Love this local hangout for brunch. Service is spot on, and the food always delicious.
Top Service, top food, top ambience. Extremely friendly personell!
Service was horrible. We sat for nearly 20 minutes before the waiter came to talk to us. Drinks and food were good not great. Not worth the wait or the price. So loud that we had a hard time having a conversation and people from the bar were leaning on our table for all of dinner.
Great dining, good food food and drinks
Despite tons if staff, we waited 20minutes to give our drinks order and had to consistently flag staff for taking orders, etc. The food was good and generous! Desserts were average. We will return and skip dessert. Cocktails were excellent.
Bloody Caesars are the best ever!! We went for lunch but definitely need to go back for the brunch menu.
Our favorite neihborhood restaurant. The food is unparalleled.
We had the lunch tasting menu - portions were really small, though food was good. But didn’t seem like good value for money.
Service was good - but the servers were wanting to clear the table too fast, we had to tell them to leave things one too many times
My girlfriends and I had a great evening celebrating a bride to be and the staff was very accommodating! Great night, thank you!
Went for the fried chicken - wonderfully juicy and exactly what we wanted - and stayed for the oyster sliders?, fried green tomatoes w/burrata, and steak tartare. Oysters terrific but fried green tomatoes w/burrata the best. I've lived in the South and have had fried green tomatoes at Asheville and Charleston's best. The fried green tomatoes and burrata at The Dutch were the best we've ever had.
Always solid over the years. Can never complain about the food or service here. I just thought after a few years of not visiting the place, the prices have risen sharply. Still a worthy establishment for most occasions.
A little Over priced but great for brunch and cocktails
We’ve been to this restaurants so many times and always got the best service. Yesterday I felt horrible because I took my friend out for her birthday and It was a very unpleasant experience. Our waitress kept on asking if we wanted to order anything else while we were still working on our food and drinks, every couple of minutes.... We haven’t even finished our drinks when she just gave us a check. Very rude!
Brunch with my family. Convenient to our hotel. Great food.
Prompt seating, quality service, tasty food-a very good combination that we enjoyed.
Went here for brunch for my friends birthday. They even brought out a sparkler with ice cream for her birthday so cute didn’t expect that.
The Dutch has excellent quality food. Have been only for brunch. Very accommodating with substitutions. Definitely a great place to go in Soho.
Food is outstanding. Definitely makes it on my short list of good restaurants. On par with places like the Beatrice Inn. Service was very good as well. The only wet spots was the noise level and the cocktails. If you want to hear your conversation and would prefer not to lose your voice, come earlier or later. Tried a few cocktails, they were not bad, but lacked imagination for the price - I’d suggest sticking with the wines. Still, really looking forward to going back soon!
It's a lovely restaurant and the service is great but the food was sadly quite disappointing. The flavours were just unexciting and bland. A real shame as I'd been looking forward to something special.
Nice quiet booth at the back
Delicious and great atmosphere
The ambiance and service are good but the food is bleh. It's super expensive for what you get. Has def gone down over the years
Great staff, Fantastic food. A few tables were very energetic, but the vibe is mellow.
It was awesome!
Always love visiting the Dutch, one of my favorite restaurants in NYC
Fabulous bartender/waitperson with the best haircut (sorta Mohawk-y) who was fun and charming and made meeting my friend at The Dutch more fun
Great summer salad, halibut and lamb chops. Good drinks and lively atmosphere.
Nice local place for drinks and supper. Lively bar scene
We had an excellent waiter. So knowledgeable, nice and fun. He totally enhanced our evening. After learning we had an early departure from NYC the next day, he send us home with beautifully wrapped and very delicious blueberry muffins. Our dinner was delicious. The fish so fresh and well prepared, the handmade pasta was excellent. And we added fries to the mix. Top 10 fries for us!! The wine steward was not totally comfortable with his knowledge of the California Cabs. Using one of our wine apps, we were able to make a great choice. W
Staff members were polite, friendly and me and my guest feel welcomed.
waiter over sold size of $66 tbone it was small and not good
With such a beautiful place something needs to be done for the noise level.
It is not possible to properly converse with the person sitting across.
The high noise level makes it unpleasant to dine at The Dutch and hence look for other less noisy restaurants and it is such a pity.
Tables rather cramped , Personally felt the menu was limited.
Not quite sure what the hype is all about.
I will give a positive note on our server very knowledgeable individual.
Great meal, really good service. Love the menu.
The food wasn’t as good as i had hoped and the service was super pushy.
Very, very noisy at first (9p) but quiet by 10. Love the room and the food.
The food was fabulous and the service was even better. Erin made my friends birthday, with her friendly service and surprise birthday sparkler.
The oysters and the salmon entree were excellent. Very good dinner all around. Pricey, but worth a splurge. Highly recommend.
The lamb chops where not cocked well and the salmon was not tasty, the wine glass was filled less than it should be.
The Dutch is a gem. Great atmosphere and food and attentive, friendly service too. I highly recommend it. And they keep their music low so people can actually hear one another and talk to one another, big thumbs up for that amenity which more restaurants need to follow. The brunch we all had yesterday was wonderful. Get the doughnut tree!
