We were able to make reservations easily and were seated right away. They were at the end of the season so items on the menu we wanted to try were not available and there were limited selections for food and alcohol. The food was good and the veal schnitzel was the best item we tried. Overall it was good.

I lived in Germany 4 years. they had to be good, or I would not even bother writing this. I LOVE German cuisine and this chef has got it down! Perfect appetizers (fried Gouda balls...WHAT!?!?) Great cocktails and wine menu (try one of the Rieslings). Perfectly cooked meat and sauce...and VERY good v vegetables and sides. Our waitress was perfectly lovely and attentive, and the host remembered that this was a bucket list trip for me and offered the desserts comped...I have rarely felt so special. You must try The Edge if you are in the area....or make the trip. You will be very pleased. Schmeck gut!!

Edge was exceptional in every way from authentic German food (some of best we have had outside of Germany) and beer (Hofbrau Draft) at Happy Hour prices in the dining room. Service was impeccable without being overbearing. Very reasonable prices with a great quantity of food. Well worth the drive to the top of Snowmass.

A small restaurant located in the Timberline Condo Complex. Great place for a "different" menu. Nice and friendly service and good food. (German/Alpine dining).

My wife and I had dinner twice at the Edge while staying in Snowmass Village. The restaurant is a little bit away from the mall, but easy to find. The food and beers are great. Service is very good and you sit outside (biergarten). The food is good German food and very tasty.
They have a Happy Hour from 5 to 7 pm with half off drinks.

We had a wonderful meal here. We each started with the goulash soup which was as good as any that we had in Transylvania, Romania or Hungary. We ordered the cheese fondue that was substantial and more than we could finish. The service was great and the prices were very reasonable. This was, by far, the best meal we had on our 3 day long weekend in the Aspen-Snowmass area. Definitely, a keeper.

This Dinner was just what we needed after a long day of travel. My husband and I shared a Caesar salad, stuffed veal entree and apple strudel dessert. The portions were quite large and sharing was perfect for us...and everything tasted really good. My husband is quite critical of restaurants since he likes to cook but gave this restaurant 5s for all categories. We really enjoyed the atmosphere...quiet enough to talk and hear with good selection fir background music.

A repeat visit to the Edge. We had high expectations because of our previous experience. We dined on the gypsy schnitzel. The schnitzel itself was well done. However, the sauce that was prepared was subpar. The mushrooms in the sauce were not fresh and had the texture of those that were previously dehydrated and not properly rehydrated. Perhaps it was the time of year and the end of season - but using fresh mushrooms in the sauce would have made all the difference! The service was fantastic and the apfel strudel was excellent! We will still be back.

Cheese fondue not very tasty. The salad had so much garlic I couldn't eat it. Blueberry vodka drink had so much blueberries and muddled mint in it I couldn't use a straw. Tasty but felt like part of a meal

This menu is German/Austrian inspired and delicious. The handmade fresh bread to start with the creamy cheese is wonderful. Can recommend the schnitzel, the chicken or the steak. The deserts are amazing so save some room. Wine selection is great and if you have never visited Austria or Germany then you really must try the Gluhwein - hot red wine, sweetened and with orange and a cinnamon stick - yum!

My husband and I lived in Germany for five years, and were delighted to find an authentic German restaurant in Snowmass, CO. Everything was well prepared and beautifully presented. --from the Spargel Salat and Goulaschsuppe appetizers, to the red deer and trout main courses. We loved the fresh pretzel bread served with Quark. We will definitely return to The Edge when we ski Snowmass next year, and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food.

We had a delightful dinner at The Edge. Our waiter, who we found out was new, was awesome. She was kind, friendly and made us feel very welcome. We even called the manager over to tell her how great she was.
The food was amazing. My husband loved his Goulash, said it tasted just like what we had in Vienna!. the veal and pork schnitzel , were soooo good. The manager helped us with out wine selection and it was perfect. We had a great table with a view of a beautiful Christmas tree and lots of snow. It was really a memorable Christmas dinner for this Texan family. I highly recommend it for the food, service and inviting atmosphere. They even phoned our shuttle for us so we were whisked away without even a chill.

Well, we ate here for Christmas dinner. We were limited in selections, bc my son is gluten free, and so most places that were actually open didnt have gf options. They did have gf bread, and the fondu was gf. Several entrees were also GF. Food was really just ok, the fondue nothing special. The mussels were good and so was the service. With all the options in Aspen and Snowmass, I really regretted coming here though.

I had looked the restaurant up online since I wanted a local place to eat in Snowmass. I was so happy to find The Edge and was anticipating a great meal. There were things I really liked a lot (the pretzels both gluten and gluten free, the house and caeser salad, the pork shank, the schnitzel) and some things that really didn't work (the fried/very hard spaetzel, the purple cabbage was grossly over sweet, some of the sausage seasoning just didnt seem to work with us, the sauerkraut regrettably was nothing like Pepi's in Vail which is amazing). The ambiance was good, the service was good, the food presentation was wonderful, but regrettably the issues with some of the food would keep me from coming back again. Sorry, I really wanted to like The Edge better.

I had the Rothirsch which was done to perfection. They had a half price wine special which was less than optimal (2014 Hugel RIesling). Very enjoyable outdoor eating but no view. Server was helpful and very good.

Just a few steps above the Snowmass Village there is this little restaurant that reminds us of Switzerland... Great cheese fondue and a very diverse menu at very reasonable prices!! But the best part is the service! Justin, our waiter, was just great! He was funny, very attentive and always ahead of our needs. He made out last evening of our trip a memorable one! A must when in Snowmass!!

Wait staff were all very nice, food was good, but not amazing. Big salads, small plates. Very little fondue for 2 people, we were left with 1/2 a plate of Apple, bread and sausage. Bread was hard as a rock, fondue not very hot. No excuses, it wasn't busy.

This restaurant has a lovely ambience, is quiet, and has excellent service. Conveniently located in the Timberline Condominiums of Snowmass Village, parking is a breeze even if not staying here. The staff at this restaurant was kind, courteous, and very attentive. The wine selection is very good and the food honestly is very good - if you like German cuisine. It is authentic German cuisine, which is slightly heavier in nature and denser than our palates our used too. Three at our table ordered steaks (which we did over medium well) and they were quite tough. I ordered the sea bass, which I think was fried, which I was not as excited about as a grilled or broiled fish. I did enjoy a salad before hand that was light and lovely. I doubt we would eat there again as our family prefers other genres of food.

We were really looking forward to our meal at The Edge, but were terribly disappointed in the quality of the food. To be fair, our appetizer (Snail Soup) was very good and the service was quick. On the recommendation of the waitress, we both ordered the Schnitzle (me: Pork; husband: Veal). We waited 40 minutes from the time our appetizer came until we got our meals. My schnitzle was oily and the spaetzle was hard and flavorless. My meal was comped because I could not eat it, but that did not make up for the disappointing meal in Snowmass.
