Absolutely lovely meal the feast is one of our favourite restaurants on AMI.
I'm never disappointed with their salmon and salads!
The feast was the perfect place to have an upscale, delicious meal and still feel comfortable bringing our children with us, congratulations to the feast for having that right balance. The lobster/shrimp risotto was incredible!
Our food was very good. Our service was very good as well!
It is a nice restaurant. The staff are very nice and friendly. The tables are close. The food is good but not fantastic. It would not be our first choice to go back to
We love The Feast and all the servers. We have known Ken for a long time and are always excited to see him again!!!!
We have lived on the Island full time since 1999 and owned since 1995.
Food was good and service was excellent
Selected because they take reservations. Had been one other time. Everyone enjoyed their entree- one steak, one special and one hogfish.
Disappointed the special did not come with any type of side w/ greens/vegetables, because it was “pasta” - therefore felt it was overpriced- as it was well flavored but short on the seafood.
Checkin was quick. Wait staff did fine and we were thanked on way out the door.
Consistently great food and attentive service. Interesting salads and excellent fresh fish.
Very nice all around
I went with my two daughters, one of 3 years old and the other one who eats breast. We ordered the fish you can eat and when we asked for the first refill we were told we could not because we were sharing with the babies. We told him that one does not eat and the other only ate a little because he ate many of our cookies. They told us that was the rule.
We stop here every time we're on Anna Maria. Great food !!!
This was our first time dining at The Feast. We got right in at our reservation time and were seated at the window. It was very crowded and noisy in the restaurant.
The food was fine, but nothing special. I had Hogfish Sanibel which was a bit bland.
With all of the excellent restaurants on the island, we probably won’t return.
Good food and service. Very crowded eating area. Poorly decorated. Not relaxing atmosphere.
Arrived for 7pm reservation and we were told the restaurant was full and we would have to come back in 30. When we did return, it took 45 mins to get any food and the server forgot the appetizers (no apology on this). Food was just fine, not particularly tasty and certainly not worth the wait.
Food & service great....as before. All 3 of our entrees priced on bill $4-5 higher than menu prices. Would have ordered same at “real” prices, but have bad taste from questionable ethics.
The food was out of this world amazing. Service was great! Only down side is the place is small so the tables are really close together which made it a little loud. But definitely worth visiting!
This has been one of our favorite restaurants, but on this night three of us have noticeably overlooked fish.
Love the food and service at The Feast. They also have the best pizza.
Food, which was very average, took 45 minutes to arrive.
The Feast has been one our favorite places since it opened. The food is usually very good, as well as the service. However, on this last visit the food was not as good as it had been in the past, and the service was not very good. We did not get any silverware until our meal was served and then had to ask for it. The noise level is very load. We have noticed the extremely load noise level for the last several times that we have been there. It is a very popular place and I would highly recommend that you make reservations. We had a 7:30 PM reservation and were seated very promptly. Even though we didn't have the best food and service this visit we chalk this up to just one of those nights, and will be back in the future.
We enjoyed our meal at Feast in Holmes Beach. Wine list is decent and the markup isn’t crazy. We had the Whispering Angel Rosé which is one of our favorites. We had fresh tasty salads. Enjoyed the dressing on the Greek one more than the house dressing which we couldn’t identify. We ordered another appetizer of fried green tomatoes which came with the entree. We have noticed that happens a lot here on Anna Maria Island and are going to start not ordering the entrees until we have finished the apps. I don’t like scrambling when wait staff comes with hands full and we have to deal with apps and entrees. The shrimp lobster pasta was delicious. Too full for dessert.
I hear the pizza’s good. Not the fish.
Excellent food and service. Would definitely go back!!!
Best coconut shrimp I ever had!
Worst key lime pie I ever tasted. I won’t say ate because we didn’t. You’d be better off to try the citrus cake which they buy from a good bakery.
Always a good meal....we have been coming to the Feast since the day you opened the doors!!!
Always a treat to eat at The Feast. Good food, good service.
FOOD IS VERY GOOD. BUT THE ATMOSPHERE IS NOT CONDUCIVE TO A RELAXED MEAL. SIXTH TIME WE'VE EATEN THERE. THERE IS A NEED FOR THIS RESTAURANT AT AMI. TIME TO MOVE TO A LARGER LOCATION.
Best restaurant on the Island. It never disappoints.
The taste of our entree was ok. Nothing special. We got the chicken dish with mixed vegetables. The vegetables had no flavor at all. The worst part of the meal was the decaf coffee. It was bitter and very watered down. Neither of us drank it. Maybe we just ordered the wrong item but in general dinner was very disappointing. We won’t be going back.
EXCELLENT food and service, but prices are high. Location is in a small mall area with other stores next door. I enjoy the lobster and shrimp!
We had a great meal, but of seat was right where everyone enters and leaves the restaurant. We wii definitely go back there on our next visit to Holmes Beach, hoping for a more favorable table placement.
A really fine dinner for our party of four. Alex, our waiter, was attentive and engaging. Portions were definitely generous -- we're still working on them as leftovers! A very pleasant noise level -- we were able to have conversations without raising our voices. A definite "must" for visitors to the area.
We had a four o’clock reservation and were able to use the lunch menu. The best scallops ever. They melt in your mouth. All of their food is very good.
Very disappointed!! Both food and service was bad. We were so excited based on other reviews, but my Hogfish Sanibel was awful. Fish was dry and bland, sauce was bland, steamed carrots that came with it were bland. Our other dish was the Snapper. Fish was good, but sauce was bland and carrots were bland. And the sweet potatoes were OVER seasoned. Our waitress, Olivia, barely spoke and never came back to check on us after taking our order. The manager left the front and brought us our food and made excuse for Olivia not being around. But it continued when manager came back and took my CC to run our bill. We will NOT be back!!
Great food, bleak atmosphere!
The food was mediocre at this restaurant. We found other restaurants nearby where the food was much better, so I would not return to this restaurant.
The best pizza I’ve had in years! My husband enjoyed a fish entree. Super fast and friendly service. Busy night in high season but we were pleased with everything. Casual dining for couples or families. Will definitely return.
This once hidden treasure, is our absolute favorite restaurant on the island. We’ve been frequenting it before it was discovered and reservations became a necessity. Happy to see it flourishing! Hands down The Feast offers the best salads I have ever eaten in any US city that I have visited. And, I eat a LOT of salads. The dressings are so flavorful. Ingredients incredibly fresh and bountiful. Would I recommend it? We always do to anyone visiting the island or the Bradenton area.
A hidden gem! Best food on the island and reasonably priced. Great wine list too. They have a variety of foods: seafood, meat, pasta. They only serve beer and wine-no hard liquor so have a cocktail before you go.
