Gets better every time
Very fresh, light not greasy Italian, home made fresh pasta. Not overly garlicky. If your looking for heavy Italian NYC style food this Is not the place for you. FRESH.
Amazing dining experience! Food was fantastic and our server was the best. Every recommendation she made was perfect.
Loved it and already mentioned it to few friends.
Very accommodating of my group size. We all had a good time and loved the food. The size of the dishes are a bit small so if you have an appetite make sure to add some appetizers to your meal.
Authentic, homemade Italian fare w/ some interesting & notable items on the menu! Very loud yet friendly vibe, so not the right spot for a quiet dinner for two. Appetizers & pastas were fantastic, as was the Oso Buco. Nice wine list & handmade bar cocktails too - would def return!
This was my first time there. Our friends recommended it. The food and service were fantastic. I can't wait to go back!
Highly recommend! This was my third time dining, and I enjoyed the experience far better than my previous visits. I believed they have their dishes and service down. After going to newly opened hottest restaurants, but super disappointed with execution, I realized how much I appreciate this place. Great cost and value, attentive service & consistency, this will be my go-to Italian in downtown. It was completely bustling on a Saturday night; highly recommend making reservations.
Outstanding in every way. Already planning our next visit back
Overall, very satisfied. Very good service and staff. Food was a cut above. Smallish menu, but interesting choices. LA, so a bit pricey. A little on the loud side for us, but that depends on whom you are seated next to.
The handkerchief pasta is really good! I like the food, but the table setting is not suitable for more than 6 people. And the food size is medium.
Terrific food. Very friendly, professional and informative staff. Good value. Reasonable pricing.
Excellent Italian food and very good ambience.
They make their own pasta that is outstanding.
Exceptional dining experience from the service to the food. The most inventive and delicious pasta dishes. Mattia and his team are top notch.
The food and service was absolutely fabulous! I'm usually not impressed with the new, hot restaurant but this was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely be back because everything they brought out looked mouth watering delicious. All of the dishes can be shared and you leave actually feeling full. Very unpretentious for an upscale environment.
Loved the food as always. Only complaint was with pacing. Four items we ordered were delivered too quickly and all at the same time—barely after the wine was pored. Luckily we hadn’t ordered our main courses so were able to slow down the pace.
Pasta craving !!! Best pasta
Wonderful. Best pesto I’ve ever had .
Fantastic food and service
Location is in an industrial part of DTLA. Parking is scarce and the area didn’t feel safe, so it forces you to use the overpriced valet.
Menu was interesting and was told it changes daily. I’m guessing not everything changes.
Ordered the salad with goat cheese and dates. Three words. Out-Stan-Ding. Kidding about the 3 words. The greens were plenty, the goat cheese was mild and creamy, the radishes and dates provided nice contrast and the dressing was just the right amount of acidity. All the salads we saw served were enough for 2.
Split the sausage stuffed pasta in browned butter and sage. Pasta was thin. Sauce was nice. Filling seemed dry and crumbly. Overall, it still made me happy.
Our table got the sea bass. Was tasty but the skin was flabby. Ordered the porchetta and was disappointed. Portion was large enough but would have preferred two thicker slices instead of three thinner ones (to get more of a cracklin’ with each bite) and I’m used to having the pork belly wrappers around the tenderloin. This just was basically circular bacon.
The banana bread pudding was perfect.
The gelato combo was a bit soft so it didn’t look as appealing. Tasted fine though.
Great! Delicious healthy Italian fare, great decor and such good noise level.
I always choose Factory Kitchen for dinners with friends who want to "go somewhere great in the Arts District." Factory Kitchen NEVER disappoints!
Food was good, and good variety. My fault for not checking/asking price of glass of wine. I asked for a glass of Cab and of course my server brought me a $19 glass. I hate that.
FYI not many gluten free options and did not know what items were or were not.
Last minute changed my mind to have the “best thing on the menu” shrimp ravioli... very fishy and prepared al dente.
Best experience was at the bar. Best food items to try...basil pasta and beets. A must...
Best Italian food we've tasted in L.A. Although my husband hates driving downtown he will make allowances if we eat at Factory Kitchen!!
Great and knowledgeable service. Served family style we shared 3 entrees, flat bread & 2 starters. Dessert too. Plenty for 4 people & convenient to downtown destination spots.
Only a few words needed to describe Factory Kitchen and our experience. Each and every time we go, it is hands-down the best service, food and overall experience. Love, love, love the Handkerchief Pasta. My favorite and mainstay. Management and wait-staff are all top-notch. Thank you friends @ Factory Kitchen. We will see you again soon.
Always a pleasant experience at Factory Kitchen! Food and service is always exceptional. They were crowded on a Saturday night and we had to wait a little, but the hospitality staff led us to the bar and gave us constant table status updates.
Although the food at The Factory Kitchen is delicious, it’s the staff and service that make this restaurant my very favorite. The patrons here range from young and funky to upscale mature and all are welcome and treated beautifully. The serving staff is warm and generous and it’s not unusual to receive a brief and friendly table visit from the owner. I say serving “staff” because each table receives attention from multiple staff members. Water is never empty, table is always clean, empty dishes are whisked away quickly and discreetly and patrons receive a claim check for their leftovers so that they can enjoy dessert and beautiful cappuccino without clutching a to go bag in their lap. Not to mention the freshly made pasta and lovely wine list! Prices are reasonable, ambiance is lively and fun without being loud ~ I can’t say enough about The Factory Kitchen!
Great food. Very good service. Loud environment.
We were visiting USC and needed a nice dinner between the tour and a Lakers game. How pleasantly surprised we were with everything about Factory Kitchen! Great ambiance, friendly and upscale service and amazing food.
Service was impeccable, food was delicious can’t go wrong at the factory
Overall great food, delicious, service and would recommend to all. Parking a little high for dinner, $8...
Looking forward to returning
Always great and consistent.
It was a very pleasant experience. It was a departure from our usual Easter celebration but we very much enjoyed the dinner.
Delicious food, nice ambiance and fantastic service.
I was a little dissapointed with the food because it wasn't anything special or different from other Italian restaurants I had tried. Also, I had an 8:45 reservation and I was not sat until 9:25 therfore it defeated the whole purpose of the reservation.
Amazing! Food was Absolutely delicious and the service was great. We were a bit late for our Rez but got seated right away when we arrived. Highly recommend
Best pasta in LA!
Always amazing food. The kale salad was refreshing and tasty. The red snapper and swordfish were sublime.
