellent from start to finish. It gave us the time, we talk a lot but eat fast: just perfect. I believe our head waiter was Jennifer. This was only surpassed by the food. My wife had the Chilean sea bass special and I had the veal chop. 4 👍Up. It was our wedding anniversary and the entire staff recognized it. Excellence through out. But we need at least 3 months to get our bodies back in shape😜 before we can return.
My wife and I dined at the Fig Tree to celebrate her upcoming retirement. This definitely makes it into our top 10 of the best dining experiences we've ever had in 45 years together: fantastic food, excellent service, wonderful space.
Another great meal at the Fig Tree. The service was fantastic, professional and attentive.
I had the Elk chop which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The cabbage side that was served with the elk deserves special mention, I would enjoy that every day.
My partner had the lamb which was outstanding. She also had the octopus and we agreed it was the best octopus dish either of us have tried.
The only small nit was the bread was just a bit underdone.
Strong work Fig Tree, strong work.
Hands-down, the best restaurant and dining atmosphere in all of the Charlotte Area. It's got a special vibe, from the romantic setting to the food to the service! They treated my wife and I to a very special evening for our anniversary. This was our second time at Fig Tree, and both times they knocked it out of the park. Fig Tree Rocks!
Their porch is our very favorite spot in town and their food and service are unparalleled!
Overall, very good. Ambiance was small rooms in an intimate elegant house. Service was very good. Salad that came with the meal was not a fresh as it should have been.......iceberg lettuce cut up too small and not enough baby greens. Scallops could have used more sear and the center was a bit undone. Desserts were outstanding. Cocktails were inventive....the smoky carrot margarita style was a miss...out of balance much too smokey. but appreciate the creativity.
The ambience and food was great as well as the service. I had a good experience and would return.
We were celebrating our anniversary and we had such an enjoyable evening! The service was outstanding and the food delicious. I think this was the finest food I have eaten in Charlotte. This will now be our go to restaurant to celebrate a special occasion.
Fabulous meal. Can’t say enough about the whole evening. Wine list was great, with reasonable markup. Cocktails and bar service professional, knowledgeable and cordial. Wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly yet professional. The food was amazing. One of the best meals we’ve had in a few years. Definitely a place to visit regularly, though not inexpensive. Can’t recommend it enough.
Amazing place. If ambience, service, and food is what you want, this is your place. Wine list is beyond extensive
Ask for Eddie. Great and patient server. Knows the menu and history of the place extremely well.
This was my second time dining at The Fig Tree. It was as good this time as it was the first time!!
We enjoyed ourselves; the birthday girl was very pleased with the evening.
Two simple words to summarize my visit: elk chops. A must-order. Jennifer was so much fun and sooooo knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. Food was exquisite. I will be back next time I visit Charlotte!
The food was delicious. The ambience not so much. Pretty sterile and not conducive to dining and good conversation.
Delicious food, nicely paired wine, great music, priced right.
We love The Fig Tree and often choose to go there for special occasions, such as last week's anniversary celebration. While the experience was still lovely in many ways, it wasn't the same value we've come to enjoy over the years. They were 20 minutes late on our reservation. The bartender spilled my mixed drink while pouring it. The appetizer was so-so. The glass of wine I received had a mouthful of sediment at the bottom that had to be spit back into the glass -- super yuk! There was no mention (other than the moment we arrived) that we were celebrating our anniversary. And no one seemed very concerned about any of these issues. Don't get me wrong, the salads and entrees were stunningly delicious -- as always. And the service was a little too attentive -- but no dings there. It's just that an evening at The Fig Tree is not an inexpensive event and we've come to expect more. I'm sure we'll still go back, but my enthusiasm has been dampened for sure. Sigh!
We always enjoy the Fig Tree! The food is excellent and the staff is beyond helpful and knowledgeable. We had wonderfully delicious appetizers, entrees and dessert.
Exceptional dining experience. The service was layered, excellent and personable. The food presentation was fresh and detailed.
Great evening. Food, service, ambience were all great.
It was a great experience as always- delicious food, nice ambience and excellent service.
The Fig Tree continues to be one of the best dining experience in Charlotte. Wonderful service but never intrusive. Fine dining without stuffy atmosphere. They play jazz in background at right sound level. From bread to dessert all our meals were exquisite presentation and flavor.
My lamb in particular was the stand out in tenderness and cooked to perfection with fig risotto. The fish entrees and filet also were delicious and proper portions. I wish this restaurant was closer to where we live however the drive is always worth it.
The food and the service was greatI ,has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte.
