The Farm House Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
This is by far our very favorite restaurant. The food is consistently good, whether you want a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner. We have tried just about everything on the menu and have not found anything we did not like or that wasn't well made. Of course we have our favorites, but, really, everything is good. The servers are friendly and happy to accommodate any requests. Eating on the patio when it's warm outside is fabulous - the view over the golf course and creek is beautiful. Although we do not drink, the bar is always lively and everyone seems to be having a good time. Highly recommend.
My Date and I got to sample a few of the new items on the recent menu changes , We both started with the Arugula salad , fresh just right size and very tasty dressing . She had the veal over noodles dish and enjoyed it thoroughly , I had the ahi Tuna with forbidden rice and broccoli , with a Nicely spiced sauce , tuna was cooked perfect ! We ordered a nice New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, a nice wine for the price. Service was very attentive , atmosphere good ( Sat. Eve. , they had live acoustic music coming from the bar area) Great fine dining at a very reasonable price point.
My husband and another couple had lunch last weekend at The Farm House Restaurant. I was actually expecting a more rustic, farm to table type of experience, but this restaurant is actually a restaurant that is adjacent to a golf course, and it is more restaurant for the golfers. That being said, the food was GREAT! -The portions were huge, and most importantly, really fresh. My crab cake was the best I have ever tasted, and I've eaten quite a few crab cakes in my day.
Another great Meal at the Farmhouse - our party of 4 sampled the specials this evening - 3 of us got the salad special ( spinach, walnuts, strawberries) - fresh and delicious, same 3 also got the striped bass special , served with a red and white quinoa salad and asparagus , this was excellent and enjoyed by all, the fourth in our party got the chicken and mushroom risotto dish and their plate was licked clean ! - Service was very good , atmosphere pleasant ,wine list is small but very well priced. Overall an excellent value and great fine dining experience.
It could be so nice but it just doesn't get there. The menu's OK. The wine list is sort of OK - better if they'd actually have on hand what's on the menu. The service is OK. The location is pretty and the parking is convenient. There are better options in the area.
We tried the Farm House for the first time on Valentines Day and were not disappointed. The service was attentive and helpful, the dining area was very pleasant, and the food was excellent. The value was quite good compared to comparable dining experiences. It was definitely a good choice.
We were there for Valentine's Day and had a great meal.. Food was fabulous (I had the rack of lamb and my husband had the salmon). Service was excellent - attentive, but not too much and my water glass was refilled without asking a number of times (I drink a lot of water and usually have to ask at restaurants for refills)
we were looking for a nice restaurant to meet friends and enjoy each others company. The menu looked great and we took a chance. We are so glad we did. Small intimate dining setting but the food was tremendous. The beet salad was fresh and light, lobster bisque was light on lobster meat but tasty and not overpowering, seafood outstanding. We never made it to dessert but were very pleased with the food. I would like to go back in the warmer seasons to eat outside on their deck, which looked very inviting
My salmon was overcooked and dry. The lamb was unremarkable. Service was indifferent overall, our water glasses ran dry more than once. Not sure why that was-- there were only 5 tables occupied, and we they seemed to have 2 wait staff and a hostess/busser working.
What a wonderful first time visit! The meal was absolutely delicious. We started off with sharing the Arancini, then moving to salmon and the steak, which was tender, juicy and bursting with flavor. vegetables were nicely finished - both the asparagus and the sautéed spinach, roasted and garlic mashed potatoes. I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning!
Met friends for dinner on a Friday night. We had a very personable server. Most of our dinners were good but one came out very undercooked (raw pork). Server was apologetic and quickly returned it to the kitchen. Everyone else in our party was finishing their meals before the pork dinner was returned. It was still partly underdone even after the long wait. This was very disappointing.
We've been to the Farm House several times now and it's quickly become one of our favorites! The staff is very friendly and professional, and the food is outstanding. My goal was to eat my way through the menu, but they keep adding and changing seasonal offerings, making my task more complicated, but oh so enjoyable! My date absolutely love the Bananas Foster; I think she'd be happy to skip dinner and go straight for dessert!
