This is not a real farm to table restaurant. Unfortunately, we were served ketchup and processed white French fries with a burger.
Aside from burgers, the other two dishes were very tasty and well done. There were no whole-grain options for bread. The atmosphere and service were very good.
great friendly and attentive service. Food was good but portions were a little small
Delicious! Going back again because enjoyed so much.
The service and ambience were very nice. It’s unfortunate that the food was not only overpriced but also not very good. I really had expected a lot more given the overall reviews.
The table where we were seated was in a walkway and there was a lot of traffic. The food and service was good, but expensive.
The wait in our main course was at least 45 min!
Table was less then mediocre, behind a wall and very distracting light.
Food was okay, nothing great.
The manager opened the restaurant late and acted as if we were the ones being rude when we wanted to sit down for our 1130am reservation. Our server was helpful and accommodating. The food was very good - not great. Great location at bottom of the mountain.
What a surprise! We are here in The Canyons for 2 weeks in February and with only 4 or 5 dinner places in the mountain village, we have been to all of them. The big surprise was The Farm. Absolutely excellent food and service! We will probably be back before we leave to try other items on the menu. Note there are 3 places to dine at this venue - the "outside" umbrella type dining room, the lounge (very nice), and the main dining room.
We have eaten here every year since they opened. As a new restaurant they pushed the boundaries of every day cuisine...just a fantastic or uniquely flavorful version of an already great entree or app. All these years later they absolutely crushed it! The best of all the years, again pushing the the unique yet reserved boundaries of fine dining. We had the shashito app, a really tasteful combination of subtle bitterness, rich cheese and grilled peaches. Our three entrees were just so good! Trout, duck, and pork all done in completely their own ways. Can’t say enough. And to top it off the apple bread pudding was by far the best desert we’ve had all year!
Kudos to Vince our server! Affable, kind and knowledgeable of the subtleties of this inventive menu! Thanks
Tried many of the top rated restaurants in Park City this week and this was the only disappointment. Food was only so-so, the server was inattentive and forgetful and the décor was not impressive (no tablecloth, candle, flowers- nothing but a plain laminate table). But worst of all was the lighting. It was so bright that it hurt my eyes. It also made the space quite hot and uncomfortable.
After a very long day of skiing, we walked in to the restaurant, sat, looked at the menu, reassessed our appetites, and our wallets, and chose to leave. The staff was nice, understood our announcement that we weren't ready for this, and left.
The food was so-so - we had the trout special and it lacked flavor and the grits were thin. The trout was cooked perfectly. We also had the rabbit with bone marrow ... it was okay, the rabbit was good but the marrow was flavorless.
The atmosphere is the real turnoff. It’s small, crowded and lacks romance. The bar area is much nicer and more romantic with cushy seats and places to sit together.
The service is very good and attentive.
Tucked behind and under the Grand Summit Lodge and on the Plaza we found the The Farm. Seating was immediate. It was snowing so it was very cozy. We could see the fire burning outside and the snow falling thru the large windows. ❤️. The menu is not too long but should satisfy anyone and sharing the huge entrees is $5, which we would do next time as I could not even eat half of my entree. The food is beautiful and delicious, pix to follow. Tony, our server, made us feel comfortable immediately. Some places in Park City can feel stuffy but he was perfect! As were his 2 assistants. The dinner flowed perfectly, from amuse Bouche to dessert. And everything tasted wonderful, my favorite being the beets with smoked crème fraîche. The dessert of apple bread pudding was a bit too sweet, but it is dessert after all. Yes I would say it is expensive, but I don’t mind paying more for an excellent meal with excellent service and excellent portions. It’s all relative. Enjoy! We only go around once!
Sit on the bar side. Amazing presentations of perfectly cooked food. We got the greens, tartare, cassoulet, pork rib and duck canalonni . All really good.
We ate in the bar and the service was super! The food was delicious and ambiance was cozy.
It was not an easy restaurant to find. They should have told us that it was in the Canyons business area right across from the Red Pine lodge....
