Great atmosphere on the patio on a gorgeous night. Live entertainment was fantastic and fun. Service was super friendly and attentive on a bust evening.
Food was a combo of outstanding and slight misses. Outstanding was the seared tuna, filet, humus platter with fried pitas and deserts were all good. Slight misses were the mushroom/barley salad which was unfortunately overdressed. Half the amount of dressing would have let the fresh ingredients shine more. Have had better crabcakes, this one was a little undercooked and slightly fishey. Grilled octopus (always tough to get 100% right) was also slightly fishy, but still very well cooked.
Look forward to returning
We were so excited to eat here. The space is beautiful and we sat out doors. Our main server was ok not very friendly but the food runner was incredibly engaging. The food was ok. Presentation great but taste not so great.
Their dishes are of great quality and present a nice variety of selection. The pork loin entre was truly wonderful, as was the sea bass and the cilantro lime hummus appetizer.
We have dined at great restaurants in many different parts of the world and we recognize that this restaurant is among those at the top of the list.
Also the wait staff are extremely well experienced and professional.
Truly a gem.
The Farmer’s Daughter is a excellent choice. I was there yesterday and food and service was outstanding.
I had indicated it was a birthday lunch, the food took far too long with no acknowledgement or apology from staff. Food was slightly burnt and for some odd reason covered in a large amount of parsley (it was a Reuben, fries and a pickle) it was impossible to eat without getting it all over. Really disappointed
Beautiful venue, great service, varied menu, great cocktail and beer selection...an enthusiastic 5 out 5 stars!
Service was great and the meal was even better!!
First time dining at the Farmer's Daughter. Lunch menu was extensive - something for all 4 of us to enjoy. The Grilled Octopus and pretzels were great starters. The sandwiches were delicious (the short rib, pulled pork and corned beef were all great) as was the salad. Highly recommend giving this place a try - you won't be disappointed. Already planning to go back for dinner in the near future!
Loved everything about our evening, starting with the outside bar. Awesome cocktails and loved being outdoors. The meal was outstanding. I just loved the duck. Service was great and atmosphere was perfect.
The cowboy cut pork chop was amazing!!! So were the pretzels, everything was delicious. Service and atmosphere were fantastic also.
i had the grilled romaine salad that is my favorite, but it seemed to be ~ half of the size that it normally is. my husband had the pork chop special which was outstanding. the hibiscus g & t was refreshing and well made.
The cocktails were so delicious and the food was good. Great value and beautiful atmosphere.
2 for lunch ordering turkey club and salmon blt w/sw pot fries. Sandwiches were ample and very good. Waiter did what he had to do. Which was ok as we did not require much attention from him. We had everything we needed.
Overall, a very good experience with great food and a nice environment. Our server, Lindsey, is excellent! Well done!
Pretty setting, mediocre food and service. For the price I would have liked to be blown away by everything. I will not be returning to the dining room. Perhaps I would be willing to try the bar menu, if they have one.
This is a go to local gem for special occasions and treats
Lovely from beginning to end other than the acoustics are poor when there is a noisy table in the room; no decor to absorb the sound. So you feel like you are shouting to hear your guests right across from you.
The hostess was so friendly! Our waitress however was not. She took our order but almost acted as if we were putting her out.
Outstanding evening for 14 guests in Wine Room !
Sunday brunch - first buffet since COVID for us. Very safe and well planned. Couldn’t ask for anything g else on the buffet - seafood, prime rib, ham, omelette, French toast, fruit, etc. Raspberry Bellini was very tasty! Good selection of desserts but I did nit find the very tasty at all. Other food was outstanding!
The food was very delicious. The atmosphere was energetic and vibrant. The service was excellent as well.
We had a great dinner. The food was lovely and our waiter, Andrew was excellent. We ate outside and loved it. We just were very taken aback with the amount of wedding guests inside the restaurant area who were not wearing masks. I don’t think we will be back soon because of that.
The Farmer’s Daughter is a Bucks County gem. The food is out of this world, and the patio is so beautiful. Perfect way to spend a summer evening. Everything we ordered was delicious. It really feels like you’re on a retreat!
Went for my birthday dinner with friends. Our server Andrew was great and all the food was so good! First time here, but not the last time. Will be back!
We went for Sunday Brunch and it was indoors and wonderful. It was so good to finally be able to enjoy the buffet. The food was delicious. It was wonderful to see Nicole again. She is always so friendly and efficient. She is definitely an employee that should be treasured. Our server was also friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
My wife and I have never been to the farmers daughter before but we did look at normandy farms as a potential wedding venue. After trying the food there we are glad that we went with another venue. The portions were extremely small and the taste just was not there. I wanted to ask for salt and pepper in hopes that would enhance something, but the server wasn't very attentive. When I asked my wife how her food was her description was "it's edible." Definitely not worth the 100 dollars for a dinner for 2.
I had been for dinner which was a great experience. When I made the brunch reservation, it was a la carte. The day before my reservation, I checked online and it was now a brunch buffet. I figured it would be ok. Food was average, at best. Our waitress was amazing however. I wouldn't go for a buffet again
We had a great Easter brunch
The Farmer's Daughter, Blue Bell, never disappoints. The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is wonderful. The entire staff is friendly and approachable and, most importantly, accommodating to someone with special needs. Our family has had breakfast, lunch, dinner and holiday buffets at this restaurant and we have always been extremely pleased.
service was fantastic, the food and drinks were perfectly cooked and mixed as ordered.
Really enjoyed the evening although the steaks were not really cooked as requested by 2 members of my dinner party which was odd because they were filets and pre sliced in the kitchen (which is odd for a filet). Would have thought if they were going to cheat on the doneness someone would have actually looked to make sure they were actually medium and not medium rare. Other than that it was a nice evening.
We can always depend on The Farmers Daughter for fabulous food and excellent service! It's our hidden gem.
Nice place. Food was good. Only issue were my son’s chicken fingers were very gristly. Unfortunately we were there to celebrate his Confirmation Day. Other than that all was great! Thanks.
Wait staff was very professional. They were on top of everything without hovering or excessive interruptions. The chef cooked everything perfectly, and the food was impeccable. Decor was modest contemporary, with subtle lighting, making it very cozy. Pricing was less than what we experienced.
Will be going again.
One of the finest meals from start to finish we have had in years. Absolutely outstanding! You MUST try the pretzel bites appetizer. It was unbelievable. The steak I had was every bit as tender as a Filet. Outstanding!
This restaurant is lacking servers who are knowledgeable about their wines and food. They could use more training. It was a very disappointing experience
I was there a couple of month ago and it was the best omelet i ever had.
Yesterday it was very bad.
Thanks so much! Dinner was great. Beautiful location. Will definitely be back!
Food was Phenomenal the service was great would definitely recommend and we will be back
