Superb food and atmosphere as always. A little disappointed the duck sausage appetizer was not available due to Covid downsizing the menu but they promised it'll be back as we will be.

It was a wonderful restaurant for our anniversary, but for family dinning or just a normal night out it was a little pricey and limited selection. Overall the ambience was wonderful wonderful and our service was great.

The English Inn has turned in to my wife’s and my go to place for fine dining. Has not let us down. Looking forward to our next visit. Food is excellent and service is very professional. Highly recommend.

This was our first time to the English Inn. It will defiantly, not be our last. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and safe in the current pandemic. Our waiter (can't remember his name) was amazing and always made sure our drinks were full and every course of our meal was served to perfection. I can't wait to go there again! Kudos to everyone at the English Inn!!!

The food was very good, but after reading reviews from others I expected to be wowed and I was not. The atmosphere is outstanding and the noise level is low, making it a great place to have a quiet conversation with your date. We were immediately turned off by the restaurant's extreme COVID protocol and our waiter's inability to use basic common sense when it came to safety. He was literally standing 10 feet away and shouting to us rather than standing by our table and talking at a regular volume. This seemed tacky and inappropriate considering the type of establishment it is. My wife, who works with the public on a daily basis and leads a team of 100+ employees, takes COVID protocol quite seriously and works hard to keep her team and customers safe. However, she was actually angry at the level of COVID safety precautions used at this place. It is a cool place to eat, but not under the current circumstances.

We love to celebrate special moments at the English Inn. We celebrated my husband’s 82nd birthday on Tuesday evening and it was a lovely and delicious celebration! We always feel so welcome. The service is great!

Quite simply, the English Inn is the best restaurant in the greater Lansing area. It’s really the only five-star restaurant and hotel. The cottage rooms are especially entrancing. And it’s already decorated for Christmas!

We celebrated our 42 anniversary and it was exceptional. From the wait staff to dinner to dessert an outstanding meal. There was no feeling of rushing us and the ambiance was exceptional. We make this a yearly event and look forward to it v

The English Inn goes out of their way to make you feel like you are having an elegant, and safe, dining experience. The waitstaff was great and very attentive. There were so many great choices on the menu! The Baked Brie was a great warm start My husband and I had a hard time deciding our entrees but narrowed it down to 2 choices and shared at the table. Both were amazing and the perfect portion size. I had a couple of their specialty cocktails, trying something new, and they were unique and refreshing!

Amazing food! My husband and I had an excellent time and our server was phenomenal! They also did an amazing job of making sure we felt safe/social distanced. 10 outta 10, would recommend!
