About

The Everest Kitchen brings the Shoreline/Lake Forest Park area a unique cuisine. The dishes are such that you would find in the Himalayan regions of Tibet, India and Nepal. A house specialty is the naan bread cooked in a tandoori clay oven Ð offered plain or with garlic, potato, spinach, Indian cheese or spiced ground lamb.

Lunch is served buffet style at a flat price, while dinner is from the a la carte menu. If you havenÕt experienced this cuisine before, the lunch buffet is a great way to sample your way through The Everest KitchenÕs various dishes. For dinner, a great way to begin is the assorted platter of three different starters, including papadum and tamarind mint sauce. Alternatively, the mulligatawny soup is popular as well. Curry and tandoori dishes are the most common entrŽe choices at The Everest Kitchen.

Great food. As simple as standard Indian buffet during lunch, but as interesting as Tibetan food (think Indian tastes with Chinese preparations like dumplings) and Nepalese (think Mountain Curry... like Goat even). Accessible to newbies; tasty for foodies.
