The venue is amazing! Old 1920s architecture sets the mood. Head downstairs to the Speakeasy for one last drink! The food is not what I expected. Very gastropub type food. Burgers, fries and some Asian bowls. I wouldn’t go there just for the food. The drinks and ambiance is what makes me coming back.

Great looking place to enjoy a nice easy Sunday brunch. The service was pretty average not the best not the worst. Food was reasonably priced but not all that memorable.

Great historic building, with an interior to match. This was our first time at this restaurant. The food was terrific, but experienced a few problems involving food preparation and service. Aside from this, my husband and I liked the food and the atmosphere and will try it again. All of the staff were friendly and eager to please, and we did like the food.

We went on New Year's Eve at 6 PM. We were forced to sit next to the front door that would open constantly and freeze everyone in the vicinity. The staff was even constantly bringing in deliveries if ice through the front door.

To add to that the Moscow Mules we ordered were in no way a Moscow Mule. They we're some ungodly mix of disgusting served in a glass cup.

The sea bass and vegan options were bland. Given we only had 5 options on the menu it was pathetic the options weren't great. The parties seated around us we're visibly disappointed with their food as well.

The only good thing there was the desert.

The space and decor was beautiful and pleasant. We enjoyed the cocktails and our appetizer arrived quickly. The bacon brussel sprouts appetizer was tasty and well cooked. Ultimately, the food was good but not great. What stood out the most was that the service fell short. The server was great up until she had to go on break 10 minutes into our arrival. From then until she returned from her break we were barely attended to in the slightest and had to ask a host to find a server so we could order our dinner. This could have been an oversight as I’d like to give them a little benefit of the doubt but I was not left feeling like I wanted to return to this establishment after our experience. A simple acknowledgement of the lack of attentiveness to our dinner probably would have gone a long way for me.

The drink menu was great, and tasted delicious. The food was good, we came for brunch and it came out very quick. We waited to be greeted for over 15 minutes, when we were server dropped water and left without saying anything about drink orders or food, waited another ten minutes she came back and took our order we didn't see her again the whole time. A different server dropped our food, and we had to ask the hostess for the check.

Good food and atmosphere but the service was terrible. The server ignored us after the meal was ordered and avoided our table after a very long wait to avoid answering questions about the delay. Then she was condescending when the food was finally delivered with no apology for the delay. Big attitude.

The seating was poor at best. There was no one in our area and they sat us by the door. They also called prior to the reservation to warn me that there was a 2 hr. maximum at each table. Kinda weird to receive the call.

Mediocre experience. The brussel sprouts appetizer was amazing, but the steak was just ok. Also, they were out of many of the beers and drinks on the menu. And finally in my reservation it was mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, but a birthday dessert was not offered. Overall the food was a bit better than the service, not sure I’ll rush back anytime soon.

We recently had the opportunity to dine here. The building was a bank back in the 1920's. There is charm everywhere you look. Our server, Tiffany, was great. She knows her menu and helps guide us toward some perfect choices for our meal. We started with the bone marrow and pretzels. The bone marrow came with bread pieces, dried fruit, wholegrain mustard, nuts and a mixed green salad. The pretzel had two dipping sauces, a mustard sauce and a cheese sauce both were really well balanced and played well with the pretzels. For our main courses, my husband had the Federal Burger, cooked to order, and was cooked perfectly to the temp requested, as well as a cup of the chowder. He really enjoyed the soup. I had a feta chicken salad which is quite large and scrumptious.

Everything about our visit was "off" to say the least, drink order was messed up, after the replacement drink didn't come for awhile I headed to the bar to find out what happened? Met our server half way and she said something about being busy vs sorry for the delay. Three in our party ordered the biscuit and jam with breakfast, just before our order came out someone { not our server } came to tell us the biscuits were all burned. I might suggest the staff not tell customers the kitchen is burning food....maybe they could say they're out of biscuits for the day? And then our bill was wrong and had to be corrected...off...really off.

2ND time we have tried here and left before ordering. The first time it was because there were only tall tables, which did not work for all of our party due to health issues.

This time the noise was deafening (brunch), excaberated by live music. As we waited at our table for about 10 m minutes trying to hear each other talk, we never saw a waitperson or bus person. No acknowledgment, unpleasant ambience.

