Normal a lovely place to eat but last visit it was noisy and couldn’t hear yourself talk
Main meal was ok but pudding was cold and couldn’t eat it
Service was very good and didn’t make a fuss when we stated we wouldn’t pay for pudding

Quiet date night. Nice food, reasonable service. We were in the upstairs restaurant which had a buzz about it a bit later in the evening.

The food was fantastic, we really enjoyed the chilli chocolate fondant. Our waiter Danny was incredible, he took fantastic care of us throughout our meal. I could not recommend this enough!

It was a busy Valentines evening but the food choice was excellent along with the service. The staff did marvellous with so many tables. I've sat up stairs before and it really needs a crowd to feel vibrant so this worked well. As usual the wine, gin and beer choice was extensive. Small criticism the main dish was a bit cool (although the side of chips - it was fish after all, were red hot) but everything else was so good it didn't spoil the evening. Red rose on departure a sweet touch. Can't wait to come back.

Not quite as anticipated for Valentine's Night. No romantic ambience, awkwardness regarding swapping Prosecco for alternative wine, rose as advertised did not materialise. We felt very much that the evening was more of a commercial exercise than a meaningful and memorable occasion.

Lovely Sunday carvery. A huge plate of food that was delicious. Will definitely be going back again. Restaurant a little small though as we had a baby in a pram, so not a lot of room to accommodate that.

Comfortable table with excellent service, although it was quite noisy in the restaurant - the added background music was probably not necessary as it just added to the noise. The starter was lovely - winter sharing board and was ample for two, my main course - steak looked good, but lacked flavour and was disappointing, the dessert was very nice. I would probably go again but perhaps be a bit more selective with my menu choices.

Fantastic meal, we had steak /seabass which were delicious, waiter's were very attentive, making sure we had a great evening.
