Food was very good and we loved the vibe of the place. Only criticism was the server was completely disinterested in the service. He was brusque and asked questions that he didn’t wait for the answer to. He was determined to rush us out of there.
Quintessential Village restaurant that’s terrific for date night or friend’s get together. Loved the corn break and crunchy country fried chicken. Energetic and fun, and a place to return to.
Pricey but the food is always great!
As always an amazing dining experience. Everyone is always so welcoming and the vibes are great
Very good thanks.
Fairly enjoyable brunch. The waiter was friendly and food was good. Wish the cocktails were a bit cheaper, but other than that, not much to complain about.
Went for brunch — good selection of brunch classics and drinks. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Easy and decently priced.
Food was terrible. Far from the quality they had years ago. Not worth it.
Very nice comfortable restaurant, with great staff & great food. Everything we had was delicious. (We had the steak with kimchi fried rice & the fried chicken) The restaurant is family friendly, I went with my 4 year old & we both had a great time. Looking forward to going back.
Host was whack but everything else was great
Great brunch spot! We ordered the flapjacks with blueberries and the smoked salmon plate.
John was terrific.
Salad with chicken was to die for! Wait staff incredibly observant.
We decided on the Dutch to celebrate seeing friends we haven’t seen in over a year. The food was wonderful, the service was great and the atmosphere was quiet and charming. We highly recommend the Dutch.
We had such a lovely dinner outside at The Dutch, from cocktails and appetizers through to desserts and after dinner drinks and wine. Excellent, friendly service and we all ate every bite.
The host can do better, the staff and drinks are pretty good.
Food was great but our server had a massive chip on his shoulder and really took the experience down a notch.
It was a lovely experience! Great food! Would recommend
Shame when waiters don’t write down orders and they get it wrong. Sadly second time this has happened recently.
way too noisy outside.
It’s a machine. Not very warm or service oriented. But good outstanding
Dan is the man!
I made a reservation to sit inside, I showed up on time and was told I’d have to wait at least 45min to sit inside and they could only seat me outdoors. They charge $5 for a single sofa, and brought me a refill without mentioning it’s $5 PER soda. My friend and I each had 2 diet coke’s which cost $20- that’s absurd.
Awful hostess, service. Won’t be back
Good spot in the village, great outdoor seating available, and friendly service. Food was not so memorable, but it's ideal for w/e brunch and after work dinners.
Excellente soirée et repas à ce restaurant qui est un de mes préférés à New York. Tartare de wagyu incroyable !
Food, drinks and ambiance were decent at best and not worth the high prices. Staff needs an attitude adjustment.
Pancakes and biscuits were absolutely incredible.
Had a morning date with my girlfriends and everything was delicious! We all shared a skillet cornbread. I had the Spinach Omelette & my friends had the hot chicken and honey biscuits. The serving size was huge. It was nice to sit outside and people watch. Glad I tried a new place while visiting NYC.
The service was poor for the cost of dining there. I’m a fan of the chef/ restaurant but last Friday I felt gyped.
Perfect local spot for a casual meal or a get together. Good drinks as well
The Dutch maintains its reputation. The food is always outstanding and so is the service and the drinks.
Had a lovely Mother’s Day brunch at The Dutch. Great service, great food! Nice place for a special occasion.
Outstanding food, caring service. Felt safe. Can’t wait to return for excellent meals: oysters, fried chicken, burgers.
Great outdoor space. Very busy and festive. Great food
This is my fourth experience at Dutch over several years. The first three were dinner’s. I was very happy with them. This time I invited a friend to lunch. Menu was very limited. Fried chicken was all batter no chicken and so hard. Kale salad was nothing special. Carrot cake was soggy, the lime sherbet was good. There was a decent Prosecco. No espresso or coffees other than regular. We were two women of over 60, so they would not sit us at table of 4 though it never filled. We ate outside where two young men spoke loudly to distraction at the next table. The booths are tiny, we’re not overweight, even so we didn’t quite fit. The tables were tiny. We sat there because the heat lamp at a quieter table was not working. The woman server was attentive and pleasant. My friend , an architect had just finished consulting near by, it was her birthday and I suggested we meet there. I wish I had chosen better. Or gone at night where it’s roomier and menu is better. We were expecting soft shell crabs which I had read was on the menu.I guess I was mistaken.
Great outdoor dining experience on a beautiful sunny spring day. What could be better?
Amazing food and service