No thanks. We have plenty of money to spend and will spend it elsewhere.

The decor in the restaurant is beautiful
The high ceilings and decor made the room appear so spacious and glamarous.
The chandeliers were beautiful.
There was a party of 20 people for a birthday, and they fit with no problem.
Leaving plenty of space for other clientel.
There was a bar area that had a beautiful and tall cabinet for the liquor.
There was a flat screen TV showing a couple of football games.

The server was attentive despite the large party.
The food was delicious and very reasonable for the price which included the bottomless mimosas. The bloody mary was also excellent. Will definitely go back and look forward to trying their regular menu.

The bartender put my single malt in a chilled glass, which in turn watered down my drink from all the frost inside the glass. I appreciate the initiative but they really should be more cognizant of little things that can ruin the drink.

THe building isn’t gorgeous, loved the interior. Feels dark, but the big windows lets just enough light in. Food was delicious, service was awesome. Brunch is great, bottomless mimosas were great, they fill up a decanter and leave it for you which I really appreciated!

First time we came here was purely out of coincidence - Happened to run into the place when our reservation for a different restaurant didn't work out.
Second time tonight & we are still in love with the place. Unfortunately , they got rid of the maple sweet potato tots, which we were looking forward to having, but the server was very helpful in giving us new suggestions to try & we were not disappointed! Love the ambience of the place & the food. We'll definitely be back for another date night!

Love love love the vibe here. Food was great. Ambiance is gorgeous.

Didn't enjoy our experience much because we felt neglected due to a big party that was in our dining zone. Our waitress stopped by our table in 30 min increments. So we went ahead and ordered our drinks at the bar x3 rounds since she wasn't there when we needed her.

Drinks were inconsistent. The bar tender at the whiskey bar (in the back) was the only one who knew how to make majority of the drinks that we ordered, overall, he was friendly and very helpful. The other bar tender in the main dining area was nice, but made a few errors with our orders/drinks.

We just assumed that this is the typical treatment guests get for dining on a Friday night - inconsistent and inattentive.

I noted a birthday celebration when I made reservations. It was not acknowledged at all - what's the point of making reservations and stating reasons why we were here then?

Overall, our party felt neglected and ignored.

When we booked our reservations a month in advance, we didn't see restrictions like a 2 hour table time. We were also seated at the entrance on uncomfortable chairs and when we asked to be moved to the main dining area with a booth as all were open, we were told that the area doesn't open till 7 pm. Our dinner reservation was for 6 pm, which to us is dinner time! When we received our food, steak, lamb and meatloaf.... oh my... everything is smothered in the same sweet teriyaki sauce , the carrots were so raw I would need a steak knife to cut it. The birthday brownie was more like a boxed chocolate cake. So disappointed as this was suppose to be special for my husbands birthday. The speak easy is another story, rude service!! Bathrooms downstairs were disgusting, the upstairs bathrooms were overflowing with trash at 6 pm! That had to have been from the day before! And no toilet paper in ladies bathroom! We will never be back!! This place is overrated!!

The server Emily was extremely rude. She told us at 2:01 that we were there for over two and half hours when my reservation was at 12. I recommended this place for my friends and I to get together, and that just left a bad taste in my mouth. She never came to check up on us either. We would be finished with our drinks and she wouldn't come back for 20 minutes. Extremely disappointed and won't be going back.

I visited this restaurant when it first opened and it was awesome. So when my friends birthday came around , I choose this spot to make a special evening for her. However, our party of five got sat in a dark booth next to another huge party, even though the rest of the dining room was completely empty. Our server ended up being rather busy dealing with the large party and left us alone most of the time we spent there. We had a couple of Vegans in our group and the restaurant listed several vegan options on the online menu. However once we began ordering the waitress let us know they don't have Vegan options everyday, only "sometimes".
We were hoping for a nice meal and ended up getting a salad. And our meat eater friends food ended up taking forever and came out cold. We did a lot of waiting around during our visit here. And for some reason all the wall scone lights were turned off, which made the table extremely dark in a bad way! It sounds nice, but was actually really annoying. What saved our trip here was going to the Parlour Bar downstairs. It opened at 9pm as we finished our dinner. This place was so cool, and had a great funky band playing live music. Best part of the night for us!
