Great experience. Really friendly people and nicec atmosphere. We really enjoyed eating at The Fieldhouse.
We have been frequenting the Fieldhouse for a few months now. Especially appreciate the fact that they change up their menu and have vegan options. Really nice staff.
I was looking for a place to get a healthy meal while in Billings on a business trip. The Fieldhouse fit the bill. The food was incredible, from the Brussels Sprouts with a Cashew Parmesan crust and a sun-dried tomato aioli, to the Salmon and Lentils in Red Curry. Just when I thought it couldn't get better, they topped it off with a raspberry brownie with homemade vanilla ice cream. Everything was fresh, local, and delicious. The service was top notch and the atmosphere is relaxing and modern. When I am next in Billings, I will be going back. If you are local, you need to go!
My brother and I went for an early dinner. We started with the tartare and the meat & cheese board. Both were excellent, the bone marrow was the standout feature between the two appetizers. For the main entrees my brother went with the ribeye which had a well developed crust while still being perfectly cooked throughout. I went with the duck breast and was thrilled by the medley of flavors throughout the dish. It was a little on the expensive side for local area dining options but in my opinion well worth it. We both will be going back again.
One of my favorite restaurants in Billings! Love it every single time!
We love The Fieldhouse because it is a smaller, quiet environment. The food is unique and tasty!
My fish (sockeye salmon)was hard and dry inedible...my salad had poppyseed salad dressing had probably 2 million poppy seeds in it,couldnt eat it,so many it looked like clumped up caviar... The actual salad part of it was good, the dressing was over run with poppyseeds....#overkill...not happy. The Brussels were great tho!
Great place for brunch .
Always enjoy our meals at Fieldhouse. Locally owned and Local ingredients. Friendly atmosphere and great service.
Our Favorite place!
As always, the food was exceptional! We brought friends who had never been before, and they loved the food. They will definitely be back.
Our server - Ava - was attentive and wonderful. We had an amazing brunch and look forward to returning for incredible food and service again soon.
Every time I come to Billings I’m shocked at finding another fantastic meal.
The meals here were phenomenal. Taste, presentation and flavors were original and executed well.
We will certainly be back.
We wanted very much to like this local farm-table restaurant. We had enjoyed a wonderful meal a couple years earlier. Unfortunately, this time the scallops were under- cooked, the salmon over-cooked and way over-salted, the salad over-dressed, the portions minimal not minimalist. The staff was terrific, but the food let them down. We are hoping that the kitchen just had an off night.
Great! Our waiter was wonderful! Thanks
Delicious food & good accommodation for my vegetarian inclinations. I came back for breakfast the very next morning. The Fieldhouse is one of my favorite places in Billings.
We loved the healthy, fresh menu and great selection of wine. This was our second time here as we’re visiting from Chicago.
We had a great experience for dinner. The food and service were both outstanding!
We had The Fieldhouse recommended to us by several colleagues on our trip and they weren't wrong! We wound up just getting a bunch of appetizers to share and everything was delicious. Probably our least favorite was the cheese plate, but that is saying a lot because all of the food was great.
Nice menu with a good variety. I appreciate the creative flare and presentation of each meal. I enjoyed the Mimosa special. Very tasty. Our waiter was well versed on each item on the menu we asked about. All the staff seemed to be cheerful and ready to serve.
Food was great! We were going to Blues fest, and they got us in and out quickly! We sat on the deck for a beautiful evening!
Love the Fieldhouse. My only complaint is that they don't have one or two options for those of us who are WFPB (whole foods plant based: nonprocessed, non-dairy, no meat, no oil/fat, eaters). I don't mean "just salad either ;D
Wonderful experience! Love this place! My new favorite!
The Fieldhouse is always a great option for dining in Billings! You must try the roasted brussel sprouts - delicious! They’ve updated their menu for summer with some great new dishes. The meatloaf sandwich is amazingly flavorful. Enjoy!
This was the best restaurant on our travels. The food and service were amazing. Food was beautifully prepared and fresh. A garden out back is where they get their delicious greens and vegetables. The service was over the top. Great wine list and we appreciate the rare wines and some geeky selections. We will go back. Just incredible
Fun breakfast out by the train tracks!!!
Having never been, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised. The burger was delicious! Their strawberry rhubarb crumble was to die for and made with local food. We can’t wait to come back again!
Our evening was very good. My husband enjoyed the various appetizers he chose. My daughter who loves scallops did like those and the corn was not too spicy. I enjoyed the variety. Also as we were off sitting in the corner it wasn’t too overly loud as there was a big party on the other side.
Amazing vacation experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better night. Thank you!
I went by myself for dinner looking forward to the Spanish octopus dish on their menu. Told they no longer carried it so had to settle for the trout. The preparation was ok but fish tasted fishy. I thought it was overpriced for Billings. Had a glass of House Chardonnay. It was ok but not spectacular and certainly not worth the $13 price. Server was attentive and pleasant.
Although the menu is slightly limited, we enjoyed great food, and even better service.
We were visiting from the Seattle area and the field house was on par with any farm to table concept from Seattle
Sunday brunch outside on the patio on a beautiful Spring day. Delicious!
Great as usual!
Billings is our midway stop between Denver and Whitefish largely because The Fieldhouse is in
Billings. After a glass of bubbles, we shared the special appetizer of shrimp, butter lettuce, and avocado and the octopus starter. The former was spot on, especially the lightly pickled shrimp. The octopus, while delicious, was overwhelmed by the romesco sauce, which masked the flavor of the octopus itself. Then we shared the prime rib of pork. YUM! Desert was a wonderful strawberry and rhubarb crisp, just sweet enough that it did not clash with the rest of the red wine that was left in the bottle. As usual the service was warm and attentive. I think every person in the front of the house spoke to us. Can you tell why we always come back? That won't change. See you in August. Thanks so much. Happy 6th anniversary!
Has the chorizo and eggs it was some of the best food I've had. Very satisfied and look forward to going back again. It had the Huckleberry pancake and it was also incredible.
Took my husband and son for a birthday celebration. The food was phenomenal and the dessert was a huge treat. Would recommend and will be back soon.
My friend and I each selected the challah french toast. The presentation was nice and the bread was delicious. I did not care for the syrup on the french toast. It looked like maple, but I don't think it was. I prefer maple or a homemade fruit syrup/ or fruit compote.
The server was most attentive and very nice.
I brought my kids after a soccer tournament and it was delicious, comfortable and overall, a very pleasant evening!
Been here many times before for dinner, so thought we'd try out the brunch. And it did not disappoint. Going back in the near future.
I took myself out for my birthday. The food tasted great but the frittata was cold. I wasn’t sure if it was meant to be served at that temp so I didn’t say anything. I asked the server and she said it should have been warm and that she would let the kitchen staff know. It won’t keep me from coming back. I thought it was all good. Thank you.
