The best service I have received in a restaurant in years.

Dinner at The Edge at the Ritz was absolutely fantastic. I eat at many of the top restaurants around the country, and can't think a any that were more exceptional. Everything! The service was second to none. Really exception service. The food was exceptional, and I tried the A6 Wagu beef, which is a rare find and an amazing treat. The setting was beyond words, with an exceptional view of the Palm Springs valley below on one side and a beautiful blue pool and terraces up to the Ritz on the other. Fortunately for us, the weather was just perfect on that March night to sit outside, making it all that more memorable.

My husband and I went to The Edge for our anniversary dinner and our experience was wonderful! The food was extraordinary, the atmosphere was great but the best part was the service! Chad was our server and he took such great care of us. It was easily the best experience we’ve ever had! Everything was perfect!!!

Fantastic! Absolutely fantastic! The staff was amazing and the food was absolute perfection! Tomahawk was fabulous!!

The view and the service are stand outs. The steaks were cooked just right. The flavor of the meat was not over the top as what you expect from a steakhouse. And enjoyed the cordial cart after dinner.

Everything was INCREDIBLE! Absolute perfection! Could not have asked for anything better!

We were assigned the worst seat in the restaurant, facing the restroom, next to the waiters station, and without lights above.

This was an anniversary dinner, and the Edge did not disappoint. Too cool to sit outside, but we had a wonderful table by the window. The service was just outstanding. Our Sommelier did a wonderful job of assisting us. He chose a great wine at a reasonable price. The steaks were done very nicely. This is not a cheap dinner, but very hard to beat as a dinner spot with a great view in a great venue.

Excellent NY steak, salad and sides. Professional and friendly service... overall, pricey but worth it... wine list is excellent too and mark-ups are reasonable.

Best of the best

This is the only steak house with offers a prime Cap Steak which is incredibly flavorful and incredibly tender. The service matches the exceptional steaks. A dinner evening is well worth the experience of incredible flavor, tenderness, attentive service and an exceptional view of the Coachella Valley.

My wife and I celebrated our 10-year anniversary here and we cannot say enough about their incredible cuisine and customer service! They went above and beyond at every turn in the evening! We will defiantly be coming back to The Edge Steakhouse, hopefully before we head home!!

We dined here before and absolutely loved our entire experience. Previously the food was exquisite and the steaks some of the best we have ever tasted.

Tonight was far from that experience, so sorry to say. The food was not special, could have dined at any other good steakhouse and have had the same food but most probably much reasonable in price.

One of the best meal experiences ever!

My husband and I were disappointed by our dinner at The Edge Steakhouse. While the views and the service were both excellent, the food was not worthy of the hefty price of the meal. A $75 petite fillet should be cooked to perfection and mine certainly was not. I’ve had much better fillets and French onion soup at other restaurants for a much lower price. Our dessert was so underwhelming we hardly ate any of it. I was really hoping for a special dinner (this was a surprise for my husband) but only ended up feeling ripped off.

I absolutely loved them. They were truly the best, thank you for having us.

We were there for a birthday celebration. The food, the service, and the table were excellent. However, there was a table behind us that had four people who were very very loud and we couldn't have a discussion between ourselves; we were forced to listen to their discussion. It appeared they were Hollywood types and talked about people not caring who heard it. We complained to our servers who were understanding but of course couldn't do anything about it. The noise at the rest of the restaurant was louder than we like, but tolerable. It was the table behind us that was intolerable.

Wonderful, romantic dining experience with incredible view of the valley. Excellent wine list. Great service. My wife and I shared the seafood ceviche, then shared the prime bone in ribeye, with wild mushrooms. All fantastic. Another perfect meal in the valley. We will return.

Excellent food and service. Saturday was a stellar view with the full orange moon over the valley. It is rather pricy but worth special occasions. Seems prices are even much higher than the last time we were there about 15 months ago. Sally is an amazing server and always provides the best in service.

The ceviche was a flavor explosion- delicious. The scallops were perfection.
FYI -Mixed drinks are half the price of a glass of house wine.
Thought it would be a quiet somber environment but it was energetic and bustling with music and conversations.

The Edge is a restaurant with a fabulous view... that's what you're paying for. The food is good, but expensive. The service is the best. We were fortunate to get a window seat on a full moon... it was beautiful.
Note that valet parking is required.

I looked over all the high end restaurants in the area and decided to choose this one. I chose it for the view. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it since it was dark when we arrived. We arrived at the Ritz and the valet promptly parked our car. As you go in to the Ritz, you will pass straight through their less formal restaurant, go outside and you will see a gorgeous water feature. Pass straight through that and just follow the path to the edge, literally. What a site to behold. The water and fire features really set the mood and when you get to the end, the lights of the valley are just breathtaking. This is what you see from their window tables.

Sometimes when you go to a restaurant that has a view, the food is so-so. Not here! We had Octopus to start with and I am not the type to eat that. It was great! For vegetables, we went with cauliflower and mushrooms. The main course was the Steak Flight with aged tenderloin, rib eye, and New York. Amazing! Then we had apple cinnamon dessert which was stellar. After that they offered us complimentary night cap drinks.

We left feeling pretty magical that night. I used Open Table to reserve it and put in the comments that I really needed a window table for a date night and they made sure we had one. We also made sure to show up earlier than our reservation time. So glad I chose this place.

Went for our 45th anniversary. The food and the experience was outstanding! Would do it again tomorrow. Be prepared to pull out your wallet but you will be rewarded with the quality of food and preparation that comes with the fine dining experience.

The stakes were not so impressive even though the prices were exclusive. the waiters were very professional. each portions were big enough for 4 adults to share.