Main course selection was limited. We tried the Duck cannelloni because they came recommended... they were missing something... maybe a little spice to give them a kick...
the river trout on grits other the other hand was excellent... the best salad and winter salads also top notch...
so overall a great meal.
1/2 bottle of wine was helpful as we really didn’t want a full bottle!
Considering how obnoxious our group may have been, our server was fantastic. Some of the best service I have had. Great experience.
Great meal and service . The only problem was a family with 4 disruptive kids who were very loud and poorly behaved. The entire dinning room “ yurt” left except fior our table and the other with 4 kids.
Went for a group ski trip and searched for a place for a nice dinner out. Food was amazing! Personally. I had the pan roasted fish (trout) and grits. Probably the best grits I’ve ever had .... ever. Everyone enjoyed their meals. My fiancé who can’t have dairy was easily accommodated and they were even able to provide her with a modified amuse bouche. Would definitely eat here again the next time we come back to Park City.
WomdeRful food and servicd
Service was excellent, but just too speedy for a nice dinner. The food was outstanding, extremely high quality. Portions for cost we're a little small. Cocktails are over-priced, given the small Utah pour. Will definitely will eat there again.
You cannot go wrong. foos is creative and delicious. We had a wonderful evening. Enjoyed the pork, duck canneloni, and trout with grits. I wanted the muse bouch for dessert!
One of the very few very expensive places I've been where I felt I got every cent of value. Amazing food, amazing service, and amazing left overs I had for breakfast. Do not miss out on the goat cheese!!!
Buena comida y excelente servicio, la parte exterior tiene vista a las pistas de ski
Fast and friendly service. Great food!
Stopped in on our trip to Park City over the holidays since we were staying nearby. Food was fresh and tasty. We ordered the bone marrow and steak tartare to start and had the prime roast, salmon, chicken and pork chop for dinner. The chicken was delicious, but the pork chop was overcooked/dry :( We enjoyed the bread pudding and chocolate desserts.
We waited an hour for after ordering for our food and two of the six meals were cold! The Mac and Cheese was tasteless.
Great Food in a very quiet environment! Expensive but what restaurant isn’t during the Holidays in Park City!
Goat cheese brussel sprouts amazing appetizer!
Great food and service by Eric. Outstanding and can’t wait to go back
Another amazing restaurant in PC that we go to every time we’re there!!!
Always delicious, creative and amazing!!!
Totally worth every penny!!!
The food quality and variety is excellent - on par with any high-end restaurant found in a major city center, but located on a ski hill. Take advantage of it.
We had a great time at The Farm.
Outstanding Steelhead Trout and Pork dishes.
The cheese plate and shishito pepper appetizers were excellent too. Service was very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely return
First, I’d like to say this is the first review I’ve ever written. We have eaten at the farm multiple times in the past and have had a good experience. We arrived early and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. No big deal. We waited about 20 minutes for a wine and cocktail to arrive. After 50 minutes our first salad arrived, our other salads and soups took another 20 minutes, each arrived separately. The winter salad was bland and $18. The split pea soup was ok. No apology from our waitress, she blamed the kitchen staff on screwing it up. We were very hungry and waiting for our second course and had to ask for bread, more drinks... dinner finally arrived, lookwarm, edible but certainly not with any flavor. Again, no apology from the waitress for the delay. Many tables around us had been served even though they arrived after us. This was our Christmas Eve dinner, wish I would have made dinner myself.
The pea soup was to die for. Complex flavors. Unexpectedly good.
Trout on grits was nuances, complex and really good. Best grits I’ve ever had.
Excellent, and interesting cuisine, including locally produced items. Friendly service. A little pricey, but not more so than it was expected to be.
This place has everything. Delicious food and excellent service in a cozy, upscale setting. I absolutely will be a return customer here!
Service and atmosphere were fine. Food was disappointing. Menu is limited and not traditional. Pea soup is my favorite, but what they served was nothing special for $14. My main course was Cannoloni with mushrooms and duck. The result was heavy with not much flavor. Park City is not exactly gourmet center and I hoped The Farm would be better than it was.
