I was very impressed with the food, service and general ambiance of this place. It is a lovely "Farmhouse" with the great farm to table concept which is reflected in the obvious and enjoyable freshness of their food. Will definitely be back.

I've had brunch and dinner at the Farmhouse many times over the past four years and they never disappoint me. This time I went with two friends, and this was their first experience at the Farmhouse. Our meals were delicious, fresh, well prepared and presented. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was really good. I love this place!

Nice atmosphere but adequate food and service. We ordered yeast rolls for the table and they were stale. Main dishes were ok but nothing memorable. White wine was served warm. Service was adequate but there were several picky eaters in my party and substitutions could not be accommodated. This is the third time I have been to the Farmhouse. The first time (Summer 2014) was a fantastic experience - delicious food and wonderful service. The second and third time were very disappointing. I will not go back.

The menu is limited - The main course was very good the service was slow, feel it was the kitchen fault, not the server. Great deal on happy hour drinks. The occasion was my my 78 birthday, thought they could have compete, my desert. $166.00 for party of 4, before gratitude. If you are going to the Serenbe Playhouse give your self at least 2 hours for dinner.

The appetizers were great, but the entrées left quite a bit to be desired. The steak was overdone, and the server never asked what level of doneness was desired. The chicken was overly breaded, with very little meat. Service was very slow, even though we were trying to go to the Serenbe Playhouse show immediately after.

Meals were outstanding, service was too aggressive for me. They were obviously under orders to turn the tables over.

Not really knowing what to expect, we arrived for dinner before a performance of Evita at Serenbe's nearby Playhouse. A terrific meal was served in a farmhouse-type setting and was every bit all we could have asked for. The trout was perfect and so was the pork chop and don't miss the bourbon chocolate pecan pie for dessert. We really look forward to a return visit and this spot is very worth the drive.

Serenbe is a great getaway from Atlanta, though less than an hour's drive away. There can be a few miscues with the service, and not every dish is equally successful, but overall the experience is satisfying. This is the real meaning of "farm-to-table."

Our first trip to Serenbe included a brief drive to explore, a glass of wine on the Farmhouse porch accompanied by a half-dozen butterflies, and a lovely dinner. The tasting dinner was quite reasonably priced so we splurged on a bowl of olives to start. First courses were the hoecake with very fresh veggies - pretty good - and a terrific chilled tomato soup. Pork chop was excellent, smoked elements of the ratatouille made it a substantial vegetarian entree. Coffee, pecan pie, panna cotta to wind up, then a pleasant stroll to the Playhouse for Evita. Our tiny quibble with our meal is that we left just a tad still hungry. I have no doubt they have access to dynamite bread, it would have been nice to have a few slices. We didn't think to ask till we were long gone.

It's a beautiful walk through a garden like area from the parking lot. Very peaceful with a great calming effect. The small bar area was extremely warm as they are still doing some rearranging. Restaurant was very busy on a Saturday eve, but the wait staff was very attentive and kept up nicely. Appetizers of southwest pork rolls and the hoe cake were outstanding. The beef tenderloin was superb and perfectly prepared. My "hen of the woods" however, had significant portions undercooked, and they were nice enough to remove it from my bill. The chocolate genoise with peach compote for dessert was very, very good. Overall, a good experience, and I will definitely give this place another try.
